The initial consultation was very thorough and I was able to meet what would become my care team. Seeing the CT scan, we all felt it best to pull the remaining teeth, deal with any infections, get bone graphs, and full upper and lower implants. I felt absolutely no pressure to go with any specific option (3 were available). At that same visit, I arranged financing, chose my teeth color and scheduled surgery for three weeks out. Due to increasing pain levels I requested that surgery be moved up a week and they were able to accommodate me. Day of surgery I was very nervous and they took the time to ensure I was ok before starting. Went out like a light from the anesthesia and woke up pleasantly numb. I was taken to a recovery room where I promptly fell asleep once again. Before I knew it, I was woken up to have my healer implants put in (yes, I walked out with a full set of teeth). Post surgery, day one the swelling started, and then the bruising but I had no pain other than the cuts at the corners of my mouth. I am now 8 days post surgery. No more swelling, just a small bruise on my chin and I can smile again. The implants did take getting used to as my bite is now corrected, but even that is a minor inconvenience. I wanted a second opinion and asked my dentist to send my records to Dr. Silver. On my first visit for a consultation, I was made to feel very comfortable by his front desk receptionist, Christine. (Actually Christine is a lot more than a receptionist. She is involved in every aspect of the office. SHE REALLY KEEPS IT RUNNING SMOOTHLY). Anyway, I waited less than 5 minutes before I saw the doctor. When I explained my problem, he gave me several possible options but what was viable naturally, couldn't be determined until after my exam and x-rays. Dr. Silver is amazing. His office is tastefully decorated and immaculate, as are the exam rooms. Love the coffee table books. The procedure was very involved and I needed an extraction and implant. Throughout the very involved process which took many visits, Dr. Silver kept me informed every step of the way. He made sure I was comfortable and his tecnicians are wonderful. This is a one doctor practice, which I prefer. You get to know the doctor and staff on a one on one basis. Dr. Silver has a very dry sense of humor which adds to the experience. I never thought that I would call going to a dental specialist an "experience" but that's how relaxed and comfortable this office makes you feel. Marianne, his tech is wonderful. The entire practice is so comfort oriented, that you almost forget you're at a dentist. Dr. Silver is also available for emergencies on Saturdays. Since I'm fortunate that I have no cavities, I go for regular cleanings and evaluations to keep me cavity free.

At this point, it became clear to me that they have a financial threshold that they must meet before they will provide any service. In other words, if they aren't going to make a certain amount of money, they won't provide service. I said no to the upper denture, said thank you and walked out. She told me they had a 'January 23rd @ 11:30am' available. So I went ahead and made the appointment. A few weeks went by and I received a text to confirm my appointment. The only issue was they had it on their end for 'January 16th @ 10:30am.' I immediately called to point out the mistake. The receptionist immediately scolded me and accused me of making the mistake. She/he was entirely unreasonable. Fortunately I was able to set up another cleaning with another dentist for January 23rd.
