Be careful! Jon Wayne came to our house to look at our ring doorbell. They said the quote was free. Quoted me over $350 to get it ring louder. No thanks. Then tried to charge me $150 for the service call. Had to talk to the manager to get the charge removed. I believe they take advantage of their customers, especially those that don't deal with these types of issues well. read more

OMG Jon Wayne Service Company sent the two most professional, mannerly, clean plumbers to my house today. The job they did was excellent, quick, and completed and we barely knew they were here. San Antonio, TX Jon Wayne HVAC service 04/17/2024, The guy who came for annual maintenance did not do his job. He refused to drain the air conditioner, last step on the job, saying that he thinks I need a plumber due to air conditioner drains under the sink. He drained the line before the plumber started anything, and the sinks did not clog. Because the plumber came without been necessary, he dropped some crystal Clorox into the sinks just to justify the need of the plumber, of course for $200. Jon Wayne is not an honest company, pushes other unnecessary services just to charge the customers more money. read more

Zero star is more appropriate. We bought whole house emergency generator early December 2023.,approx.,$6,000?. Total installation costs just over $20,000. Annual APR 18%! Thats with a credit score that varies 830-850 consistently. Still waiting for "complete" installation, hopefully by end of Jan 2024.After the "complete" have to pay like $450.00 monthly payment. After 1 yr, whole amount is due. Locked in. We also took a contract out for home maintenance of Hvac, plumbing, electrical n paid for it. Supposed to give us priority service.NOT again. Wife called on main line pipe leak, homeowner side, to John Wayne. Saturday, Jan 13 for service as per contract. Line was busy continuosly. Then at 3:30 pm she STAYED ONLINE,phone, till 4pm. At 4pm it was Sorry we close at 4pm.!! WTF. WE are both elderly,he, 100% Permanent/ total US Marine. We took this contracts,BOTH of them, due to medical equipment that must remain on n He umable to perform maintenance n fix things like when we were both younger. We scheduled another company to restore water service but they couldnt come out until today,2 days later. A simple water line break at a T valve. No thanks to John Wayne. This extra repair cost us an additional $950.00!! Not a great MLK Day for us. SO... beware...if your elderly, or any disabled, especially a military veteran. We feel stupid n unfairly taken advantage of. Perhaps in hindsight just beware read contracts, ask LOTS of questions...talk to an attorney. We are about to. Live and learn. Steer clear of this company. I recently purchased and moved in my home less than a week ago, and just yesterday, I tried to use my HVAC system (for the first time) because it was freezing weather, and needless to say, it did not operate. The codes said the refrigerant was low and the coin cell battery needed replacement. I contacted Jon Wayne service company because they conducted a full quality inspection of the unit a little less than a month ago. The technician arrived the next day and checked the system, and to my surprise (not)...there was a problem with a sensor, that was not even coded, that could cost upward of a $1000.00 or more for repair. I explained I just moved in and never had used the heat system before. How could a system, that had not been used, go bad in less than a month after a full quality inspection...in which I was told (by the technician) worked perfectly fine. Total ripoff! I had no choice but to pay around $500.00 for basic repair, because I don't want my kids to freeze again like yesterday. read more

I have a contract with John Wayne, AC. I feel it was extremely misrepresented. I purchased an AC unit from them exactly to the month five years ago. They have serviced it regularly. I have maintained my monthly payment for the contract, I changed the filter as I was instructed once a year, I put vinegar in the unit every month as I was instructed. But about Pushing air. I thought that it was still under warranty, it's only five years old! They proceed to explain to me that they have no their units however because I have a monthly plan I pay for, but I would get 20% off of any work done today.! What?? The young man that came was extremely polite, professional, and and he explained everything clearly employees have always been exceptional, however, I guess it's Mr. Dan wrinkle the owner that I have a problem with. And I sent him an email, but I have not heard from anyone. I would expect, that someone who sold me an AC unit five years ago stand behind the product that they and not try to get more money out of their customers. The options that were offered to me from $513 to over $2000. I was also informed that I had been using the wrong filter, and that was because at the very first Maintenance visit of my unit, I was offered the filter at over $100! However, the technician was very kind and told me I could just go to Home Depot and buy the 25 x 16 x 4" for about 30 bucks and that's what I've been doing every year. But now, this technician was telling me that was incorrect and that unless they installed the filter whatever work they did now would not be under the warranty. I'm disabled, I live on Social Security, and I'm barely able to keep up the monthly payment on my contract and now they're telling me I have to come up with at least another $500! What do people like supposed to do? I have been without air-conditioning for five days, yes I called them 5 days before now it was 88 degrees in my home and I felt ill physically. I had to take out a loan. Don't trust them. read more

