Authentic Italian Cold Cuts - no cheese no tomato for me
Jenna M.

SO FRESH SO GOOD. Stopped in here to get a quick sub and was very impressed with the food and service. I love a good classic Italian, and this is everything you'd want and more. Bread is made fresh daily and sliced to order? Say no more. Worth the trip over to Jon Smiths!!

Never ever order with DoorDash. Do pickup! This was my first time trying the place. I'm not reviewing DoorDash so this is for my food. I got the food over an hour after ordering. The fries were ice cold and soggy. The Reuben needed help. I put everything in the oven and voila I turned it around. I loved the skinny crispy fries. They did crisp right up in the oven yay! The Reuben was ok. The bread got cold and hard. After the oven it got harder. Not a lot of meat. I did enjoy the flavor. I'm on the fence about this place.

All sandwiches took a while because they made them fresh to our order. Probably 10 min. Colton served us and he had it under control. He walked around after to ensure everything was as we liked it. The ingredients were freshly chopped and grilled to order. This is a big step up from subway but just a hair more expensive. It's worth it. Fries were touted as the best. They were good but probably same as a few other chains. Must go in Florida.

Authentic Italian Cold Cuts Steak And Cheese With Onions

I was recommended this place by a friend. I was not disappointed. We ordered the steak and cheese sandwich and the Italian cold cuts sandwich. I would highly recommend the Italian cold cuts, it was fantastic. The steak and cheese could have used some more flavor. French fries very good. Overall, good. We would be back!

Maybe it's a good thing that you won't find it on the chain's website. It's such an unchain store for this brand: Extremely clean, sandwiches that actually look something more like, oh, the photos. The fries? They make 'em fresh, so even if you come to pick up an order, plan to wait 3 minutes for your batch. They claim they're better than the Golden Arches. (They're right.)

We saw meatloaf, chicken piccata, lasagna, ribs, I mean I can go on and on. They also have a market to buy other goods. My one complaint is the staff. The guy who made our sandwiches was so polite, but he was the only one. The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. Will I still come if in the area, probably but I'll give them the same energy they give their customers!

So the dirty water gun was soaking in water that he was about to pour into people's glasses. I almost threw up. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies. I hate to leave this negative review but am doing so in the hopes that they clean up, because we really love Carmines.

I understand the hype! I DO!…read more Ordered my sandwich for pick up and it was ready in under 10mins even with a huge line. I got the Italian and babbbbyyyy I get it, I do!!! It was soo packed with flavor, the bread was soft too!!! also got an Arnold Palmer iced tea made in house, delicious as well. The sammich had a great amount of everything. It was filling 10/10 across the board, will visit again next time I in town. I do wish they opened at 10am instead lol

This place is absolutely incredible--easily a 10/10 experience across the board…read more Food: We ordered the beef carpaccio and a turkey club (no bacon, sauce on the side). While raw dishes aren't usually my preference, I can still appreciate quality--and the person I was with said the carpaccio was a perfect 10/10 and clearly a standout for a reason. The turkey club, though, completely stole the show for me. It was hands down the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh--the meat was thinly sliced and flavorful, the bread tasted freshly baked, and the vegetables were crisp, clean, and vibrant. You can tell the sauces are house-made and thoughtfully crafted--they elevate everything. Sandwiches range around $17-$17.25 and again, are absolutely worth every penny. I've also heard the chips are made in-house (trying those next time), and I did try the chocolate chip cookie--it was very good and the perfect sweet finish. Service: The staff was amazing. Even with how busy it stays, they were patient, accommodating, and genuinely kind. You never feel rushed, and they take the time to get your order just right. Ambience: It's a very small, window-style spot with no traditional seating, but honestly, it doesn't need it. The focus is entirely on the food, and it speaks for itself. It's impressive how such high-quality, beautifully made sandwiches come out of such a modest space. Food takes about 15 minutes to make, fyi. This place is busy for a reason. Every bite proves it's worth it. If you haven't tried it yet, it's an absolute must.

We ordered a Margherita pizza with mushrooms and sausage, fresh mozzarella, and basil. The crust was delicious but failed the fold test. Frankly, I don't give a damn . It was so good I even ate my girlfriend's crust! The sauce was thick and balanced, the toppings plentiful and fresh. We both looked at the last slices and after deciding to take them home, we instead couldn't resist and ate them. Very reasonably priced, under $20.

I just want to touch base about my most recent visit to Lenora's. I've been to this location about three times. This is the location on Dixie Highway. They have open air seating, which is really nice on most evenings. This particular evening we arrived about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close more like 35 minutes before they were scheduled to close at 10 PM. It was a Friday night. We ordered a pizza and the rigatoni with mushrooms and cream sauce and I wanted to add a piece of salmon to it. After we sat down, my boyfriend's pizza came out in about seven minutes maximum. It was piping hot. The cheese was kind of sloppy and all over the place. It didn't really look like it was made with love. But he said it was good. My food however, took about 20 to 25 minutes longer than his pizza did. He was done eating his entire pizza before my food came out. That's never a good situation. They could've at least warned us of that, or let us know that that would be the case if they didn't realize it until they started making the food. There were only two other tables there. Once my food did come out, the salmon that I added for protein was almost $15. Obscene! I could get almost 3 pounds of salmon for that amount. It was maybe a 6 ounce piece maybe. And when they brought it out, it was raw in the middle. So I had to send it back and that was not met with a positive attitude, even though we brought up the issue with a very positive attitude despite having to wait almost 30 minutes for me to even get my food after my boyfriend had finished his pizza. They brought the salmon back and when they returned it, the employee was very pleasant and asked if I wanted to check it first. I ended up eating half of the pasta and packing the rest up to take home because by this time it was a few minutes after 10 o'clock and we didn't want to sit there as the only table left when we knew that they were obviously ready for closing time. One thing I must say is that I think divine intervention kept me in a great mood because they played my favorite journey song, they played my favorite song of all time, which is Tears for Fears. Everybody wants to rule the world, and then they played Bob Seger, who is definitely the artist who would've been my boyfriend or at least my celebrity crush had I've been born a few years earlier. Anyway, that's me giving it to you Straight No Chaser. Enjoy!
