I'm also certain a lesser home inspector wouldn't have caught most of it (errors in previous structural repairs, poorly wired electrical systems, hidden leaks, lead paint, etc). Yes, it's behind really tall bushes on the 2nd floor, but it should have been caught. My husband was there when the inspection took place. I have a nest of baby birds living in there and they are really loud and their parents are flying in and out of the side of my house. I will continue to update this review. Original review: I was given multiple inspectors to choose from and Jason Lovelace was the only one that had a Yelp presence and since it was so outstanding, I felt confident in choosing him. He was easy to reach, responsive and communicated via text, which is helpful in these modern times. Here is what you need to know to determine if Jason Lovelace is the inspector for you: Inspection cost: $425 The roof was not inspected. It was "inspected from the ground only" (and the roof did have an issue and a roofer had to come out.) I feel this should have been disclosed before we hired him as our inspector. The air conditioner can not be tested if the temperature outside is below 65 degrees The inspection lasted no less than 3 hours for a 2900 sq ft home The report was very detailed and included tons of accompanying pictures. The inspector does not cover anything related to termites.

Worse still, their plumber didn't follow code by overstretching water hoses under the sinks, causing a valve to leak in an under-counter hot water heater. Designer Wholelsale (Capital Construction) also offered us some flexibility up front by letting us put down a deposit for our granite slab and then starting the project a couple months later. Designer Wholesale had everything we needed for our project (granite counter tops, sinks, etc.) and offered a great selection. Communications with the Project Manager, Owner, etc. was exceptional. We'd even asked for our project to include a few extras which included installing new attic stairs, new faucets, replacing a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling, and repairing some loosely-fitting light fixtures. Justin, Wes, Phil, and the others went above and beyond by pointing out a couple of underlying electrical issues (bad boxes and supports) and a leaky garbage disposal which needed to be addressed. Not only were these extras pointed out, but the team fixed them at a very reasonable cost. This company truly is a, "one stop shop" for a homeowner's project/contractor needs. My wife and I will definitely use them again when it's time to do other major home renovations in the future. Great job!