Working with JW has been a challenge. It's been two years since I updated our HVAC and I wish I had gone with a more service oriented company. In the onset, the initial conversations went well. As stated in other reviews, they are not the cheapest, but make persuasive argument. It all sounds great with them claiming nationally recognized name brand units and their own systems broken down by home size and efficiency. However, my troubles started immediately during install of the outdoor unit. The "name brand" units they claim are actually their own brand, AMERICA's PRIDE, and not the national brand they pitch with. I raised a concern and they said the unit was actually a national brand and they just replaced the brand logo with their own. That smelled fishy to me (bait and switch) and I called them on it. To make it right, they gave me a larger unit and said it was better for my home anyway. That's where part of my troubles began. i believe that it was too big for my home. The air in our home used to be über dry year-round. We even had to have humidifiers running at times because of it. Now, the inside humidity is on the opposite end of the spectrum with a 65% year-round average. It's almost 70% inside my home today, with outside humidity at 65%. As a result, mold is becoming an issue in my home, as I'm finding it in dark areas like in the toilet tanks and under my sinks. The expensive task of battling mold inside the home has begun. The second part of the issue is that every JW service call comes with a hefty charge, even if there's an issue with the unit. They have a subscription fee you can pay for discounts, but it's all expensive, regardless. So, in effect, they put in low-quality systems with extra parts and gadgets like short-lived UV bulbs and such, then hook you into requiring them to come out annually and pump you for $300-$500 annually. It's a racket. We called them to come out and look at our system because of high humidity, and regular maintenance. The guy that came out performed "maintenance" and changed the filter. But, when we brought up the humidity issue, which is why we called them, to begin with, he brushed it off. He said it couldn't be their system, and said it was dirty ducts, even though all the registers were clean. When I pressed with evidence that the system was the problem, he said we'd have to schedule another service call so some could come out and check the system. He said the system could be tweaked to drop the humidity. But, I'd have to pay for another service call. But, he said we should call in the Spring because the outdoor humidity will be lower, and will be better for testing the humidity indoors. Then, he tried to sell me a subscription for service. read more

