This place just opened in Henderson. They have a reputation for having one of the best fried chicken. I've been patiently waiting to try it and today my time has come. I ordered a 6 pack bucket of chicken with 2 of them spicy. Yes you can split up your order like that to get as many or fewer spicy chicken as you want. I also tried to order a hotdog but since they just opened this location they didn't have all their stock in. I also ordered the mango and peach pie. One word to describe the chicken. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Ok that's 2 words but it's in my top 2 most favorite fried chicken. The breading is super crispy without being too much. The chicken is just incredibly juicy. The spicy chicken wasn't that spicy but had just enough. The chicken didn't have a ton of spices on it which is nice because the chicken was the star of the show and it did not disappoint. My order came with a little bowl of brown gravy. The gravy was ok. I dipped pieces of chicken in it. The gravy taste like the powder stuff you get at the store. I wanted to give this place a fair chance so when my bf and I left Seafood city- I convinced him to try Jollibee because he is a connoisseur of Korean fried chicken. It looks like I'll be in the dog house for a minute after this one. When pulling into the drive thru, the order taker was impatient with a bit of a tude. Knowing I was not a fan of their spaghetti from my previous experience I took a minute to peruse the menu and settled on their chicken tenders and the one thing I know I love- their pie. We were advised to pull around because our food would take about 7 minutes- no big, we anxiously and hungrily awaited our food. When it came, we dove in and immediately the chicken tasted off. I chalked it up to maybe bad oil and ate about two tenders because I was starving. My bf didn't love the sauce or the chicken and wanted to wait until we got home to use bbq with his. He was also pretty peeved at the two bites of Mac and cheese he got with his meal. I'll never hear the end of "we shoulda gone to KFC." While preparing to leave we looked for the pies and noticed they were missing. I went in to grab them and noticed half the staff were in the side office celebrating what I assume was a birthday with cake. The front counter girl had a line and looked a little distressed waiting. 3 people made eye contact with me that were walking by and ignored me and finally a younger guy came to my pie rescue and apologized. All was good as I hopped into my car and headed home- until about an hour later when a world war erupted in my stomach. Massive cramping and abdominal upset so bad you'd think there was a fog horn in my backyard. Then came the bathroom trips. I thought maybe it was just the start of a bad girl summer out here with this non winter weather until my bf took up living in the guest bathroom and has lived there for two days. Service could do better! I placed an order on 1.5.2025 in the drive thru. They asked me park in the front which I did due to my food taking a little more time. I waited 25 minutes in the front and during this time 7 different workers approached my car with the wrong order. As I kindly declined the orders, not once did the manager of the store come out to rectify the situation or come up with a solution. As they finally brought my order out, they still did not provide all the items on my receipt. Then instead of an apology the response I get was the cashier did not ring it up. (Rain, the cashier) read my order back to me three (3) times! How is this my fault. Why are we throwing blame on the customer? I paid for my food in full and all I needed was my order complete and in a timely manner. Although the food is good, service was not as expected. The employees were very kind and packed everything nicely including utensils. I ordered a 6pc half spicy half original bucket and a solo palabok. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and definitely JUICY. I give it a solid 4.5/5 for fried chicken! The spicy is especially good with the gravy. For those that are new and curious about Jollibee, this is the McDonald's of the Philippines and they have tons of locations around the world and across the United States. It's nice to see more Filipino restaurants in this area. I've lived in Vegas/Henderson for over 20 years and some will be surprised that this area of Henderson has quite a few Filipinos and Asians living in this area. That also went to Foothill and Coronado High School, even back in 2000. I've had Jollibee in California and the other locations in Vegas over the last 15ish years. If it's your first time I recommend trying: * The Chicken Joy (spicy or non spicy, the spicy is maybe a 5/10) -- some say they like it better than Popeyes, and it is spicier than Popeyes My bf is a huge fan of their spicy chicken. * The Chicken sandwich -- it is smaller than Popeyes version, but the chicken is thick, crunchy on outside and the spicy sauce is not too spicy, I'd order it again over the non spicy. * The Pies -- mango and Ube (it's like Taro) both are delish. * Spaghetti-- this is Filipino style spaghetti -- so it has a sweet taste to it, hot dog and cheese. * Palabok -- traditional Filipino noodle dish * The burgers, I actually liked the Aloha burger (with pineapple, I'm from Hawai'i and normally these pineapple on savory items are odd, Hawaii people and Hawaiians don't normally eat this lol ;-) There is some Hawai'i influence here but the origins of Jollibee is from the Philippines. I've only been to this location a couple of times. My go-to item is their palabok fiesta with Chickenjoy and pineapple juice. One time, I was here in the morning and was hoping to order from their breakfast menu. However, the employee informed me that they're not currently serving breakfast. She didn't say, but I think it was discontinued due to the COVID pandemic. Hopefully, the breakfast menu will eventually return. The employees that I've interacted with have always been nice and friendly. The quality and taste of their food has been good and on par