Listen. We ordered a spicy, and it it was amazing. The seasoning was through and through. I would have loved more crunch. But, I guess the rumors are true. They have the best fried chicken. KFC and Popeyes does not taste this good, comparedto this.

We came here to pick up a bucket of chicken and try some of their pies. It's a busy place. We were in line for about a dozen customers to order, then waited a while to get food. Many people like their food. This was 1st time in this location. I would come back again if I am hungry for their chicken, but I will try avoid going there during dinner time. Overall, a clean store. I recommend this place if you want fried chicken that's different from Popeyes or KFC.
Wish the location would be a little cleaner and neater. Food came out great and just as expected. We got here a little bit before the lunch rush, so glad that we didn't have to wait as long as some other customers do.
I love jollibee! Philippines is def better lol. However this location is clean. Food was great. Spicy Chicken was spicier than I remember. The guava quench was sooo good. Def a must try! Bathrooms were clean as well. Service was fast. Food came out hot.
Jollibees is a delicious fried chicken spot. My favorite to go for fried chicken! The chicken is always flavorful and juicy. I usually get the spicy chicken. Pairs great with the gravy they give you. Everything is seasoned perfectly. Establishment itself is always clean and sunny inside. Unfortunate that it is located on the side of route with a small parking lot-can get packed sometimes. Overall really great and enjoy coming here regularly.
Ive been to this location before the first year it opened and even vlogged it before it opened because I was so excited. So today I went because I wanted to try the katseye meal. The place was well kept and not busy. I see the poster and cardboard cutout of katseye as part of decor. I ask cashier if the katseye meal is available and she doesn't seem to be familiar with it, i then point point out poster (to be fair poster pointing opposite). She then says she is new to job, she then asks coworker about it and she seems to know it and I also realize katseye promotion is also on their menu board. I requested fries as a side item. The order is take out and only after leaving I realize they gave me 2 biscuits instead. I do not recommend biscuits, chicken ok, juicy and nice Korean bbq taste. Ambiance 9/10 Service 4/10 Katseye meal 4/10
Not my favorite Jollibee but I like that they are expanding and building more locations. The staff was very nice, especially the young lady who prepared my order. I also liked that the tables were cleared and cleaned expeditiously. Customer service was way better here than my favorite location in Jersey City. However, now onto the not-so-good parts, the place was smaller and more crammed together. The food was just ok. The chicken wasn't as crispy and crunchy as I'd like. And lastly, which really isn't THAT important, there was no huggable Jollibee on site.
Although I did enjoy my food from here, I did not enjoy the cleanliness of the restaurant. We arrived Friday after work, so it was a bit busy. But we were uncomfortable about the sticky seats and tables. We ended up wiping it down with hand sanitizer. But we did enjoy our meal though
I don't eat fried chicken too often but this place is definitely a great spot to eat FRESH fried chicken that doesn't just taste like Lawrys Season salt. This is super crunchy. They serve only dark meat (thighs and legs) It comes in regular or spicy and I loved the flavor with the spicy pieces. The sides are good! I got mash and gravy, which the gravy also doubles as a dipping sauce for the chicken. We did drive-thru so they seem nice. Next time I will try their famous spaghetti ***Do not forget to get the Mango or Peach pie for dessert***

