We sat down and talked about what I needed (an unusual size with a liquid propane hookup), when I needed it (ASAP), and what I'd looked at so far. My first pick, a KitchenAid, wasn't going to be available for at least another 6 months. My second pick wasn't going to be available until January. He sat back and thought a little bit and then said, "You know, I think Fisher & Paykel is shipping within two weeks." And they were! And now I have a stove that I love! The installation crew was great. They were super fast and polite and did an excellent job of explaining what I needed to do next. And I don't have to wait 6 months to boil water in my own house.

As I mopped up the water, the store promptly sent someone to fix it. It still wasn't tight enough, and thankfully I checked it before the water started spewing. Sheesh. Guy came out again, and after he got it tight enough, the washer stalled before the spin cycle and had to be manually set to drain and spin. ????????. So why do I give them 4 stars? Prompt and friendly! I give a lot of leeway to working folk to make a mistake or two, and no harm was done. The next day, we asked them to come and take the pair away (the w/d, not the installation guys). They did not try to hard sell us or talk us out of our decision. And even though we didn't use it, their extended warranty is really good. So, a mixed bag. Most of our problem was with the w/d, not Tucker's. I'm heading back there today to see if they have a Samsung pair, and if they meet Lowe's price, I'll buy it there. Because they are honest and responsive.

He was done in about 30 minutes and charged $250 labor for a bill totaling $360.
