I have received multiple procedures at the office of Dr.Jonathan Sykes. The first procedure was a facial. Jennifer was amazing. She was very attentive and thorough. I left the office with a rejuvenated and refreshed face. I am hooked and have gone back for subsequent treatment. I also have had Botox and filler by Rachael and it is the best results I have ever had and I have been doing this for years. Most recent I have had the morphea8 laser and it is amazing! My skin has never been better. There is practically no down time, and the results are very satisfying. The staff there is very knowledgeable and attentive. I will be returning for sure. I also wanted to add that my daughter had a rhinoplasty and chin implant with Dr. Sykes and it was life changing for her. Thank you Doctor Sykes, Rachael, Emily, Kathy and both Jennifers! read more

WARNING: Graphic Pictures! I would not recommend this plastic surgeon. At 36, after losing 35 pounds, I wanted to address my double chin and went in expecting a straightforward, routine procedure. Unfortunately, what followed was a very difficult experience marked by a lack of post-operative care, communication, and ultimately disappointing results. After surgery, I asked whether I should come in for a follow-up appointment to check the incision and ensure the compression wrap -- which is essential for proper healing -- was correctly placed. I was told it wasn't necessary. As my recovery progressed, I experienced significant pain and concerning healing issues. I reached out multiple times with photos and questions, but instead of receiving meaningful guidance or solutions, I felt dismissed and blamed for how my body was healing. In an effort to improve the outcome, I pursued a full year of lymphatic massage on my own, spending over $3,000 out of pocket. When I returned with minimal improvement, a second procedure was performed. While recovery was somewhat better, the results were still underwhelming. I was later encouraged to pursue additional treatments like Morpheus, Botox, and filler to try to correct the uneven appearance. It's now 2026, and while I've fully healed from this terrible experience in 2023, I remain deeply disappointed in both the process and the results. I'm sharing this so others can make a fully informed decision before moving forward. read more

The worst surgeon, he botched my once beautiful eyes. Shouldn't have let this man touch my eyes or chin. He left me with a large bulge under chin. Wish I would have researched Dr. Sykes and listened to my gut. I've been so depressed don't even want to leave my house, my eyes are so deformed. read more

SYKES = MEDICAL MALPRACTICE I had my rhinoplasty with Jonathan Sykes on December 20, 2022, and he completely ruined my nose. Two years later, I had to fly all the way to Turkey for a revision because the damage was so bad. The Turkish surgeon told me I had internal bleeding and that, since Sykes did a closed rhinoplasty, there were pieces of bone scattered inside my nose where I couldn't even see them. My nose had to be entirely reconstructed, and the surgery took seven hours. He left my nose, extremely crooked, and my tip was drooping, which had a lot of irregularities and was sensitive to the touch even two years later. I trusted Dr. Sykes with my face, and he utterly failed. I would never recommend him to anyone. This was reckless, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. read more

Dr. Sykes did my facial feminization surgery in December and it was truly life changing. I feel like he saved my life. Before the surgery, since this was a revision, I needed to feel sure about every detail and I kept asking to see him. He didn't mind. He was incredibly patient with me and met with me 5 or 6 times to go over everything. I walked into that surgery and I knew everything will go well. One thing that is not usually mentioned--is how wonderful the clinic staff is especially George who worked hard to help me get my insurance approval for surgery. I genuinely appreciate him for making this possible. Also Mike--anesthesiologist, is a very caring person who made sure everything goes well during surgery and made sure I don't get sick after the procedure from anesthesia. After surgery when I looked into the mirror I had bruising and swelling , but my face looked amazing, and the recovery was very easy. It also means a lot to me that Dr Sykes is still in touch with me after surgery. He genuinely cares about his patients and how happy they are with their results. I'm very grateful, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is truly a loving person who is dedicated to his patients. read more