AS GOOD AS ANY LOCATION OUT THERE ---- meaning that the Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti and Peach Mango pie is as good as advertised here as it is anywhere I've ever had it. I was introduced to Jollibee, by my myriad of Filipino friends, when the popular fast food chain opened their very first U.S. East Coast location in Queens, NY in 2009, and, quite frankly, my life has not been the same since! The Chickenjoy is still some of the best fried chicken I've ever had - super crunchy, flavorful, hot and, when dipped into their gravy, oooooohhhh sooo damn good. We dropped in to eat at this Jollibee location on what we thought was going to be a relatively quiet early Thursday evening at 6pm. If you know Jollibee, then YOU KNOW, there is no such thing as a quiet time during peak dining hours any day of the week. Wherever there is a Jollibee, there will be plenty of customers (predominantly Filipino because they truly hold Jollibee near and dear to their fast food hearts). Fortunately for us, we happened to have strolled in just before the kitchen really kicked into high gear as we were the lone diners inside for a whole 3-4 minutes before, I guess, the Jollibee loving world became hungry. At this location, we had ourselves a feast comprised of a 6 piece bucket of Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, a Bacon and Cheese Chicken Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes, a Peach Mango Pie and a few Pineapple Quenchers. I can pretty much easily sum up all of it in one word -- SUPERB. The only thing I had never tried before was the sandwich and it was good. Great? Not on Popeyes level, but solid. The true star of the show was obviously the Chickenjoy and gravy. And don't forget to grab the refreshing Pineapple Quencher to wash it all down. As for this location, I found it to be on par with the standalone locations I've been to - definitely bigger than the one in Queens, NY. The interior was what i was for a fast food restaurant. It's not going to be Michelin star clean, but it was relatively clean compared to other fast food joints. Undoubtedly, there is a TON of hype behind Jollibee because of the lack of locations here stateside, so it's a lot to live up to for most. There isn't a location every few miles like McDonald's. For me, personally, this is some of the very, very, very BEST fried chicken I've ever had. Popeyes will always be my very fave, but Jollibee is right up there in my book.
Jollibee - the Philippines sensation - has at long last made its way to New Jersey. I visited the Edison restaurant at around 6 PM on a Sunday evening. The drive-through was jam packed. There were two lanes of traffic. It took 15 minutes to move but two car lengths. The total wait time from entry to exit was about 40 minutes. That's a lot of time to be idling and killing the environment. Oh, the food itself was hot and tasty, but this experience lost major points by the virtue of the restaurant being understaffed and inefficient. The bottleneck appears to be a lack of food preparers inside the restaurant - there was a cashier, a worker on the fryers and a manager putting together orders. I'm sure that this skeleton staff would appreciate some additional help too! Finally - the indoor dining room is closed. The drive-through is the only game in town - and it's not a very fun game at that. read more

I'm such a fan of jollibee and when I have my peach mango pie craving, I'm willing to drive all the way from Brooklyn into Jersey to get it. Due to the pandemic, there's no indoor dining and you'll always have to wait on line in the drive through to order take out. You might even have to circle around the US-1 a few times to make it into the drive thru, but I assure you it's all worth it. If you really don't want to wait, you can order them through DoorDash but the price are inflated and the deals are usually not in there. As you go through the drive thru be on the lookout for their deals that they post. It varies, sometimes family bundles come with peach mango pies and sides with the delicious succulent chicken; sometimes they have other bucket deals. After coming here for so many times, they finally have the spicy chicken sandwich. I have to say tho, this one I am a bit disappointed. Popeyes still holds the best spicy chicken sandwich, but jollibee won my heart with its succulent crispy flavorful chicken and the peach mango pies. The gravy is always an added bonus. read more

Jollibee is a crave spot for me. The food is consistently as expected. Fried chicken is always crispy with their signature flavors, spicy or regular. It stands up against all the other fried chicken industry leaders. Palobok and Spaghetti is always yummy made with their traditional Filipino flavors. Their rice and gravy is a fan favorite. The whole family and friends always make it a must order. IMO, i love french fries and wish they had it on their menu. The peach mango pie is very similiar to the Mickey's apple pie, crisp on the outside then warm and gooey on the inside with a pop of flavor. This Edison location has been open for months and they still do not offer their Halo Halo dessert, BOOOO! The staff is always very friendly and respectful here. Very polite with the best manners. #raisedright The drive thru lines are still very long. You can call ahead to preorder. I imagine them doing very well at this location (only 5 minutes from my parents house) as there are no other chicken establishments (Chicken Holiday, Popeyes, KFC) close by. On our recent road trip through the east coast. We had to stop by Edison, New Jersey and get some Filipino style cooking of fried chicken along with some palabok (Philippine noodle dish). The pandemic on top of their popularity made ordering our food quite a task and took some time. Because of the time we were able to take some photo ops around the. Outside of the building. Parking was monitored by a hired security guard and we had to park in an adjacent lot and order our food through an app with an approximate pick up time. Despite all the waiting and all the hurdles we had to jump, the wait was well worth it. We brought our order home and enjoyed with family just like in their very emotional family oriented commercials you see on YouTube. I didn't snap picks of the food for we were all super hungry and I wasn't able to capture it. Lol I wish we had one in Georgia but apparently the survey they took of Georgia didn't have that many Filipinos. Where my peeps at? Someone who knows someone at Jollibee needs to reassess Georgia! So many people would go. Not just Filipinos! Ok I'm stopping my rant. I just really enjoyed their food! Closest one to us is in Tampa. Only 7 hours away! read more

