Yesterday was moving day for me. As a Realtors we deal daily with movers. We have been involved with hundreds of moves. While attending a Seminar I heard Jonah from Jonah's Movers speak sincerely about the quality of his company, how he paid his workers a little more to ensure those who worked for him were reliable and took pride in their work gained my attention. One of the things that concern me with whatever vendor I recommend is I not only want to have a good job done, but who are the people coming into your home. I do not take that responsibility lightly. There are vendors who will actually pay Realtors for a recommendation. Over the years I have put together a group of vendors who offer me nothing but excellent service to my clients. The same caring about their service to my clients as I give. Throughout my move The Jonah people worked quickly, quietly and efficiently. They packed with care including those items extremely fragile and special to me. An unexpected surprise is they found a locket given to my grand daughter and considered lost was brought to me by one of the men who found it. Moving leaves your things vulnerable. I recommend Jonah's movers without hesitation. Those who know me know I rarely recommend vendors unless I have had experienced a company who is excellent in the service they provide. We used Jonah's Movers this past week, to say they did a great job is an understatement. They worked hard and fast! Every piece of furniture was wrapped and protected and the truck was loaded strategically. I was extremely impressed with this moving service!! I HIGHLY recommend them. We are new to the area so I read reviews and chose this company and I am so happy with the results. Every individual I spoke with showed respect, professionalism, and they were very accommodating. Due to our storage building and the location (our unit was at the opposite end from the loading dock.) this was a very time consuming job. Jonah and his team are phenomenal! This was our first time to use professional movers and after reading the horror stories on the internet we were hesitant. Jonah answered all our questions and returned phone calls promptly. His professional and courteous demeanor put our worries to rest. On the day of the move Jonah and his helper arrived right on time and got right to work. Each piece of furniture was carefully wrapped in blankets or plastic wrap. Special attention was paid to how the items were packed into the truck to minimize shifting and damage. On arrival at our new residence our items were unloaded quickly and efficiently. The furniture and boxes were placed as close as possible to the unpacking locations. They even offered to help rearrange boxes after unloading to give us more room to move around! Of note- our move was in the mid-August heat and included about a 2 hour drive. The entire move- drive included- began at 8 AM and was completed by about 2:30 PM. We had several large heavy items including a fully loaded upright tool box and they were no obstacle for theses guys! Thank you for making our first big move a breeze! read more

I hired Jonah's Movers for my move on July 15, 2017. They did an excellent job! - They arrived 15 minutes early - They HUSTLED (they were literally jogging in the Texas heat in between loads) - They do not start the clock until they arrive (and they told me what time they were starting it) - They stop the clock when they're done, not when they get back to the office - They include wrapping furniture with plastic and/or blankets in the hourly price (and they wrapped my furniture very quickly) - They were careful; I only had one item get nicked during the move which was a win to me since I was coming from a 3rd floor apartment and have had items broken in similar moves before - They are competitively priced - They prorate the hours once you go beyond the minimum (some companies will charge you for 4 hours if you used 3.5 hours) Overall, my move was far less stressful because of them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality movers that aren't trying to charge you an arm and a leg. read more

These young men were an absolute pleasure to work with. From my first phone call to get a quote to them leaving the driveway of my new house - Jonah and his team were responsive, professional, courteous, their attitudes were spectacular, and most of all - they did what they said they were going to do. I had a large house full of heavy furniture - antique armoires, buffets, desks, 80 gal air compressor, etc - and the expected move time was 6-7 hours. Jonah and his team wasted no time during my move and were completely done in 5 hours! They did not cut any corners either; they wrapped all of my items with blankets and plastic wrap, and handled every item with care. They even had to make 2 trips to move all of my items and once everything was moved in, they helped to arrange the furniture and place the items were they belonged. We moved in September 2019. I waited to review Jonah's Movers because we had a handle that came off our wardrobe during the move. Jonah spent five months, tenaciously, working with the manufacturer to get a replacement, The first one that arrived was too short. Jonah kept me updated regarding his efforts. Finally, in March, he was able to attach the handle. The two trucks and team members arrived on time. They all were able to communicate well with us. There was an efficient, organized method to their efforts. They cover furniture with a blanket and then apply shrink-wrap. Every team member worked steady and hard. We were impressed with the whole process. We did pay more than our original quote but it was because of the amount of "stuff" we had and the time it took to care for all those items. Hiring these guys was the best decision I ever made! They were on time, loaded and unloaded all my items quickly with the utmost care and they were super-friendly! My move was estimated to take up to 5 hours and they completed it in THREE!! They wrapped my couch, tables and packed up my TV - everything was in perfect condition when they left our new place (and exactly where I needed the items to be). Jose and Davien were also very patient with my 4-year-old son who had a ton of questions...about everything they did...lol I really appreciated how everything was priced and how easy it was to guestimate how much I would owe. PHENOMENAL MOVERS These movers are exceptional! From the beginning of scheduling these movers kept me posted every step of the way. They were ON TIME when they said they would be at my several locations to move. They wrapped and handled all my belonging no matter how expensive or inexpensive and all the very heavy furniture I had (2 body builders moved previously) very gingerly. Both Jose and Alfredo were ALWAYS very courteous, always asked me my preferences and were a joy to be around. Last movers were also local but, were unavailable. I used Jonah's Movers back in November for my 1br to 1br move from Spring to Houston. I had my move booked very quickly after my initial quote request. They're up front about their pricing, so I liked that I knew what I was going to be paying and didn't have to worry about hidden fees, or anything like that. The movers, Jose and Andre, arrived to my apartment about 15 minutes early and did a walk through and explained how they would be handling the move. They worked quickly, efficiently, carefully, and were really nice guys. Absolutely nothing was damaged in the move and I would not hesitate to book these guys again for a future move. The other great reviews are not exaggerations. Everything from the quote to the actual move went flawlessly. Diana in the front office responded to my inquiry within a few hours and provided a very competitive quote and lots of helpful information. Jose and Alfredo showed up exactly on time on the day of the move. They moved about 1200 cu feet of household items in under 3 hours...amazing. It was raining off and on when they were loading so they wrapped all of the furniture with extra shrink wrap to ensure everything stayed dry. They did not scratch or damage a single item including the walls/floors of the home I was moving from. I have used Jonah's Movers twice. The first time was when I moved from Maryland to Texas. Jonah took personal care of my packed belongings in Maryland. Once they arrived in Texas, Jonah's Movers handled my items by unloading them very carefully. I recently moved again, and chose to hire Jonah's Movers for the second time as my number one choice. His crew came into my home covering and wrapping all items carefully. Everything was fully protected. They unloaded everything into the new home with complete success. This was day three of a complicated move out of large house in March and April Into a rental house for seven months and into newly built house ion The Woodlands yesterday. Since we downsized we had more Furniture than would fit into new house and the final portion of yesterday's move ended at the Public Storage facility by the Grand Parkway. Jonah gave us a very accurate estimate and the four men and two trucks were even more efficient than expected. The guys worked hard and fast- running boxes and furniture down a flight of stairs that we struggled to walk up and down. Awesome experience. Great communication from office and the movers were exceptional. They never slowed down! I've tried to cut corners in the past and always got burned because day labor or inexperienced crews took forever or damaged furniture. These guys were truly amazing and very efficient. It was cheaper than I could have gotten anywhere because of how quickly they worked. Don't skimp on number of guys or trucks. They all work extremely hard and are friendly. I've always had guys drag their feet in the past or need constant supervision. Here I knew my upfront hourly rate and the guys worked very hard for 9 hours with very short breaks. read more