Our A/C system froze up a couple of times (the basic freeze, turn it off for an hour or so and it starts working again). We called John Wayne out to come look at it even though it was working fine other than the two couple of freeze ups since we thought some maintenance would be beneficial. He said it was likely our filter, but then did the whole salesman speech on the laundry list of ways a new unit would be better, etc. We told him we were fine without one for now and would just replace the filter, but would consider a new unit down the road. Then he went back outside before he left and we went and ran an errand. He calls us and says "I don't know what I did, but all of a sudden your breaker won't stop flipping". Then when we get back 10 min later, our compressor (which was only 2 years old) is now grounded and fried to the point of not being fixable, so our entire system is dead. The only recourse the JWC tech offered was, in his words, he replaced the breaker "free of charge, because I'm not sure what I did there". And then pulled up his lengthy price sheet again. $3-5k to replace the compressor that was now fried, or $11-15k for a new unit. I had a expert with over 30 years in the business come out for a second opinion and he told me what happened to the system, and he was appalled that they did this to us. I attempted to escalate to JWC, but they offered zero in the way of assisting to make it right. Said not their fault, nothing they would do other than come out and give us price options to replace our system. Not sure if it was merely grossly negligent, or malicious and intentional, but I do know that our AC worked when they showed up, was completely dead by the time they left, and they offered nothing other than extremely expensive options to at least put me back in the position I was in when they got there. Would avoid at all costs unless you want employees to damage your systems, and the company deny it and tell you it is not their problem. They could have made it right at a negligible cost to their massive company, but instead left us to fend for ourselves. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Our AC went out and we hired them to come look at it on Friday. Three days after the initial call. Which is fine I suppose. The lady tells us she will call between 8AM-noon to let us know they are on the way. They call at 7:30 which is fine ?? But why say 8-noon and call 30 MINUTES BEFORE the time you stated??? I didn't hear the call as I had the alarm set for 8 AM AS I WAS TOLD. We paid for a yearly service agreement. In mid June they came and serviced our unit. Then a week later the air conditioner went down.We called them and they could not come down for a week. In 100 degrees temperatures it meant we had to check into a hotel for a week. Finally someone else said they could look at it before Jon Wayne so we called them. They said the coil unit was leaking freon and causing the system not to work and needed replacing. So we called Jon Wayne since we had a warranty with them. They said to replace and install was going to cost us over $2300 dollars. They came and replaced the coil unit. One week later the same problem happened again. This time they blamed it on the capacitors and charged me $700.00 to repair it. We had medical problems in the family and could not tolerate the heat so we had to paid them again. We went with Jon Wayne because 6 years ago they had replaced ourair conditioning system with a new one with a cost of over $10,000.In the process of replacing it they blow out the electrical system in the house and its cost was over $8000 dollars. I would not recommend any one else use this company. We finally bit the bullet and replaced our 20 year old system. Nothing but regrets in choosing this company. First, as several other reviewers have stated, they constantly try to upsell you on additional services. Today I noticed that my system seems to be constantly running at the same temperature all the time. I wasn't able to log-in through the site to check the schedule. When I called customer service I was informed it was because we did not renew our contract with them for service. So on top of the thousands we are paying for the system, these leeches want us to pay hundreds more a year in order to be able to access our own system!? I will be replacing their bottom of the line thermostat with something I own and control ASAP! The icing on the cake for me was during the winter storms when the power was out for days, every time the power was restored we had to wait 5 minutes for "surge protection", we couldn't even get emergency heat (which should be a crime!). So if we only got 5 minutes of power, we got nothing. People are freezing and there is nothing you could do about it. Do NOT buy from this business! read more

They sent an aggressive, high pressure salesman to try and persuade me to purchase a system with options, technical specifications or extended service plans that I don't want or need. Their "technicians" get paid off of commission and it shows. I spent a lot of money to have a new system installed by Jon Wayne for the downstairs of my home. It has been in my home for a little over 72 hours and this new unit has worked for less than 24. I am currently being told that it will be at least three or four days before their "24/7 service professionals" will be able to even come to my house and determine that they installed a unit with a busted compressor. I have never lived anywhere that had such a lack of reputable businesses to handle HVAC issues. It seems that all the companies here are working together to make pricing for their services less than transparent and prices artificially high. I suspect they are engaged in price gouging and market manipulation for this market. I will be bringing my concerns to the Texas AG read more

Never ever trust a repair company that pays their employees off commission. The more they sell you, the more they get paid. Which is the beginning of the problems we had with Jon Wayne. AC broke - that happens. They responded within 24 hours - dumb me, believed the trucks and TV commercials. But the technician oversold my wife $1200 in repairs. Which lasted a week (and my system is not old and we have it serviced regularly). I was home when the second crew came. They would not wear COVID masks until I asked. They spent an hour determining it was a switch in the inside unit - $2400 to repair. I asked how - said it was very labor intensive. Well, turns out the crew that installed that unit three years ago let me help (they were too busy to come the first time). The whole thing took 3 hours. Absolutely outrageous quote unless you remember they work on commission only. So I asked for replacement costs - basic system $7500 and top of the line was, drum roll, $21,000. I asked if it came with a new roof, they looked confused. And I sent them away. I'll put wet towels over fans and stay cool until I can get someone else here. If you missed it at the front of this review - NEVER trust a repair company that pays their employees off commission. They will mark up your service and sell you stuff you don't need. Fun fact - my wife is a realtor with one of the largest brokerages in the area. She has a good HVAC story for her clients now. read more

