After numerous requests to find out how long it would be, he finally left at about 11:45 after making an appointment with another doctor. Staff was apologetic and helpful (as much as possible) but wait time is unacceptable. Husband took off work to go to this appointment and he works 1.5 hours away so you can imagine how inconvenient this was. ALSO, this was not original appointment nor doctor. When I called office a couple of week before about another question, found out that husband's appointment was not only moved out a week but was scheduled with a different doctor. No one notified us; had it not been for my calling to ask a question on the intake form, we would not have known he had been rescheduled. Just noticed that Doctor concentrates on women's health (obgyn?) which can possibly be cause of delay. However, if known there would be a delay at this time in the morning, someone should have notified us and rescheduled appointment. BTW, was told that this doctor is notorious for running late. Terrible service; terrible consideration and respect for other people's time!!!

Santa Lucia Medical Group is a well known and popular medical office, it has been open since 1987…read more The staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. I think many patients like the fact that everyone that works there is bilingual. Nothing better than seeying a Dr who understands what your saying and can also respond back in your language. They offer alot of different in house services which is so convenient for us as patients. And if they don't offer that service they give you a referral elsewhere, the referral coordinators are quick and call you with your referral information, with an office that busy I can only imagine how much work they have how many referrals they work on in a day. Anyhow over all this Medical Group is great. People make reviews about things that inreality isnt the staffs fault. Read about long waits, but most of the time the long waits are due to patients, specially those with physicals for their babies or theres always apt with kids that don't comply and all that make the Drs fall behind just saying. Also read that the waiting room is crowded and with sick people, really lol it is a clinic. I also saw a review about not receiving a call when lab results were normal. I mean why take their time away I would rather want them focusing on those lab results that are abnormal, need special attention, further testing, or even referrals to a specialist. No?? Idk but I like Santa Lucia and the staff.

I have never felt rushed or dismissed. I am treated not just as a patient, but as a human being. Dr. Sepulveda is exceptional. He takes the time to sit down with you, talk with you, and genuinely listen. He often shares experiences or stories that help you better understand what may be going on, and he makes sure to educate you about any condition he feels you may be dealing with. That level of education and explanation is incredibly important, especially when you are unsure about your health. It brings reassurance and clarity instead of confusion or fear. The medical assistants are just as wonderful. They know their patients, they are calm, professional, and never make you feel rushed just to get vitals done or move you along. The environment feels relaxed, respectful, and organized, which makes a huge difference during appointments. I have been a patient here since around 2018, and I can honestly say I have not had any issues. Early on, I did see a provider who simply was not the right fit for me. There was no disrespect or negativity, we just did not connect well. I made the decision to switch providers, and I was immediately happy with the change. That flexibility and support meant a lot. I am grateful for the care I have received over the years and highly recommend Santa Lucia to anyone looking for compassionate, attentive, and professional medical care.
