I was introduced to Cheryl from a mutual friend, who highly recommended her services to me. Since then I have had her watch my pups a few times and every time I return my house is the way I left it, my mail is left on my table, and my plants are still alive! Yay! The website was great, I appreciated the information they had about each dog (personality and demeanor, if they're good with other animals or kids, if they're house trained, good in cars, etc). Those are all things you are wondering about when bringing in a new pet and it shaped which dogs initially applied for. The adoption process as a whole was clear and well communicated. Incredibly responsive and attentive team of volunteers. We had the greatest experience working with one of their Adoption Coordinators, Ruth. She made it an incredible experience and felt like family by the time our adoption was closed- she was so communicative and responsive. She answered most of my questions before I even got to ask them! After the application was completed, Ruth and I had a facetime interview. It was so obvious how much this team cares for these dogs and wants to make sure the fit is great for both adopter and dog. We adopted a dog that had a recent ACL surgery and Ruth took great care in getting us all information available to make an informed decision. Her and I were in constant contact and she explained what each step of the process looked like and kept me well informed about what was next. They have a policy of every adoption being a "trial adoption" (about a week) to ensure the dog is a great fit for the new family, in it's new home. We fell in love with our new pup immediately, but really appreciated the week trial to confirm our home/family was a good fit for him. We had daily check-ins with our adoption coordinator and that was great! This is a FANTASTIC organization to work with. Amazing volunteers who give so much time and energy to give these dogs a better life. Thankful to be a part of it and can't recommend them enough!

From the 1st conversation with Kylah regarding our dogs, and most specifically our Golden Retriever puppy, we were 100% on the same page. Kylah offered us multiple choices from regular boarding to a full 2 week board and train for our puppy. We decided to go with the board and train and I am SO BEYOND happy that we did. A crazy 6month old puppy with basic commands down but zero impulse control or off leash command recalls left our home to go with Kylah. We got an AMAZINGLY different puppy back home 2 weeks later. She came home her normal loving, goofy and happy self, BUT, she listens now!!!! We do multiple training sessions at home every day. Her growth has been nothing short of miraculous. I now have a just over 7 month old puppy that I can lead all over our yard without touching her leash. I can put her on a down stay and walk out of sight and she stays put 90% of the time right now. We are able to have family time with all of our animals together without insane puppy antics that were so crazy our daughter didn't want to even watch a show with us. Now she happily comes and hangs out with us knowing our puppy isn't going to climb all over her and chew on her arms. We can have friends over for dinner and once she gets past the initial meeting when they get here (which she still needs work on), she is well mannered and listens just the way she does when it's just us. We can enjoy our company with her around and not have to kennel her anymore to avoid the nutso puppy that she was before training with Kylah. Kylah is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. As long as you listen to her followup instructions and do the training sessions at home in between the follow ups. You will have great success with Kylah as your dog trainer. We are probably going to be sending our adult German Shepherd to her for a refresh/reminder of his manners. I could go on and on all day about Kylah as a trainer but in the end, you have to experience working with her and being open to everything she tells you to do to help your dog be the best version of themselves. Kylah is most definitely THE person to help you with that.

This company is a scam, not only did we not receive tracking, but they picked up my dog in a freaking trash bag and even had the audacity to say "have a great day" when they were leaving my house with my dead dog. After the weird interaction we still believed we had placed our dog in good hands. After 2 weeks, we still had not heard anything about his where about or when we would get him back. We called and were told that weather had delayed the process. Death and cremations don't stop because of some rain, so we started to get suspicious. After 3 weeks we still had not received any update. We called back, no one answered. Called again and left a voicemail, and then someone finally called back. They said they had shipped our dog on Friday (3/31/23) and that we should receive the package in 3 to 5 days. We asked for a tracking number and received one that didn't work. We complained again and then they claimed they missed a digit and sent the corrected tracking. When you look at the tracking, our dog wasn't shipped out on Friday (3/31/23), he was actually shipped out on Tuesday (4/4/23). When we finally got the package, the ashes were in a freaking ziplock bag and I'm not fully convinced they are my dog's ashes. We also received a clay paw print that looks nothing like my dog's paw print. I am absolutely disgusted by this company