We had our first encounter with Jon Wayne -- and it will be our last. They advertise all over radio about their $29 service calls. So how come I paid $138 for a service call? I wish I had read these Yelp reviews before we paid for Jon Wayne to come out and check out our AC system. They sent out some guy who explained he'd be on the phone a lot while be was inspecting our system. I assume he actually did some sort of inspection. The guy was really more of a salesman than a service technician. He barely mentioned our system. Instead, he spent 90 percent of the time trying to sell us a bunch of junk we don't need. He could fix us up with everything we needed for only -- $7,000! He had other packages in the $4,000 range! They were all arranged on his iPad. He would go through the wonderful things he offered then he would press a magic button and the $7,000 price tag would appear. It was almost laughable. The Jon Wayne Service Company blankets the airwaves with commercials, recruits new customers, proved lousy or misleading services and tries to oversell. I doubt repeat customers are a high priority for old Jon. Get them in, try to oversell and dump them, seems to be the company motto. read more

What an awful dishonest company. I am a single mother and a Veteran that was almost suckered into brand new electrical panel for $3600. This is my first negative review of a company and I believe it is warranted. I called Jon Wayne Service Company because I was having issues with my dryer outlet. I just moved into a new house and I had just purchased a new washer dryer set and had the first dryer replaced because I thought it was the dryer. The second dryer came and wouldn't start so I figured the issue was electrical. My appointment was initially made for a Wednesday and that morning they called saying all of their techs were tied up with emergencies. So I rescheduled for Friday. Friday rolls around and the technician walks in. I explain the issue to Tony and he appeared helpful. My first clue to back away was when there was no testing done to the dryer outlet. He immediately went outside to panel stating "if there's an issue than you gotta go directly to the source". After a little bit he came inside with pictures showing me corrosion and another part that was "burnt out". At some point he asked me if my husband was going to need to be present during this. WHY DOES THAT MATTER? After he showed me the corrosion he went to work the numbers. He came back in stating that I needed an entire panel replacement. Which would cost $7000 for the premium or $4500 for the basic bronze series. If I wanted he could put a small bandaid on it and but that would last anywhere from 1 week to 5 years. I told him to just put the bandaid on and I'd deal with it. Once I said that he immediately went to work on his tablet taking things "off" to drop the price on the bronze series to $3600 and also wanted to note that they offer financing if need be. I initially accepted the $3600 deal. LUCKILY he rubbed me the wrong way so I stopped him before he started working and told him I was going to get a second opinion before I dropped $3600. He mentioned how their warranties were the best out there and to not let another company offer me a price for cheaper equipment. I had another electrician who came out, WITH TOOLS, and ran numerous tests on the dryer outlet. Everything was working properly and he went outside to panel. He came back in stating that the dryer switch was OFF and that all of the numbers he got on his meter were in normal range. He also stated that there was nothing wrong with my panel and there was some natural corrosion but it was in good working condition. He reconnected the outlet and turned the switch on and magically the dryer worked! $120 service call and my issue was fixed! When I called for an electrician I had no idea that I would be dealing with a slimy salesman that would try to scam me out of my hard earned money. It's sad and unfortunate that there are companies like this still out there operating and trying to take advantage of people. read more

I have to tell you my experience has been unacceptable. I am writing this review so people DO NOT USE this company. I ran into an issue with my AC (installed less than 3years ago, paid almost 7k for the basic system) leaking. So here's the issue. Jon Wayne visited my home to look at the system and here is what they found: 1- due to faulty work at install- the AC was leaking inside my entire home. The installer did not weld correctly the elbow inside causing may home to be exposed to FREON since the install in 2019. Leaking in a place no one would notice. Jon Wayne takes not responsibility as I, friends, parents, pets etc have been exposed to a hazardous chemicasl for over 3 years. 2- the repair tech had no clue and no people skills when dealing with customers. 1st tech came out, said the capacitor was bad, did nothing else and told me that it would be over $400 to replace this part. What a joke- After going back in forth with the office- I go the to reduce to $222. Here's the kicker- once he returned to install the capacitor , he realized it was leaking - which he did not catch before. If you say that they are and skilled tech- he was not. He didn't check and he didn't do his job. 2- Guess how much to repair- 2k. What a joke. BUT... if you buy into their rescue plan, they take off $500. Who's scamming who now. I feel sorry for people who believe them and pay this. The BEST part... the first tech never turned in the quote so the office was never informed of what he quoted me. A second tech came out and quoted $100 more than the first. I waited over a week for them to call me. 3- Year one- each time I ask for them to check the system (their required service during year one- THEY WOULD ALWAYS CANCEL or try to reschedule....blaming it on other jobs. I just gave up. 4- Office manager says SHE will call you back..But- I have called 2'xs and left messages with the person who'd answer- and apparently she's never received the message and or quote from first tech. I guess people's time is not important. Simply put- RUN- DO NOT CALL THEM! They are a scam and will over charge you. I called other companies who all came in 1k less than this company. Take my word for it.... and call your local small company AC and do not support this kinda of OVERHEAD that is charged to it consumers. read more

