I went here because by father was in the hospital near by. So while they were running tests I had to get my nails fixed. I asked for a powder dip on my natural nails. She was really quick, faster then I've ever had getting them done. One nail needed a tip cause it had broke and I noticed that it wasn't even filed correctly and had extra powder dip to the side making my nail bed even bigger. This was at 3ish today, now it's 630ish and one nail had already chipped. I wasn't doing anything to cause a chip. Sometimes fast isn't always better!! read more

I had a terrible experience at jojo Nails During my pedicure, the technician cut my toe and kept digging even after I asked her to stop. She was rude and completely ignored my discomfort. When I decided to stop the service, the manager came over and yelled at me in front of everyone. It felt like he was trying to humiliate me on purpose. I left feeling hurt, embarrassed, and completely disrespected. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The lack of care, hygiene, and basic respect for customers is unacceptable. What made it worse is the manager took no accountability and had no care in the world how he treats people, Please find other salons to give your business too. read more

Jojo nails used to be my go-to for my nails. I even moved out of town and drove all the way back to Glendora to get my nails done by my favorite techs. Until recently, when I started calling to make my appointments for said favorite nail techs only to find out that they had some sort of emergency and left "just before I got there." This happened to more than just me. I know these techs don't work there anymore and I know that Jojo's is still continuing to lie to their customers and book them with nail techs that are not going to be there. My experience at JoJo's was not great. I took my daughter and her friend to get manicure/pedicures for her birthday and I got a gel pedicure. The salon was beautiful and it was nice they had a receptionist. They gave the girls a book of nails to pick colors from, they both picked 3 colors before they were able to get one of the colors actually in stock. I went through 2 colors before I got to one that was available. The children's manicure pedicure was priced less than adults which was nice. Their technicians were very kind and they both had a nice experience. I wish I had just skipped mine all together. Not only was my technician extremely rude she did a terrible job I felt. My nails are crooked and the paint is not only on my skin it is missing from parts of the nail. It seemed like she was inconvenienced the whole time but when it came time for the massage with the lotion she rolled her eyes multiple times and I would not consider what she did a massage. I would consider this my worst nail experience ever. There is a separate $3 charge for the liner that goes in the pedicure tub. The first receptionist that helped us was kind and very sweet to the girls. When we were checking out there was a different receptionist who was very short about the inquiry of the charge for liners. I wanted to complain at the time but I did not want to ruin the birthday experience for the girls. I would not recommend anyone to this salon or return myself. read more

Sweet ladies, but my 6 year old can paint nails better. It was all over my skin, and they didn't paint the corner of my nails.

I get dip manicures and regular pedicures here. Everyone does a great job. I highly recommend Brenda for dip manicures. Would recommend you always make an appointment! They take you for your appointment right away and always offer water to drink. read more

Long overdue review. Been coming since 2017. All the ladies that have given me services have been great & friendly. Katie has done my nails a few times. She also does a good job with underarm waxing. Quick & easy. Mostly painless for me as I've been doing for many years. I'm very picky lol I told her how I like my pedicure and she was kind enough to do what I asked. Brenda & Jenny gave the kids a simple pedicure. They enjoyed the kids chair and liked the water of course lol. They were just wondering why they didn't have color changing lights like the adult chair. Today I got a massage from Nancy. Second time. I've had such a terrible year full of work stress that my back is a mangled mess. I used to get full body massages in the past but I stopped going few years ago. Nancy will work on you, no fake, soft massage here. When she was done I felt a weight off my shoulders and back. She said I have lots of knots. :/ So if you don't mind a little pain for a better feeling later, she's the one. PS you pay for what you get, a good service. Don't forget the tip. I'm new to this area and decided to try this location. My first 3 visits, I really enjoyed the service. The nail techs were patient with helping me find a color, offered me water, and most importantly connected and took their time with my nails. Outside of wanting pretty nails, this is my selfcare/pampering time. Today on my 4th visit, it was another whole experience. This particular nail tech was very rough and seemed to be racing on a new personal record. The place was pretty empty with no waiting line so I was confused. Then she proceeded to remove my builder gel pretty much with a drill, even after I told her it was hot. Next, builder gel goes on in layers yet she magically got it done in one apply, again making the curing extremely hot. She also managed to get the gel all over my hands and fingers and did not try to remove it. Same thing with the nail color. When she finished she walked away so I walked over to the front desk. The front desk person asked how my service was and I said it was just ok, honestly just wanting to leave. I had 2 cuts and residue all over from nail polish and gel but it was fine, I just wanted to leave. Now I'm not sure who the front desk gentlemen is but whoever he is he should remember that he is representing the place. He proceeds to tell me the service was 20 dollars more than I've ever paid at this exact same location. He proceeds to say it was due to my nails not being a fill, my nails are natural, never had a fill. Then he proceeds to tell me it i was confusing two services. At that point I was annoyed. I've had the same service 3 previous times in this location and have been getting my nails done for decades, I know the difference. He proceeded to wave the 2 different types of gel in front of me and said I was wrong. Then he gets even more rude, louder and begins to ask for names on who did what service. He then pretty much talked down to me and shut me up, said to pay the amount I've always paid, pretty much throwing the card reader at me and begins to scold the nail tech on the spot. I don't mind at all paying what is due and im always a great tipper therefore this whole ordeal has left me truly disappointed and will be looking for a new location. read more

