Another update 8/8/2025. Finally tried their BBQ Brisket Burger. It has their 18 hr smoked brisket, Asian style picked veggies(daikon, lettuce, sweet Asian dressing), bbq & creamy sauce. The brisket burger didn't disappoint. It was tender and tasty and I was surprised by its hefty weight. The sauces and Japanese daikon veggies with the sweet Asian dressing surprisingly complemented well with the brisket. The traditional BBQ sauce was ok but really not essential and to me was a slight distraction. This brisket burger was literally a handful but my big appetite put that sucker away in short order. I ordered it as a combo with soup. I didn't care for the Tomato Bisque soup. It was very tart and tangy, not rich, smooth and creamy like I expected so I couldn't finish it and sadly had to knock off a star. That being said, most of the main menu items so far have been great and the service is always great with a smile. Management trains their employees well. I also like the green garden-inspired artificial foliage that covers the walls that gives it a cozy & trendy ambiance. Yes, I'll be back to try more items on their menu. read more

If you haven't visited Jolene's Market in Ewa Beach, you should check them out! I enjoyed their Fried Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings and Birria Melt with Spicy Consommé. The onion rings were crispy and flavorful, and the spicy consommé had a nice kick, though a bit too spicy for me. They kindly offered tomato bisque instead, which was also delicious for dipping. Known for its lively atmosphere and comfort food, Jolene's offers gourmet burgers and sandwiches. The laid-back, hipster vibe is perfect for socializing. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, and seafood, with standout dishes like lobster rolls and beef brisket. The inviting environment and fresh ingredients make it a favorite among locals and tourists, featuring unique items like the Butta Lobster Roll and BBQ Brisket Melt. read more

I really like their BBQ brisket melt -- honestly better than the lobster, but that might just be because I'm not a fan of cold sandwiches. The brisket melt is warm, flavorful, and always satisfying. I also always get the slushie to drink, which pairs perfectly with the meal. The staff is friendly, the parking is easy, and the prices are decent for what you get. I also recommend getting the soup as a side -- it rounds out the meal really well. Overall, a solid spot with good food, great service, and simple convenience. read more

This is one of my fave places to eat in Ewa Beach! I highly recommend their garlic buttah lobster roll and a side of curly fries. Soooo yummy! They're also on doordash, which is a great option if you don't wanna leave the house! read more

Had to share this dessert we ate when we went back to Jolene's Ewa Beach and how friendly the staff here are, super nice, welcoming and helpful! So they have this seasonal dessert called the Maple Pumpkin Toast......sooooo good! They said it's seasonal so not sure how much longer they will have it. The Japanese toasted bread with this pumpkin fluff (not heavy, but light and fluffy), sprinkled with candied pecans and drizzled with maple syrup. It was sooo...good! And even if I was full after eating their lobster roll, I skipped the fries and took it home so I could indulge in this dessert! Hubby had the Smoked Brisket Loco Moco and enjoyed it! Lobster Roll was yummy as usual! read more

Early dinner from Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii... I have now been to every location of Jolene's on this island! Chinatown has the most challenging parking situation. Airport has an industrial ambiance. Kaneohe is spacious and has easy parking. Ewa Beach is the most Instagramable! Check out the signature koi fish wall right outside the cafe! Look at all of the cute wall murals! With free parking at the Laulani Shopping Center, this Jolene's is located between Hawaii State Federal Credit Union and Ahi & Vegetable on the Ross wing of the mall. Service was exceptionally friendly and efficient! Rowena is a cheerful cashier and was very helpful and informative! She explained how Jolene drew the designs on the package! Wow! Very cool! I got the famous Buttah Lobster Roll... it has soft, thick bread with some pickled veggies underneath the shredded lobster. It's a perfect combination of tart and sweet vs. chewy and crisp. I'll be back for other menu items! read more

Amazing Service however the lobster in my opinion is canned or imitation. One claw was huge and too perfect looking and when I bit it, it was chewy and fishy. For $27.00, not worth the price if it's imitation or half and half. Great Crew but I could tell the difference. read more

OMG! Their food is amazingggg. The shrimp plate was good (7.5/10) BUT the BBQ brisket sandwich was perfectttt (100/10). It was so soft, delicious, and good quality! As far as the drinks, the thai tea was flavorful. The only downside was it took a long time for our food to come out, but it was peak hours so we understand. The restaurant is also very pretty and they wrapped our food in a cute bow...perfect for a small date! Will definitely be returning :) read more