with any Jollibee location. They ripped us off of the food charge. I want the 10 pieces family special with large palabok and 3 pies included. The lady said we don't have 12 pieces special only 10. Ok!!! The charge me for 2 additional pieces right?!!! What she did was charge (2) 6 pieces chicken only, charged me for one palabok and charged me 2 pies. All separate and total was $65 !!!!!! This morning i ordered at drive thru I politely asked YURI at the window if i can add something after she took my order. She should've just said NO but instead she tried getting my order again. But I was craving for the spicy chickenjoy and there was none. However, the original chickenjoy still does the job, crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. And dont forget the gravy! This was my first time trying Jollibees, we just moved here from Dallas where it was insanely popular, but we never had the chance to try it before we moved. Since we were noobs, the server at the drive-thru was really helpful. We ended up getting the 6 piece chickenjoy (spicy), spaghetti, mango pie, ube pie, and pineapple drink. Food came out super fast, like literally as my receipt was printing. Got it to go, but everything was still hot when we got home. Chicken- the spice was spot on, really spicy but not too spicy. It was my first time eating it with gravy. Not sure if I was supposed to do this, but I dunked the chicken in the gravy and it was awesome. Spaghetti - pretty sweet and interesting. Kinda like how my grandma used to make it actually. She'd use condensed tomato soup lol. My favorite thing was the mango peach pie. The crispy fried exterior was perfect and the filling was sweet but not too sweet. The Ube pie was also good, creamy, but personally I prefer the mango one. The pineapple juice was exactly that - pineapple juice like you'd get out of a can. It wasn't anything special, but it went well with the meal. All in all - I'm a fan. This location seemed nice. I have never tried Jollibee before and decided to give it a try for dinner. This location is next to a seafood city, so there is tons of parking available. It was a little bit busy when I arrived but nothing crazy. I went through the drive through and it was moving fast. From what I could tell all the staff were wearing masks and following covid guidelines. There were a lot of items on the menu to choose from and I want with the family meal B. It came with 6 piece chicken (spicy or original), large spaghetti, and three mango peach pies. The total came to $30. [Food] The chicken was amazing! Extremely crispy and tender. I got half spicy and half original chicken. The spicy chicken was definitely spicy. I didn't expect it to have such a kick! If you like spicy it will not disappoint. The spaghetti was also great. However, it is not like traditional spaghetti where it is savory. This spaghetti was sweet! It was the first time I had spaghetti prepared that way and it was delicious. The mango peach pies are to die for! They are insanely good. One of the best pies I've had from a fast food joint. The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the price. After talking up Jollibee as being great, we stopped and ordered almost $60 worth of food. We had to wait seven minutes for chicken tenders, only to get home and find that the chicken tenders never made it into the bag. The fries were cold and barely cooked, however, we notice before we got out of the parking lot and went back in to have them remade, the new fries we received were hot and barely cooked, after I explicitly asked twice to cook them longer and make them crispy. When I called to complain, the manager treated me as if I were lying about four dollars worth of chicken tenders, and had to open an investigation to include reviewing the CCT footage to validate my claim. I am unsure if I were ever go to this restaurant again, and unless you're true, die hard Jollibees fans who will go no matter what, I would stay away. read more

I decided to go inside instead of the drive thru as it was my first time and wanted to get a good look at the menu. I ordered the 3 piece chicken joy which came with 2 sides. I chose the mashed potatoes and adobo rice. Of course the adobo rice was an extra $1.25. I also ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich. The 3 piece chicken and sides came out in a few minutes. I waited another 5 mins while several people behind me and in the drive thru all got their food. I asked what they were waiting on she said the chicken sandwich. Another 5 mins goes by with my food getting cold and still no sandwich. I asked a different person what was going on and she said she would check. Well they never made it. So I had to wait another 5 mins, 15 total for the chicken sandwich. Even for fast food the quality and taste were not good. The mashed potatoes were worse than being out of a box, very dry. The mango pie were good but it could use more pieces of fruit inside. It was pricey for the 10pcs, 5 sides and 5 pies. Almost $40 which is on the higher side of the competition. The sandwiches were totally affordable and the deluxe had some funky lettuce so I'd only get the normal style. It's a little sweet, but I think that's what Jollibee is known for. I don't really get anything else. In terms of this location, I've only used the drive thru. If you go during peak hours, like during lunch or around 5-6pm, the traffic can be a bit heavy. However, I usually don't go during those times, and I literally drive right into the drive thru lane and drive right out. My wait time usually 5 minutes or less. This is a new Jollibee location in Henderson that's situated right in front of Seafood City. I am glad that this location opened, closer to our home. It's very clean and it's bigger than the ones in Maryland Pkwy by UNLV and Summerlin. The staff members are very friendly and patient and even deliver online ordered food to you in your car. The food is on pointe and it always gives a nostalgic taste in each bite of any dishes that we purchase. It's like visiting Grandma's house again.