I have not posted not one bad review but this time I felt like it was unfair. I had let my nails grow out to get dip but before I knew it he had cut off all my nails extremely short. After I told him something he said he thought I wanted TIP not DIP. After he called the front desk they spoke in their language about the issue. He continued to do the service promising it would look fine. I tried my best to like them but I just felt upset and tears started rolling down my face. They are truly not what I wanted. The front desk denied that she spoke to me and the new front desk at the time just condemned me for not saying something when I did. In the end it wasn't the techs fault the front desk gave him wrong information but it was his fault for not even trying to recognize the problem. I am so disappointed. And wil be contacting them for a refund or will have to go through my bank. read more

RIP OFF came to get a simple pedicure, add acrylic on one big toe and a acrylic nail removal on my hands. first of all Nancy did a horrible job at my pedicure and felt more like a color change to me. She poked at my cuticles DRY with no cuticle remover liquid! I only came here bc my other salon is on vacation SAMS nail studio in west co. ask for amy or Sam. anyway, I came here for the looks of the place to match high quality service and was so disappointed. How do you mess up gel color.... you can, it looks like blobs and I like my big toe to be shaped square, very sharp and pretty. I got curved edges and told her to file it please and she said " no no, that's why you broke it in the first place, you file at home if you want to" EXCUSE ME.... first of all I didn't pay $75 TOTAL (scam) for u to tell me to file my nails at home . I should've told her something but she's older and I wanted to keep it cute. Sorry nancy but customer service was 0/10. N back to charging me $75 with a $2 service fee! For a gel pedicure $35, $5 acrylic toe, $20 for acrylic removal (CRAZY for digging a nail under it and drilling away at my nail beds but go off) well that $2 service fee was ur tip! pls do not come here it's only something pretty to look at! also the acrylic on the left toe was done by my other salon so u can see what im talking about how it should be done. read more

I never do this but after going back and reading some of the issues and the mgt responses I felt like customers should know multiple experiences to make better choices. We all know that we no longer live in the days of $15 dollar full sets and $20 pedicures! with that being said I would like to share my experience in hopes it saves you some money and a bad time. lol. I called to make sure that someone was willing to do a mani/pedi at 7:05 considering they close at 7:30. They welcomed me to come in so I hung up and walked in. I was greeted and instructed to go to the back chair. Jen made sure I was comfortable and began quickly on my toes. Not to much to say, she was sweat and very accommodating. Not a bad pedi but didn't even scrub my feet. Cut me a few times while cleaning up my cuticles but was apologetic. Toe nails were left uneven and all different shapes. I was asked to $100 before the service was done because the guy up front wanted to leave. Now the lady that did my hands! She was sweet. I picked a color that I ALREADY KNOW needs a white under coat to look the way I like it. I told her that and she said no! This polish doesn't need that. So I let it go, she's the expert. Well 5 coats later and it was still see through! One hour later, messy job cleaning my cuticles, and a messy job with the polish. After the polish was cured she began to file the sides of my nails peeling off nail polish and skin! When I asked her to please clean off the extra polish she came with a cuticle cutter and tried to cut off the paint! I moved my hand and she said here let me, I said no you're hurting me! He attitude changed and she began to speak in her native language. I wasn't trying to cause a scene, I had already paid for the service and I was trying to be discreet. I didn't want to be "THANK CUSTOMER " well $100 later botched mani and an ok pedi. I learned my lesson.... Never cheat on your nail girl! read more

Cristy is the only nail tech who has been able to get dip to stick to my incredibly thin nails with oily nail beds. I will literally not go to anyone else for my dip. Jenny is the most delightful nail tech who does my gel pedicures (and always helps with my ingrown nails). Kathy is also amazing for all pedicure needs. I was in the area and decided to get a Mani Pedi at Jojo nails. While sitting in my car outside I called first as it says to do here. No one answered even with multiple employees standing around and only 1 customer. I should have taken it as a sign and drove away. But I decided to go in and ask. They took me in right away. Daisy did my Mani Pedi and was very professional and caring. She is the reason for any stars at all. When it came time to pay another lady came asking me for my payment. I told her I though that the price was higher than I had seen. No this is the price. So I looked up on their own website. https://jojo-nails.com/ which shows lower prices than I was charged. Daisy called someone over to help me. Photo prices are from their website and what I was charged. Kevin came over and very rudely told me that the prices on the website are pre-covid prices and are not the correct prices. There was no reason for him to be so rude as I was politely asking him a question why the difference in price. It's false advertising to post a price then charge more. I also asked about his mask sign that says everyone has to wear a mask. He gave me more attitude saying I can't make my employees wear it. Then why do you have the sign? Needless to say I will not be returning to this nail salon. I feel for the employees that have him as an employer. Beautiful shop Quick problem solving Hard working lady All i can say is im VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED of going this place to do my nails. After such a long time looking forward to the most prestigious and beautiful nail salon in AZUSA/Glendora area. I didnt get the right service i choose, then the lady bleeding my nail and just busy switch to massage my arm until i ask loudly for a tissue. The mask for the legs didnt clean right and still on my ankle and end of my leggings when finish the service. However, she does work hard. When the time for paying, CASH ONLY or zelle to the nice manager/boss lady comes in later in the afternoon. Another disappointed add up to my experience. After she hears all my complaining, she writes me a $10 gift card. Which i appreciate it and good problem solving idea. Good luck to this place. And thanks for the $10 gift card. I really wanted to like this place. Atmosphere is nice, manicurist Nancy was also very nice. My friend and I got a pedicure with gel. I'm kind of dissatisfied and disappointed with how they looked after. Service was a bit rushed but we got there at 4:00pm. The outcome after I came home and got a closer look at my toes.