I decided to post an appointment about this thing called Sykes. This thing took a place many a while ago. Originally, I booked my appointment with Dr. Keener in Roseville, but unfortunately somehow Sykes was present during the surgery. After all the results were very bad and I ended up going to a different doctor and since then I've been through many surgeries because of nasal obstruction and breathing problem. I advise you not to go see him, especially if you're someone with an accent. He is a very prejudice and unprofessional thing. He would never give you a chance asking any questions or clarifications in the follow up appointment. You cannot even open your mouth asking anything. He is a complete insensitive.?He should not be practicing and should be disqualified from this career. read more

STAY AWAY! SYKES IS A HORRIBLE THING! After many years of my 1st nose reconstruction surgery, I'm still very bothered with the results and more with attitude of Sykes. We booked a consultation with Dr Kiener in Roseville office, who was a nice guy but surprisingly Sykes comes in during the surgery and then after! For me to discover how horrible he is with a very bad temper and bad attitude! If I knew from the beginning that he's going to be there I wouldn't proceed. To a point even remembering it, at this moment, would make me feel vomiting. You can't even open your mouth asking about the surgery results without him being mean and snappy! especially if you are someone with a foreign accent, I advise you to stay away from this horrible thing called Sykes! He's prejudice and very unqualified for practicing. The surgery results were terrible and had to suffer until now from it and from another stupid doctor after. I don't understand how Dr Kiener was partnering with him? I'm sure he sees all that! I don't believe that he's practicing in Beverly Hills! He should be banned! Stay away from this thing! read more

Jonathan Sykes is the best plastic surgeon. I am so impressed with him and his team . He is soo skilled and unbelievable with what he does . Where do I begin? Oh, I know, how about 'WOW!!!' I'm 58 and believe in aging gracefully but I didn't like looking so tired all the time. At my initial consultation, Dr Sykes listened attentively to my concerns and then he offered his suggestions....here's the WOW part....he has a unique ability to analyze a person's facial features and determine what needs to be done to create a very natural-looking end result - simply uncanny! So I went for it....all of it....and I'm over the moon with the results! I feel (and look!) refreshed, energized and decades younger. Dr Sykes and his staff were very professional and attentive throughout my plastic surgery journey. It's definitely a process (I'm only 14 weeks post-surgery as of posting this review) but well worth the wait and investment. My only suggestion for this type of procedure would be do it now, so you can enjoy it! TY-Dr. Sykes and Staff!! read more

I am so relieved I chose Dr Sykes for my complex surgery. Dr. Sykes performed a lower facelift, revision rhinoplasty, upper and lower eyelid, and a chin implant. My rhinoplasty revision was complex as I had defects from my previous rhinoplasty in 2007. I am very meticulous in regards to my looks as I also work in the aesthetic industry. I knew I needed to choose a true artist to work on my face to bring me results that were natural looking at perfect at every angle. From the moment I contacted Dr. Sykes's office, I was welcomed and felt like I was a part of the family by Maria, who was there to answer all of my questions through the whole process, Jess for my after care, Gabie for my OR care, and Shannon, who did my anesthesia. These girls alongside with Dr. Sykes are an absolute dream team. I could not have asked for more. My recovery was the best it could be with no bruising around my eyes or my nose. I was nervous that my nose would be difficult to achieve what I envisioned, but Dr. Sykes was spot on. He took the time to listen to my exact needs and wants and he delivered. It has been nine weeks since my surgery and I just received my final follow up visit from Dr. Sykes and I am thrilled. The results of my surgery are absolute perfection, and most of all it does not look like I have any work done at all. Thank you to Dr. Sykes and his team for stellar work. I have, and will continue to refer all of my clients and friends to this office for their facial surgical needs. read more

Dr. Jonathan Sykes is an excellent plastic surgeon. He and his team have been wonderful to work with. From the first call to his office, I've had nothing but the best care. His team made me feel like I was in good hands from the very beginning. I had surgery on my upper eyelids. Dr. Sykes and his team explained the procedure every step of the way and made me feel at ease and comfortable. The post-op care and instructions were clear and easy to understand. And the results have been amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Sykes and his team and will be referring all my family and friends. read more

Dr Sykes is WONDERFUL.     His attention to detail, communication pre-surgery and follow up post procedure was the best I have ever had.  The office team was exceptional both pre and post op!  The level in which the entire team kept me informed before my procedure and followed up after was a 10 out of 10.  It seems far too common to call Dr Sykes simply a "plastic surgeon". He is an Artist!!!  I absolutely love my Rhinoplasty & Upper Blepharoplasty. had revision few years ago . thinking my nose shape would improve overtime . unfortunately I am not happy with results . disappointed!!

