Who changes the contract you paid the $200 for by not giving me a cleaning and only giving me a polish? #Hesperia Dental Center It is only a week since I have been to Hesperia Dental Center. I paid $200 for x-rays and teeth clean. I was very upset that Hesperia Dental Center office wants to charge me $25 for EMAILING me a copy of my X-rays and it will take them 7 days to do so. I have never experienced a fee for any medical records hard copy and digital. I'm 84 years old with stage 4 cancer and they want to put me through a bone graft that is unnecessary. They want to pull my wisdom teeth which I have had all my life, unbelievable! Btw I witnessed them not only charge the couple the before treatment fee. Then come out to tell the ladies husband that they are doing a $500 procedure on her now. Husband was upset and said no we don't have the money for that. The dental assistant said they have already started. Wait, so now they change the contract because you have no way to back out. After I saw that I wanted no part of Hesperia Dental Center. #HesperiaDentalCenterunnessaryprocedure #HesperiaDentalCenterunprofessional #HesperiaDentalCenterdoesnotcarefortheirpatients #HesperiaDentalCenterunbelivable

Well... I guess my Yelp review made it into the patient notes…read more After being a patient here for YEARS and having several less-than-great experiences, I decided to do something I apparently shouldn't have done ,give them another chance. I called to schedule a simple cleaning, and before I could even get past scheduling, I was transferred to a representative who wanted to know what brought me back after my previous Yelp review. Now THAT was unexpected. Apparently, the review was memorable enough to earn its own little spot in my patient history. The representative then proceeded to explain that they would appreciate it if, in the future, I brought my concerns directly to them instead of going to Yelp. Ma'am... I DID. That's the part that seems to have conveniently disappeared from the notes. I had already expressed my concerns after my previous visit. Nothing magically improved, and apparently the appropriate response was to keep doing business as usual and hope I simply forgot about it. Let's be very clear: Yelp wasn't my first stop. It was the destination after the actual customer-service conversation went nowhere. And honestly, the irony of a dental office being more concerned about what I write about my experience than what caused me to have the experience in the first place is almost comical. If you don't want unhappy customers leaving negative reviews, perhaps focus on creating experiences that don't inspire negative reviews. Revolutionary concept, I know. I also don't understand how a business can expect loyal customers to accept sitting around 25-30 minutes past their scheduled appointment time just to be seen. I didn't schedule an appointment for "sometime around 2:30-ish, give or take." I scheduled an appointment for a specific time. And let's not forget, my time is valuable too. After being a loyal patient for years, I would expect my concerns to be taken seriously, not for me to essentially receive a warning about where I'm allowed to express my dissatisfaction. The better response would have been: "We're sorry your previous experience wasn't what it should have been. We appreciate your loyalty and would love the opportunity to make it right." Instead, I got: "So... about that Yelp review... " At this point, I'm less concerned about the fact that they keep notes and more concerned about what exactly they're learning from those notes. Loyalty is a two-way street. Customers shouldn't have to beg to be respected, and they certainly shouldn't have to choose between being heard privately and being honest publicly. If your biggest concern after a bad customer experience is where the customer posted about it, rather than why the customer was unhappy, you've completely missed the point. Anyway... I came back for a cleaning and somehow ended up getting a reminder about my Yelp history. 10/10 for record keeping. Not so much for customer service. Also in the notes was it noted I didn't receive my refund for my appt that never took place ????