This Jolene's location is really close to my house and where I do a lot of my errands, so we finally tried it out one day. We were hungry and since we hadn't ever been to a Jolene's before, the menu was a little overwhelming. Everything sounded so good. The counter ladies were great and made some suggestions. We ended up getting a few things to share--chicken sandwich, corn chowder, cajun fries--and the portions were very generous. I'm going to need to go back to try lots of other things! In addition to the great menu, they also carry a bunch of packaged food items and have a really cute gift display. Their reusable bags are so cute. That stuff really distracted me while I was trying to concentrate on ordering lunch. I may have to go back sometime to nab some cute goodies. Parking is easy--there's a huge lot for all of the shops in the area at Laulani Trades. read more

Got a recommendation to check this place out, so decided to go. I figured a butta lobster roll would be classic and smoked brisket moco had to be the other plate to try. Butta lobster roll was beyond exception! One of the best ones I have had. The lobster mayo mixture was perfectly made with a lot of flavor complimenting the pickled vegetables tartiness, but it doesn't end there because the crisp of the bread was giving!!! You squeeze some of that lemon wedge on it and it seals the deal. Smoked brisket moco was absolutely delicious. I love brisket, personally, so I could be biased. The tenderness and fattyness with a smoked flavor... then you top with gravy and an over easy egg. Wow. I enjoyed that plate a lot. But I did not enjoy the pickled vegetable side for it. It didn't compliment the food very well. I did take out over the phone, and customer service on the phone was amazing! Can't for get way they packed my plates with a ribbon, was the cutest way I have ever seen. This place is also in a great location in ewa beach, at the shopping center with Safeway and Ross. So there's plenty of parking! read more

This is not my first time here. The place is cute, clean, and the workers are very friendly. Only giving it 4 stars due to the food that I ordered. I am not sure if it was because I came before closing but the food was not up to par as the previous times I have went. The fries were good. Burger would've been good if it wasn't dry. The brisket plate was not what I expected. This was my first time ordering the smoked brisket plate. It didn't taste smoke nor was there any seasoning on it. I was a bit disappointed. Next time I'll just stick with what they are known for. read more

This was our first time at the Jolene Ewa Beach. It was such a pleasant experience. The Staff is so Nice and I liked how she Explained the specials and the menu to my daughter and I. The Ambiance is so Amazing and although we ordered our food to go, the Cashier explained the Toast of the day perfectly on how to preparing at home. The to go bag is so cute too and their packaging. The food was so Amazing! I ordered My girls and I the Buttah burger, chowder fries, lobster melt, and the Ube Oreo toast of the day, and the pineapple & strawberry slushie. Everything is so delicious! Thank you to the Awesome Staff! read more

We really enjoyed having a girls luncheon at Jolene's. The menu look has changed but the food and great flavor is the same. We ordered the 6 Birria Wontons, the Birria Melt with Waffle fries & the smoke Brisket plate with rice and salad. Everything was delicious. The young lady checked on our table. She offered to take our rubbish. Just excellent customer service. Joleen's is always clean and the atmosphere is nice. People are sitting inside talking story and the outside tables were full today because the weather was so nice. I enjoy this Ewa Beach location. Now we need a Jolene's close to the North Shore. read more

The quality of food and the quaint atmosphere at Jolene's is what draws you in. They have good music, good food, and good vibes. Their portions are pretty big. I got burgers for my kids with fresh waffle fries that they make. And the Louisiana sandwich, which was a great add since they use the pickle, cucumbers and carrots from bahn mi sandwiches. The flavor was on point and the service was good too. Presentation was done well and just to know if you want ice water it cost $.50 but it's because they give you the Boba cup. read more

You have to eat here at least once! It's literally like a small location next to other food places. Their sandwiches are amazing and definitely fulfilling. I love their lobster sandwiches and getting anything in a melt is a big yesss! Their portions are pretty decent, but they only come with sandwiches and no sides. My husband tried their plate lunches but was not a fan of it. I would rate this place a 5 star but it is a little on the pricier side so we don't come often. read more