I always knew I'd get a facelift one day. At the age of 50 it was time to get serious. I did plenty of research and consulted with 3 doctors. When I met with Dr. Sykes, he explained facial balance and recommended the procedures that would suit me best. I was happy with his suggestions and certain he was the right choice. I decided on a facelift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, temporal brow lift, chin implant, and rhinoplasty. The surgery went well and the recovery wasn't too painful. I was able to go into public in about 1 week and never bruised purple. My follow up appointments were easy and all staff were caring and helpful. Dr. Sykes also provided his cell phone number so I may call at any time with any concerns, which was greatly appreciate. And the final results? The entire surgery was a slam dunk! I couldn't be happier with my new look. The results are so natural and no one can tell I've had any work done. I'm truly amazed with Dr. Sykes ability to complete multiple procedures in one operation. He is an excellent surgeon. Going forward, I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Sykes. He knows how to keep me on the path of natural beauty, with his keen eye, when I can mistakenly veer toward overdone. He keeps my best interest in mind and is now my lifetime surgeon. Thank you Dr. Sykes. You are amazing! read more

Maria has gone above and beyond to make sure I have been satisfied with my surgery. Dr. Sykes and his entire team were amazing and considerate of my needs. They carefully explained everything and took extremely great care of me during the entire process! Dr. Sykes told me I would look 20 years younger after my surgery and I have received comments from people that I certainly do! Amazing experience with Dr. Sykes. Don't let anyone touch your face unless it's Dr. Sykes. He is so talented in his craft. I felt so comfortable letting him "study/observe" my face and allowed him to advising me what he recommended I should do. The consultation took about thirty mins or so. He explained in detail what he planned to do and the products he planned to use. He is precise, patient, honest and takes his time in making sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I had fillers injected along my jawline and his artist eye contoured my face. I am so happy with my results and his bed side manner. This was by far the best experience and results I imagined. I'm thankful for Jonathan Sykes who stands alone in his field of plastic surgery. My points of why he stands alone. First the obvious he worked hard to become a specialist in the field of plastic surgery. The next ones you don't or can't get from a text book No matter how hard one tries. Before I go any further let me add that to read my story in detail go to reviews on google. I interview many other surgeons over a time frame of 2 months. 3 of them would not take me. Too complicated of a rebuild. My reason for this search was I couldn't breathe through my nose. I suffered for 2 years of not being able to breathe properly because of fear. Fear of the complicated surgery it would require. It would not only be a major surgery but a RECONSTRUCTION of my nose from the previous surgery that had been done over 8 years before. My nose had collapse. Dr.Sykes was the only one, after my consult with him that I felt comfortable and confident with. He is talented beyond belief, a master of his field, caring and very important REACHABLE if you need him. My surgery was 150% success. Thank you Dr. Sykes for being you and loving what you do. Changing peoples lives. You certainly changed mine. I CAN BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE....freely. That's what I'm thankful for this holiday season! Merry Christmas everyone. You will be blessed to, if you choose this amazing doctor to change your life ....like he did mine! read more

After originally meeting with another doctor & about to settle with getting my rhinoplasty surgery, I had second thoughts & decided to meet Dr Sykes before making my decision. On the day of the surgery I felt very nervous. He made me feel at ease & and next thing you know it I was out of surgery. It went super quick and I felt great when I woke up. The recovery was smooth & he kept in contact with me the entire time, answered any questions or concerns I had. I am Almost 2 months post op & already In love with the look of my nose. He is in no doubt your number one choice. He's a true pro & I would operate with him and his team again without hesitation. read more