I enjoy the fried chicken here, it is very crispy, juicy, flavorful and comes with gray. Whatttt dipping the crispy skin in the gray is an experience. It stays crispy, doesn't get soggy right away, adds another dimension of flavor. I tried their palabok and it was okay. I don't really have anything to compare it to but I enjoyed the sauce and the meat. I heard such good things about the peach mango pie so I wanted to try. I go to take a bite and it literally went everywhere on my shirt and pants, just gushed out. And it was hot! I laughed so hard what a mess. But it was very sweet for me I didn't really enjoy it. I need to try the spaghetti ! For the ordering I always order take out and wait until it's ready to make my way. The drive thru line is always long so either park at next business or try to enter around the line. read more

2.5 stars I've never heard of this place in my life until my little one told me about it! Apparently some YouTuber raved about the spaghetti, so he begged me to take him! WARNING- the drive-thru line is horrendous! That alone is one of the reasons why I'll probably never return. The wait is excessive and for what they have to offer? And for the price?? It's just not worth it. We waited in line for about 15 minutes before we were able to order. After placing our order, we were told to pull over and someone will bring the food out. We waited another 23 minutes for the food to come out and the fries were barely warm- Ugh! The spaghetti is perfect for kids! The sauce is sweet and full of cut up hot dog and loads of cheese! My son thought it was amazing- I did not. The fries? Trash. The saving grace was the fried chicken. It was a mix between KFC & Popeyes- fried crispy and highly seasoned! I would probably go back for more of that chicken alone, IF they get that drive-thru under control! read more

I happened to be near here yesterday and I've been craving to try it out since I saw they were coming to Central jersey. I remember seeing them in Cali but never made it. Yes, long line in the drive-thru but it wasn't too bad. I knew what I wanted to try and make it easier, but found it odd for drinks I was given 2 options, pineapple quencher or Pepsi. No idea if they had other soda flavors. I got a side of fries, which were comparable to McDonald's but less salt. They were out of corn. Should have gotten the Adobo rice. Next time will try the spaghetti and a yumburger! The fried chicken was delicious, crunchy, juicy and nicely seasoned. The legs were huge. They had a slightly sweeter taste but I loved them. And of course, I got a peach mango pie. Its fantastic, hot, crispy flakey sugar coated handheld pie. read more

The chickenjoy is really a joy to eat, crunchy and so tasty... I have been craving for chickenjoy for days now and today I had the time to drive here and get some food... ordering was quick and food was ready in a few minutes. Today I tried the Aloha chicken sandwich, it had a sliced pineapple and bacon, no cheese... it's ok but I am not so thrilled. Just my taste... highly recommend this place if you're craving for fried chicken and some palabok or spaghetti, don't forget the pies, their good too read more

I tried this place about a week ago. Came for dinner around 8pm and there was a line into route 1 north Two lines of cars. Middlesex police directing traffic The person going around giving out menu, answering questions and taking orders was good. However they did NOT have all the menu options and ran out of some too. Very disappointing when you wait that long . The chicken joy was ok. But then again I'm not much for chicken on a bone. I like the mashed potatoes. I did like the adobo rice. Wish there was more sauce . That's just the Filipino in me talking tho. Overall average but the not having items and waiting in a long time was what was annoying. Maybe I will this place again another time once the novelty wears off . Will update whenever that happens read more

I last visited Jollibee 4 months ago and I still stand by my 5-star rating. I think some of the reviews are unnecessarily harsh. Always check your food before leaving the drive thru, especially if you're driving from far. I do that with any fast food restaurant. If you're missing anything, I'm sure the employees would be happy to fix their error. I went on a weekday evening at dinner time hours, approximately 6:30pm. I guess I got lucky again this time. There were no crazy lines, only 2 cars in front of me. In and out in ~10 minutes. They had everything my party ordered, we double checked before leaving. Service was pleasant. They asked us if everything was there and we said yes. I ordered the pancit palabok because they didn't have it when they first opened. It did not disappoint. :) The chicken was so crispy and crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I also ordered the pineapple juice and the peach mango pie (of course). My entire meal was so good! I was completely satisfied. Thank you, Jollibee !! I do wonder if they'll add more items like the Jersey City location. Will have to come back again in the future to see if they do. read more

