Maggie tailored a gown for me a few years ago. It had beading that was tricky but the end result was perfect! Maggie is also very personable and does her best to remember her customers, which I think is definitely is an asset to her business. You can see that she cares about her customer and quality work.

I brought in one of my favourite pants which I hadn't worn in a year because I needed to get it in hemmed and she did an excellent job. She was also very respectful of the restrictions, which I appreciated. In addition, she was selling some great handmade masks - she's a tailor after all- so how can you go wrong? The store is located just off 91st near Ellerslie it'll strip mall so there's lots of free parking. No complaints there! In fact, no complaints anywhere- this is a place I will be going back to next time I need anything fixed and considering I'm height challenged it will be soon!

At the time - Victoria quoted 3 days for the job, but I was able to pick them up this afternoon! Tried everything on and it was just as I wanted it to be! Summary: professional service, excellent communication, quick turnaround (workload contingent, of course), end product as desired - all at a very competitive price point. I was very satisfied with the service and always said I wanted my pants to be touching the floor without shoes on....every time! I don't know her name but i went in enough that she recognized me. I had taken in a pair of black linen pants and went through the whole scenario of trying them on, have them touch the floor without shoes and then I just picked them up a few days later. I didn't try them on right away because I've never had a problem. I took them with me on a trip a couple of weeks later. When I put them on, they were a solid inch and a half too short. I can't wear them. I took them back in to see if maybe she could let the hem down but it didn't look like enough fabric was left. She said 3/4 of an inch was all she could do But I would have to pay, Again!! I got pressed about having a receipt. I had taken another pair of pants with me that day that needed to be hemmed. I thought maybe she would even offer to do those for free for compensation, but the only solution was for me to pay for her to fix what she did wrong in the first place. Needless to say, I didn't leave my other pair of pants and found a new Tailor.