I feel so blessed to have met Dr. Johnathan Sykes. During my consultation, he made me feel so comfortable and did not push me to get any surgery. He explained the benefits of getting the surgery and allowed me space to think about the surgery. I had lived most of my life not even being aware that I had a deviated septum until I met him. I had a septorhinoplasty completed along with chin liposuction in July 2022. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Sykes' was kind, and loving, and showed immense patience. He truly has changed my life. Since correcting my deviated septum, I am able to breathe significantly better and have gone 6 months without any migraines! Not only did he improve my quality of life, but this is also the first time I feel beautiful in my skin. My nose looks completely natural and suits my face. The liposuction for my chin has healed and really helped balance my face. I healed very quickly and am SO happy with my results. Dr. Sykes changed my life and I would recommend him to anyone. I met Dr. Sykes when I accompanied a friend to a few consultations with local surgeons for a face lift. He stood out to both of us for his friendliness, his personable approach, and his perceptive feedback as to what would give the best results. My friend decided to have him do her procedure since he noticed the ptosis in her eyes and recommended she address that at the same time as her face lift. This impressed her as she already knew she would have to deal with that surgery eventually and no other surgeon brought that up despite the fact her eye droop was quite obvious. Watching her results over time, I also decided to have Dr. Sykes do my facelift. In addition to the facelift, he recommended I have my upper and lower eyes done which I have to say was a good call. I am now seven months post surgery and am very pleased with the overall results. And, believe it or not, I have yet one more friend who also decided to have Dr. Sykes do her procedure. He recommended in addition to a facelift (which is what she was consulting him for), her outcome would be more pleasing if she had her hairline lowered. Again, his eye was spot on. read more

I cannot explain how happy and fortunate I am to to have discovered Dr. Jonathan Sykes. At the age of 31 I finally decided that it was time to correct my nose. I had breathing issues and a hump that was noticeable. When looking for plastic surgeons I knew I had to go the very best. I am a male so I wanted my nose to look natural and masculine. I started looking at videos on "natural rhinoplasty" on YouTube. And that's where I found Dr. Jonathan Sykes. I watched multiple videos and looked at his before and after pictures on IG. I set up an appointment and I drove 4 hours to Beverly Hills, CA to see him. Ever since the moment I reached out for a consultation the staff have been absolutely amazing. Maria and Belinda and the whole team have been super tentative to me and my needs throughout the whole process. I was so surprised how quickly everything was set. They are professional and accommodating to their patients needs. After my consultation with Dr. Sykes I knew immediately that he was the one. He took his time with me and he listened to all my concerns. I did not even bother to look else where I knew he was the one. Having had watched all this videos and seen his work. I trusted him fully! On the day of the surgery the nurses were so nice and made sure I was taken care of. After my surgery Dr. Sykes called me to check up on me. I am now 5 weeks out and I am 100% satisfied with the results to far. He's truly an artist. It's my nose it fits perfectly it's the one I should of always had. I can't thank him and his staff enough! I had been wanting to have a rhinoplasty my entire life and when it came to choosing the right doctor for me I certainly did not take it lightly. I had been researching doctors in Beverly Hills for some time when Dr. Amron, whom I trust above all others, told me that Dr. Sykes would be taking patients at The Roxbury Institute in Beverly Hills I was absolutely thrilled because I had already been coming to the Institute and love the staff and facility. From our first phone consult all the way through my surgery and recovery, Dr. Sykes has always made me feel completely comfortable and confident in his abilities. We spoke at length about my expectations and what would work best for my particular face. When I came in for my surgery I was excited and what little fear I had was put to rest by Dr. Sykes and the incredible surgical staff. Dr. Sykes was constantly checking in after my surgery to make sure everything was OK which was so nice and something I had never experienced before. Needless to say, my nose is absolutely gorgeous. It is so much more than I had even imagined and so natural that not a single person has suspected that I had a procedure. The recovery time and pain was minimal. I am now almost 3 months post surgery and could not be happier. I can finally take photos without worrying if someone is taking my profile which I never allowed before my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Sykes and The Roxbury Institute. I will never go anywhere else! read more