This location needs to improve. We went there and we had to wait for so long to get our food, there's no many customers around. We dined in, we had to get up a couple of times because there were no utensils, and napkins. I took home the peach mango pie and it ended up being raw. You guys need to do better!! read more
Let's get straight to the point, I've had better fried chicken. The chicken here is crunchy, but lacks much flavor outside of the gravy, which was waxy tasting to me (too long in the container?). The mango peach pie was a delicious filling but the outer crust was greasy and didn't fit well, if it has been light and flaky it would've been perfectly suited for the filling. Inside it was heavy and oily and over sweet. Cute little red flags on the spicy chicken, though. read more

The line at jollie bee has been insane. Recently it has died down some you don't have to circle the highway for a half hour to get in. You'll likely still wait a little but the line goes decently quick and as people get a custom to ordering I'm sure the process will speed up more. The food here has been okay. It's fast food, it's as good as most good fast food. There chicken is good and I really like their chicken sandwich. I have had the peach pies twice and they were good. My absolute favorite is that they have pineapple juice. Nothing special about the juice but where else can you get it. If you don't like pineapple I'm sorry there is more for me. My biggest complaint is they have yet to get halo halo. My wife and I decided to get dessert here once and wanted the halo halo, we circled the highway for 45 mintues and at a certain point I should have realized there is a sunken cost fallacy at play here but it didn't until after. Once we got to the window maybe an hour later, still had to wait in line once I got in line, I went to order two of them and we were told they were out. All I could think was how, this is a signature item, your first picture on Yelp is the halo halo, yet you don't have it. Got the pies and left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. Some time after I was running to home depot to fix something that broke at home and noticed they where open and there was no line. Shocked I pulled in for an early lunch, it was maybe 11:15. I order the chicken sandwich and tried to order a halo halo. They said they were out, how it's 11 am did someone make a run and buy every nurse in the new Brunswick area a halo halo for what they do, btw if you need a good deed for the day not a bad idea, I was surprised again. I asked when I got to the window of they would have them later and they said no. I asked if they would get them in soon and they said they didn't know. I asked if they have ever had them at the store and they said not yet. All I can say is how and I wished I knew that before wasting an hour trying to get one earlier that week. read more

This place seems to be quite popular as the drive through line was very long. I personally don't see why. I got a little bit of everything to try it all out. The food was ok at best. Spicy chicken & peach mango pie were the better of the items. The original chicken was a bit more doughy than I like. The adobo rice didn't have much flavor to me. Fries & gravy were meh. Not sure I 'get' the spaghetti or the polabak...the flavors of both was interesting. Neither was terrible but not sure how to describe them. Not worth the long lines or the pain in the butt U-turn to get to it. They are not allowing anyone inside during COVID. You can either call the order in and pick it up at the door or use the drive through. Employee's were nice enough and moved the line along as best they could. read more
After passing by this Jollibee for the last month and seeing the never, ending lines (to the point where a cop had to direct traffic), I was lucky enough to squeeze in the drive-thru line recently. Was excited to try this this Filipino fast food joint after hearing the hype about this place. + Ordering is takeout only. There will be a few staff members that will walk up to your car and give you a disposable menu and take payment. + Prepare for long lines. There's initially two lines that form in the drive-thru for ordering which eventually merge into one line when picking up your order. From the time we pulled in until got our takeout order, it was probably 20-25 minutes. + CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! There's been a number of reviewers saying that Jollibee forgot to include some items, and unfortunately I'm in that boat because they forgot to include my side with my order. RIP adobo rice... + The food is decent. I ordered the three piece chickenjoy with a side (or sans side in my case). The chicken was not bad -- skin was crispy, chicken wasn't dry, but not incredibly moist either like a popeyes. The gravy definitely was the star of the meal. Lather and bathe that chicken in that gravy, you won't regret it. I also really enjoyed the peach mango pie which had a salty/sweet kick to it. Crust was perfectly fried and warm filling was a nice ending to the meal. Overall, this was an okay experience. I'm not sure if I would come back to wait that long in the drive-thru, but would return once the novelty of this place dies down. read more
I'm not really sure I'm seeing what's special about this place? I ordered their chicken spicy sandwich deluxe with fries and a Pepsi because they don't provide Coke products. Although the breast wasn't over-cooked and or fried, the sandwich literally came with sauce a piece of lettuce and a couple jalapeños. Yep, one lettuce leaf and about two sliced thin jalapeños.........that's what they referred to as deluxe, seriously? The sandwich was acceptable but nothing that I would remember after pulling out of their parking lot, with absolutely no need to ever go out of my way and like I said it was OK, but nothing great or bad but I didn't leave wowed by any stretch of the imagination and the fries well.....they were fries. So delicious! I've been wanting to try for so long. I came around 1:30 and it was moderately busy, it took about 10 minutes to get the food, there was still space available to sit and eat. It's very bright and clean and the people who work there are very friendly. I ordered the two piece spicy chicken joy, I know some people commented that they were soggy so I stayed and ate there to see how they were fresh and they were very crispy! I thought the chicken was delicious, it comes with a side of gravy which I didn't realize so I had ordered a side which I didn't mind because it was delicious. I had the mashed potatoes and gravy as a side, they were meh, again gravy delicious, the potatoes are instant same as most fast food places. Those pies and the pineapple refresher was so amazing. The refresher would definitely be good as a mixer with basically anything I think I may come back and buy a couple just for that reason! I will definitely be back! read more