It's been touch and go with this place. They had some great items. The lobster is a fantastic sandwich but sometimes you don't get it. So good kind of depends on who's working there great ideas great menu items. Sometimes there's a long wait there because there's only a few people working and they're kind of food they're making is not the kind as fast, but I'd recommend it if you're in the other Beach area for sure. Talk about a family business knowing how to bring comfort food to a whole new level. I first heard the buzz about Jolene's from their Chinatown location and lemme tell you, the hype is real. I got the Buttah Lobster Roll combo with waffle fries. The roll itself was toasty and buttery, but what made it special was the pickled veggies. It was like a bánh mì met a lobster roll. My boyfriend got the Birria Cheese Melt with consommé sauce (and of course I had a bite too). The beef was on point, tender and full of flavor. This was my first time trying birria without a tortilla and the Japanese milk bread soaks up all of the flavors perfectly. The décor's chic but unpretentious, and the staff? Super chill and mega helpful. Next time I'm going to call my order in or order online. If you come at a busy time, expect to wait 25-30 minutes since a lot of folks do order ahead. read more

Unique ambiance and an even more unique menu. The pastrami melt was decent, but I wasn't wowed.

Jolene's is known for their lobster rolls, so that's what I went with. Their Buttah Lobster Roll was delicious. It's served chilled with lettuce, onion and pickled veggies. I had this before at their downtown location a few years ago. It tasted like a lobster banh mi then and it still tastes like a lobster banh mi today. However, I did notice that they use a lot less pickled veggies now. The top of the roll was topped with big chunks of lobster meat. The inside of the roll had more of the minced lobster. It was still a great roll. I prefer the seasoned mayo that they use instead of the usual drawn butter. I added a tomato bisque for a dollar. It was good, but a little on the tart side for me. A little sprinkle of sugar would have balanced out the flavor. read more

Excellent service, very good food, outdoor seating to accommodate our dog. Large portions, we all ended up taking something home.

Their signature roll is the Buttah Lobster Roll. I haven't tried it because I felt it would be too rich for me. I had the Smoked Brisket Roll and I was expecting it to be thin slices but the brisket is sliced thick like a steak. The meat was so tender and easy to eat and the flavor was outstanding. I have yet to try their shrimp roll or smoked hamburger but I'm sure they are very delicious. read more

Jolene's is the place when I'm in Ewa! This is the place for the crustation that I'm allergic to but thankfully they have so much more than that, located in the Laulani Shopping Center parking will never be an issue though seating on the flip side are much smaller than it's downtown location. That pretty much ends the difference as when you walk in the vibe here is amazing the instagramable walls and neon signs are lit not my first visit I still find myself clicking away. I've had a few of their cheese melts that are always so guilty yummy and beyond today the special caught my eye..."Aunty's Sauce Wontons" for $!0, "Spring Pesto Melt" and their Slushie of the Day "Pineapple" woohoo!!! It started as lunch gone beyond control and their packing is bagless and is all tied up with a lovely logo ribbon which held it all together perfectly the thing is when your phone eats first and was gonna eat one and take one home it has to all get undone...sigh! I'm a crafter but not a gift wrapper let alone two plastic lunch box...it was a hot mess lol!! Spring Pesto Melt was nice and gooey and because of all the other items I got it ala carte *sob* I was craving their soup but had to keep it simple hahaha!!! I peeked at the wontons but now I had to try one hahahahah!! I got the spicy sauce which wasn't spicy at all but was nice shoyu base that did accent the pork wontons super nice! Pineapple slushie seriously hit the refreshing spot and being served in a sturdy reusable cup is a great touch and yes I still have it and reusing it. Jolene's never disappoint and I do love this location, service is always spot on (though they forgot my drink) friendliest staff and super quick service. Thank you! read more

Been wanting to try this place out. I didn't know what to expect. The girl at the counter was very helpful. I decided on the pastrami roll. It was banh mi inspired. The sandwich was made with care. It looked good and tasted good. The bread was very soft and toasted. The pastrami was very tender and tasty. I dined in. Its a nice place with seating in and outside. Okay I came here the other evening cause the family had already eaten, I really didn't know what to eat so I got the regular Loco Moco. I've liked what I ate here before but not this time. The hamburger patties were over cooked, dry and like the gravy totally unseasoned. I might go out on a limb and say no seasoning. I was super disappointed. Like is said I liked what I had before but this time, total 180. Maybe this is just not their specialty? I don't know but I wouldn't recommend this dish at all! Sorry read more

What a surprise. We are mainlanders . Decided to try Jolene's. The server was excellent at explaining how the menu worked. Described the difference between the taste of House dressing and the Oriental dressing. She was right. The place is clean and the food is served so cute/fancy. Complete with a ribbon to tie your order together. My brisket salad was delicious. The brisket was very tender and smoked just right. My husband ordered a grilled cheese and cup of corn chowder.
