U-pick started at 9am and we got there around 9:30. There were already about 20-30 families there. We were wondering if there would still be ripe strawberries left since they have been opened the previous 3 days already as well and the lot wasn't very big. But within a short of amount of time, we have got some amazing strawberries! We tasted some and they were so delicious and sweet. Will visit again for sure!!! More than half of the field was covered in weeds to the point where you couldn't find the path between the strawberries. As a result, many of the berries were stepped on and plants trampled. There were some tall prickly weeds that can easily scratch you if you were not careful. While we understand some weeds are expected in an organic farm, but this was way out of control. We had to work really hard at finding good ripe berries amongst the camouflage. It took two adults over an hour to pick 5 lbs. We might try the other organic farm we drove by on the way to Bolles next year. Their field appeared to have been better taken cared of.

I had a very elderly grandmother who most definitely would not have been able to attend an event with 150 other people. Legacy Farm is a nonprofit, volunteer-run, family owned business. The owner said they'd been open and expanding for six years. Parking was easy to find and we didn't need to wait in line for anything. We came for their fall festival, which is open Sat/Sun. There was plenty to do - we arrived right in time for the reptile show, where our kids learned about snakes, lizards, scorpions, and turtles. In some cases, they got to touch, but the smaller or venomous ones were brought close enough to see well. There was also a cockroach (in a jar!). Aaaanyways, the show was about 20 minutes and I learned a few fun facts and the kids got a picture holding up a boa constrictor, which was cool. After that, we did zip lines, carpet slides, the corn maze, walked a pumpkin patch (we didn't buy this time around, but they do offer various sizes for sale), ran the big trike course, hay ride, petted the animals, jumped on the giant inflatable bouncer, and watched a pig race. By this time, we were hungry and grabbed dinner at the snack stand - hot dogs, grilled cheese, and cups street corn - topped off with apple cider donuts. Our last stop was their new mini golf course. 18 holes in fantastic shape - probably the most fun course I've done. My wife is NOT a mini golfer but commented probably four times how much she was enjoying it and wanted to come back. We managed a few hole-in-ones and I think it would be possible on most holes, though they do have a couple multi-stage ones that you'd have to be crazy lucky. I wish I'd taken more pictures of the course, but I was chasing my kids, who were tearing through it as fast as possible. We left happy and exhausted. We'd love to come back - I heard they do an escape-room-like adventure on Fri/Sat evenings and a couple of the guests were talking about how great the Christmas experience is in December.

The mini animal petting area is always a hit with the kiddos- located in the same building as the gift shop. We always enjoyed the face painting (I'm not sure if they still have that or not though). I believe there is a fee for the corn maze and pumpkin shooter etc. You can also rent a fire pit for the evening with friends or family! So, we contacted Alaina in C/S and finally got the account updated, but unfortunately it was not in time for our 2nd Box of Goods to be added to our order for delivery on Thursday, our scheduled delivery date. When we we were told we'd have to wait until the following Thursday as the order wasn't updated in time, we were a little disappointed, of course; however, it was really our fault, after all, and besides, Klesick's quality products are definitely worth waiting for. Fast forward a couple days later to Saturday, and as I'm outside sweeping our driveway, a small sedan suddenly pulls up and out pops Alaina with our second Box of Goods, cheerily announcing, "Well, I was going to be in the area today, so we figured we'd get this to you right away". It's a huge store with a massive parking lot and they always seem to have what I'm looking for in stock. I regularly pick up the large bags of pine pellets here, and they're a great value. I'm also usually in and out within just a few minutes, which I really appreciate. The employees have always been so kind and helpful. They have offered to help me carry the large heavy bag of pellets out before, which was such a thoughtful gesture. And when they have the little chicks in, I always have to take a peek! So cute! :) Thank you to the team at Tractor Supply in Monroe for always making my trips so quick and easy!

Tractor Supply is pretty darn solid! They have a nice big parking lot (can easily bring a trailer…read morewithout being too much of a nuisance when it isn't super busy). I come here regularly to pick up poultry feed and straw bedding, and usually everything's in stock (they had a straw shortage during COVID, but can't really fault them on that). I like that their compressed straw is wrapped in plastic - it's a bit wasteful, but it's cleaner to transport and store at home - it usually takes me a month to go through a whole bale, so it's helpful that it stores dry without me having to build a specific straw shed or something. For heavy/bulky stuff (like straw bales and 50lb bags of feed), they have an open cart, which is nice - so you don't have to load stuff in and out of a normal cart. That's nice. Usually, there are enough cashiers to make things move pretty quickly - usually there are only 1 or 2 people in line ahead of me. I've used their online ordering, and it was... awkward - I had to wait around forever for an associate at the pick up desk... might as well have just shopped normally that time. It did seem like they were short staffed. Overall, Tractor Supply has some specialty items that other stores don't have. However, there are more pleasant places to shop that I tend to prefer to go to (Snohomish & Monroe Co-Op). Outside of commodity stuff (feed, etc), I don't like that they don't sell high quality stuff - it's mostly cheap stuff and maybe some national brands. So, I don't really go here for much - unless they have something I can't find elsewhere.

Apple picking is my favorite here! Apples are wonderful and they have corn for sale too! The sweetest corn we've had all year! Activities and ambiance are always wonderful! During fall, we absolutely love the cider donuts, roasted corn, and cider drinks! The pulled pork sandwich is solid, I just wish they would toast the bread so it wouldn't be so cold and dry. Corn dog was pretty good! They have lots of seating around the farm which is great and we appreciate that bathrooms are clean. The duck race was really fun to watch and all of the staff and team members at the farm looked happy and helpful! We've definitely noticed that over the years it's gotten a lot more busy! Activities are worth it but can be pricey! To take advantage, we started early and stayed the entire day! We had a blast and so did our son!

Unfortunately I needed to leave before I could go but I was able to enjoy the other parts of the farm like the apple picking, picture opportunities, and apple treats and more. Visiting a farm like swan trails is the perfect fall activity and the vibes are always great. Spend a full afternoon here and save space for treats!