Time for an update. The previously installed system worked fine - for awhile. Then we had to replace the condenser unit. They had to come back a few days later, but it worked after that. That was five years ago. Recently, the unit started making a strange noise so they sent out a tech. He was either the dumbest or most dishonest tech they had. The problem was pretty obvious from the puddle of oil under the line coming out of the compressor unit. That took less than ten minutes to find and he charged $368. We could also see that the original repair had been done very poorly with a collection of various size fittings because they didn't have the single correct fitting needed. All these odd fittings were poorly cobbled together with soft plumbers solder rather than the silver solder blend that should have been used. It was an obvious workmanship issue and Jon Wayne refused to cover it under warranty. Because all the refrigerant had leaked out, I had to replace the compressor and you can be sure I didn't buy it from Jon Wayne. read more

I almost never take the time to write reviews on anything, however, this was the most GOD AWFUL experience I could have possibly had. Dylan Fischer came out and he was uncommunicative and a total salesman. I noticed one other review on Yelp mentioning a horrible experience someone had with him from several years ago and my experience was EXACTLY the same. I also noticed a manager who responded to the other poor review regarding Dylan and mentioned that sales tactics are prohibited at John Wayne and not how they do business. This is simply not true. Dylan took virtually no time to explain the issue I was experiencing or the cost/process to go about fixing it, instead, he talked my ear off with what could only be described as a rehearsed speech about why I needed to replace everything and how it would be more beneficial and FASTER to replace everything vs just repairing the problem. Dylan came into my home and I explained to him that my AC was not cooling. I showed him all of the gunk I was able to flush out of the drain pipe myself but that the issue still hadn't been resolved and that I only needed to have the problem diagnosed for today. He took nearly 2 hours to assess my entire unit inside and out. When I asked questions during his assessment, he told me "We'll discuss it when I'm finished." which I found extremely rude to be quite honest. Any genuine repair technician would gladly explain what it is they are looking at, point out a problem as they find it, and explain why that problem has occurred. None of that with Dylan. He finished his assessment and then told me he was going to put all of his supplies away and come back to talk to me about what he found. For 20 minutes, I waited for him to put his supplies away and come back inside to talk to me. 20 minutes of him sitting in his truck. Dylan finally came back inside with a disgustingly huge smile on his face as he told me that he had some bad news. He proceeded to tell me that I had a refrigerant leak in a very "unique" spot on my unit which "almost never happens". Because of this, he said it would be an extremely expensive issue to repair and that I would be better off replacing my entire HVAC system. I asked for a ballpark estimate on what "extremely expensive" meant to him and he refused to give any details. Instead, he rambled on about his 10+ years of experience and how his company is the ONLY company capable of doing the right thing when it comes to AC issues. I told him that with his 10+ years of experience, he should be able to give a rough estimate for the repairs that I would be needing. He finally told me that it could be anywhere from $2-5k. My absolute favorite part of the interaction I had to endure with Dylan was when he told me that due to the specific issue I was having with my unit, "It would be much faster to install an entirely new unit than to go through with repairing the current problem." I said, "Wow, how convenient." Absolute bullsh*t. To humor him, I asked for a ballpark estimate of what the cost would be for an entirely new unit since that was his oh-so-professional recommendation. He told me that in order to give any estimates on that cost, he would have to do an assessment of the entire system. This frustrated me even more since like I said, he already spent nearly 2 hours assessing the entire damn unit! But apparently, looking at my system for 2 hours to diagnose a problem and looking at my system for 2 hours to give an estimate for replacing everything are two very, very different things. I told him I was done and wanted to pay the stupid diagnostic fee and for him to leave. We did exactly that and he left. Not 5 minutes later, he called me to tell me that he forgot to turn my unit back on and offered to come back to do so. There was no way I was allowing him to come back into my home, so I chose to do it myself. When I went outside to plug the unit back in, I found a pile of screws sitting on the breaker box! Not only did he not plug my unit back in and turn it back on before leaving, he didn't even put the damn thing back together all the way! Completely unprofessional! The very next day, I had North East Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing Inc. come out and take a look at my unit. Charles was so kind and personable and took under 30 minutes to diagnose the problem I was having. He very patiently explained everything to me while showing me the issue so I could see everything for myself and then took a few minutes to gather information in order to provide me with several estimates and options. I received a call from his company about 30 minutes after Charles left my home and was told that he took the extra time to attempt a search for any warranty coverage and was able to find that my AC unit was still under freaking warranty! A concept that Dylan didn't even offer! He then quoted me under $2k for the total cost of repairs to fix the issue with my unit. I WILL NEVER TRUST JOHN WAYNE AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE. read more

