Despite downloading this "my chart" which was promised to be better, easier etc., the opposite is true. I have my results from the Imaging and other tests but my doctor doesn't. Both providers say they sent them to us at the same time. I even offered to provide them. The PFM receptionist told me I must make an appointment with a technician to retrieve my records, felt like I was being hustled for a co-pay, she seemed more concerned with the collection of a copay than resolving the problem. I paid them money on time. I showed up for the appointments on time. Patients have to navigate complicated insurance bureaucracy, pay thousands / year in premiums plus co-pay before services rendered, another copay to make an appointment to get records then another copay. I'm frustrated and confused why the patient has the test results but the doctor doesn't and the technician said they will not make an effort to get the results of the tests they ordered. I guess I will have try and interpret the results myself as Premier won't lift a finger-to get the results of the tests they ordered from the provider they sent me to. Good people in a broken system, who cares? Not the PFM reseptionist.

I went to him based off her recommendation. When I got pregnant I was so excited for our 10 week appointment. We were shocked to learn there was no heartbeat. Dr Young was so caring and empathetic, assuring me that I did nothing wrong and that sometimes miscarriages just happen. He truly could not have had better bedside manner and offered to let us leave through the back when we were ready so that we didn't have to walk through the waiting room of happy expectant moms. He then performed a D&C on me to complete the miscarriage and was so kind throughout the whole process. Fast forward a year later I got pregnant again and he was so kind of helpful throughout the entire pregnancy, always making me feel comfortable and capable. He came to deliver my baby even though he wasn't on call and he does that for all his patients. We now live 30 minutes from his office but I am pregnant again and happily making the drive to continue my care with Dr Young because he truly is the best!

I was quickly processed by the receptionists and screened for insurance information. I was then taken to "the back" and brought to an exam room. The nurse who assisted me was Jessica and she was very friendly. After taking my vitals and a short wait, PA Mark came in. He was honestly great. He explained to me the various renditions of a cold that I could be experiencing. He also thoroughly discussed the benefits of getting a flu shot with me, which I appreciated because I'm a proud annual recipient of the flu shot. Another nurse then came in to swab me for a Covid/flu test. All came back negative, thankfully. I didn't expect or want to need to access healthcare while on my trip, but this urgent care made it easy and quick--I was in and out in about an hour. I hope not to need their services next time I'm in the SLC area, but if I do, I know I'd be in good hands.

I couldn't wait that long. I finally found a great family Dr. who cares and takes the time to talk and advise me. His staff are personable and kind. When my daughter and her husband (who has type 1 diabetes) moved to Utah from out of state, they called several Dr.'s and couldn't schedule an appointment for a month or longer. Her husband ended up in the ER with DBK. I called Dr. Crop and he saw them right away, he even explained ways I could help and gave suggestions. He was genuinely concerned for my family and that means so much. They are open on the weekends, Dr Crop is there through the week but if you need to be seen there will be a Dr available. I appreciate the staff and Dr. Crop.

I made an appt after finding out that Jodi Wimmer (FNP) had hormone knowledge. I went in for the appt and when asked for my insurance card, I asked the front desk, what the cash pay option would be for an appt to figure out if it was cheaper to go through my insurance or be a cash-pay patient. The lady told me cash would have been $145 for the first appt but my "co-pay" was $105 so I decided that was the cheaper option clearly (not expecting to have an additional surprise bill in a few weeks). I met with the MA for maybe 15 mins then Jodi Wimmer came into the room, I gave her plenty of very detailed symptoms I was having and she confirmed that a bloodwork panel was the answer.. Now after having my bloodwork done twice a year for the past 4 years, I was very knowledgeable about what to expect. Typically to get cortisol/thyroid levels checked, you need to fast, so when Jodi told me that at 3 pm, I needed to go downstairs after the appt to get my blood done, I was confused and said "Don't I need to fast?" and she said "oh, yeah I guess you can, just go tomorrow morning"... Well for women, hormones need to be done on a certain time of your cycle (which I verbally told her AND her MA where I was at in my cycle). But I trusted she knew what she was talking abouts so I went in, and when I only had 2 tubes taken, I was confused because normally its like 5-10 tubes. Turns out, after getting the results back, I was told that I need to go back in to get my blood redrawn due to odd levels (because I was correct and should have gone in at a certain time in my cycle!)... That first blood draw was $150+ out of my own pocket then they expected me to go back in and be charged whatever other amount it would have cost me. The amount of money I spent, to not get answers and to not be listened to, was beyond disrespectful. She made me feel so rushed in the less than 15 mins I got to speak with her at the appt. I ended up receiving a hefty bill 3 weeks after my appt to end up paying close to $250 out of my own pocket (not including whatever the insurance paid) to speak to Wimmer for barely 15 mins. Their billing does not properly break down what you are exactly having to pay & their portal expects you to just hand over the money with no qualms.

I switched my 10 year old daughter to his care. We had been dealing with tummy issues and her old pediatrician's office always told us that it was all in her head. With her old pediatrician we only saw the actual pediatrician once. The remaining well-check visits were always done by their technicians, which I didn't like. When I switched my daughter to Dr. wise' care, he immediately knew what was wrong and what she needed done to get rid of her tummy issues. My daughter was sent to a children's hospital for a quick procedure and after that she did much better with her tummy. We never get assigned a technician, it's always him caring for his patients which is really nice. No dealing with random strangers every visit. I took one star because of their billing department. They should be able to remind you if there is a balance in your account when you bring your kids in. After our son's NICU stay, we were under the impression that his office was paid in full by our insurance. I visited I don't know how many times after my son was discharged from the NICU. As he went home on oxygen. Was never told, there was a balance. They sent us to a nasty collection agency who were rude and uncooperative when it came to the payment amount they wanted. We just barely finished paying that off but it was hectic to deal with those jerks. Any other doctor's office has reminded me that there is a balance in the account. That's nice and appreciated when you have so much on your plate already, caring for your newborn and being sleep deprived. I was upset about the whole billing department ordeal, but not enough to let it affect my decision to stick with a good pediatrician for my kids.