This place has just recently opened and just the few times I passed by, it was always super busy and about to clog up the highway. When I went, there was a police car blocking the drive through and told us to wait in the Shoprite parking lot across the street. Once there was enough space, he would signal over to the whole group of cars waiting to come over it was a super interesting method of traffic control, but it worked! From my first interaction with the police officer to getting my food, it took about 40 minutes and it was during peak dinner time. Since they just opened, they didn't have all the items on the menu, but they had the signature ones. For the combos, it comes with a soft serve drink, but we asked if we could substitute that with a pineapple drink and they were super accommodating. I read a review saying this drink was pretty sweet, so I actually asked for them to make it less sweet by adding some water and it ended up being perfect. My favorite was the palabok fiesta noodles. It was just the perfect amount of flavor and there was some crunchy flakes in there to ask texture. The Chickenjoy also wasn't too oily like some other fried chicken places and went perfectly with the gravy. The signature spaghetti was probably the most interesting dish, but it was actually pretty good despite being on the sweeter side. Lastly, the peach mango pie was amazing -- crispy, sweet, warm and super yummy. I would definitely come here again when they have a larger selection of items on the menu! read more

I understand the hype. Fried chicken sandwich and fried chicken buckets are solid portions. They have a very good juiciness bite as well. Since this place is new, the fried items are fried in fresher oil; none of that rancid old oil taste or smell you get in places that cheapen out on changing their oil for ages. So why is my review a lower review out of the many 5 star ones? One really big miss item is their sirloin steak entree. For $7.99, the cost does not warrant the the two minuscule patties I got. BEWARE! SUPER LONG DRIVE THRU LINES ON THE WEEKENDS. Due to covid, they no longer allow people to step foot into the store. I was in the drivethru for about 20 minutes and waited about 10-15 for my spicy chicken since everyone was ordering the same thing. I ordered a 10 piece spicy bucket, a palabok (single serving), a peach mango pie and a pineapple quencher. I regret not ordering the family combo which was about the same price and had 2 more pies. Everything was delicious as always, especially the chicken. The chicken was fresh out of the fryer and was super hot, cripsy and moist. This was my mom's first time trying everything and she was hooked. My only note is that I wish they planned ahead of time for the amount of food they would need. Judging by all the other reviews, people usually have to wait very long wait times for their chicken read more

Does the adobo rice have pork? Even though on the sites FAQ, it has a link that it says it's for nutritional information and ingredients. I don't see any ingredients listed.
Is there any way to call ahead and not have to sit in the drive-through line or circle around wasting gas? Like can I park in the parking lot and pick it up when it's ready?