Over a year ago, I had a leak in the ground outside my home. We foolishly paid Jon Wayne to fix the leak but also added a new spigot to the plumbing. I didn't ask for a new spigot (which has their name/logo and an aerator) and mentioned this to the tech, who told me it was free (it wasn't free - it is factored into the supply fee)! Lesson learned, and the next time I had a plumbing issue, I called someone else. However, the one thing we cannot get over is that this free new spigot sprays every time it is turned off. Not just a little spray, a HUGE spray, soaking anyone close to the faucet. See for yourself in the video - I made sure not to cuss #JonWayne out on video but rest assured, every time we use that faucet, they get an earful. #JonWayneFail #JonWayneReview Video on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/screamingchickensmom/videos/293223450441559 We reached out to Jon Wayne for services prior to this repair and you no-showed on us twice, Don R. wrote us a lovely apology letter so we decided to give Jon Wayne a second chance. At this point, my husband doesn't want any employee of Jon Wayne stepping on our property ever again. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service! The Rescue Membership Plan is a joke! Not respectful of time taken off of work for scheduled repairs. Paying monthly for front of the line 24 hour emergency service is a waste of money. Will never purchase another piece of equipment or service from this company ever again. Don't waste your time or money purchasing Rescue Membership Plan, you will end up waiting in the order your call for assistance was received which usually takes 2-3 days after you call needing assistance. You will not receive service or repairs to your HVAC system any quicker than anyone else with or without a Rescue Membership Plan. Third time in year we had to call to get a service tech due to system not cooling in 100 degrees plus temperatures just to be rescheduled multiple times, having to miss work for hours at a time each time, only to be told due to techs working other jobs and wouldn't be available for the time slot we were scheduled for. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time and money on Jon Wayne products, equipment, or service plans. read more

Extremely disappointed with Noe Garcia and Jon Wayne. What was a routine maintenance check through our service plan turned into a deceptive sales pitch to my wife for a complete new system. Claims of mold throughout the system to include the duct work was confirmed to be untrue by two other reputable companies today. The packages offered by Noe included plumbing rescue and other memberships that weren't requested, explained or separately priced. Unnecessary duct replacement for 8 vents for $7,995, cleaning of same ducts for $5K. Cheapest package offered was $24K with the highest at $30K. INSANE!!! We have been with Jon Wayne for almost 20 years but they lost a customer yesterday. We will be canceling our maintenance plan and purchasing a new unit from another company. read more

After my last review I received a phone call from Mike in the scheduling department wanting to make things right. The only plumbing issue we had at that time was our bathroom sink faucet needed to be replaced as it was dripping. My husband had already bought the faucet he just hadn't replaced it yet. So we scheduled a plumber to come out to replace the faucet. My husband bought a second faucet so both sinks match. Received a call saying the plumber was available earlier then scheduled time and would it be okay for him to arrive earlier. Yes. Bobby, who by the way is the best Plumber on earth, asked what needs to be done, I showed him and an hour & half later he was done. He also fixed a toilet. I would have given 3 1/2 stars but it's not an option. I'm still a little upset with Jon Wayne Service Company but I'm no longer outraged by them. read more

Jon Wayne has really changed over the past 6 to 8 years. They used to be much more service oriented. We were happy with what they provided. This last year things have changed. We had one of their service techs out to check on a sensor to a leak detection system. It was a simple job that required a simple solution. The technician reported that our kitchen faucet had a leak, it did not. It was as dry as a bone. There was no leak anywhere. The service tech tried his best to sell us a new faucet. The price of the new water faucet was $7000.00! Then when we didn't jump at that offer there was another level below that at $5000.00, then another level below that was $3000.00. We said no to all of it. They keep trying to talk us into making an appointment so they can come out and "inspect" things. We continue to say no. While on the phone with them today, the customer service was not concerned about our being very displeased with their upselling. We have been members, for a number of years now of their "Rescue Club". Our water system is their system. We are not going to tolerate their upselling as a way to extract money from us. This company is no longer a good company. They are such a disappointment. We will NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

NOTHING BUT REGRET. I bought a mini-split from them because word was they were the best. However, their pricing has turned out to be the most expensive. In the cold weather the heat does not work because it freezes and if you call in for help it takes them days to get to you, so it defeats the purpose of you getting the unit to begin with because you have to end up finding a different way to stay warm. The following year, I had an HVAC system put in by a better company and asked if they could move the mini-split to my one-bedroom apartment that is in the same lot. Their fee was $4000 so move the unit less than 200 feet. Again, I hired another company to move it for me, which also comes with a warranty and charges $800 to move it. Now unfortunately, I lost the remote - I called in to see if I could have it replaced. They told me that I had to set an appointment, with a large window for their arrival, which would make me miss time from work. When I inquired why it would take all of that, she said they needed the model number. I asked if they had records of what they sold to me? She said yes and then said she would call me right back. When she called back she confirmed they did have all my information, and it would cost $749 to replace the remote to the mini split. I think the people at this company have lost their minds. I replaced the remote for $25 and it works perfectly. I recommend you not use his company, do some research, and get yourself a better deal with the warranty and reliability that outperforms them because they are out there. Unfortunately, i had to learn the hard way. Good luck to anyone who decides to use them. read more

I certainly wish we could get this type of service. We are sitting without a/c right now and have been without a/c twice a year since they installed our brand new system. We pay $55 a month for priority service but I guess everyone pays for the priority service cause we still have to wait days for them to come out and fix the A/C! They said without the membership fee you have to wait til 6/22! I asked if we could use another company to fix it and get reimbursed but they said NO? Soooooo hotttttt! My poor doggie and kiddos! If I did not have priority service we would have paid thousands and thousands of dollars for all those MAJOR repairs and service calls read more

We called because our AC was constantly running and not cooling. They arrived in time, found all kinds of things wrong with our system and recommended replacement. The techs arrived in schedule (5-6 techs) and spent the whole day sealing the lines, replaced both furnace and AC unit and other minor things all for $16k. The new system works great and we keep it set to 80 because 79 is too cold. After reading the reviews I wonder if we did the right thing. read more

Within 24 hrs of contacting the original salesperson I received a phone call from the manager who sent someone out immediately. This is what was explain to me, 1) yes you can control the air and other through your phone but we also 2) monitor the system, like an alarm company. So if something goes wrong someone comes out within the hour or less. This service costs $5 a month. Not the answer I wanted, but I understood. I do believe their should be a free option without the monitoring. I still give this company a 5 star because of the amazing costumer service. It's just beyond what I always expect for them read more

If you want to be overcharged, then sit through a sales pitch, these are your guys! Seems like technicians get commission, which is never a good model for honesty. We paid $1000 to fill up Freon and it was Not full (we stoped him from continuing). Obviously shocked, told because we have an older A/C unit. FYI....our house is 6 years old. Called 2 other companies to see what they would have charged and were half the price. Will NEVER use these people again. I would advise anyone to shop around first. read more

Here we are with NO A/C working, try calling Jon Wayne for emergency service and no luck. Monthly paying for a service plan, and being a customer a few years, and getting a unit that is approximately 2 years since we bought it from them, but not able to receive emergency service. Really, NO EMERGENCY SERVICE, specially in Texas weather? I guess that is good to take people's hard earn money, but difficult to receive service when you need it. read more
