Find It First, Then Wait First things first: do not trust…read moreyour GPS. Enter the address and it will drop you in a residential neighborhood with no imaging center in sight. The correct location is on the west side of American Fork Hospital. Save yourself the confusion and look it up before you go. Once you find it, the facility is clean and the staff is nice. The space looks a little dated and could use some love, but nothing that affects the quality of care. Now for the part that will test your patience. I was called back immediately after arriving, which was a good sign. I changed into the gown, was walked to the area outside the MRI room, and then waited over 40 minutes before actually going in. Sitting in a hospital gown in a hallway for the better part of an hour is not a great experience. Go in with the right expectation and a fully charged phone for the wait.

I am writing this review regarding the care my husband has received in the office and care of Dr…read more Nick Thomson, oncology. My husband was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in June of 2026. While he was in the hospital at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT, he was seen by Dr. Thomson's nurse practitioner, Woody Palmer. Due to this encounter, we had a follow up appointment with Dr, Thomson. We went to the appt. Dr Thomson appeared to be thorough in his assessment and treatment plan of my husbands diagnosis. He was very quick to prescribe pain and managment drugs even though my husband wasn't having severe pain yet. We somewhat understood. We were still trying to wrap our heads around everything that was happening so fast in our worlds. When I asked about getting a 2nd opinion at Huntsman Cancer Institute, his demeanor changed. He was very quick to respond with, "Well I studied there and I can tell you this, they are more about their research than caring for you as a patient." That was his comment. We did go to Huntsman Cancer Institute. The dr. that we met with had reviewed the biopsy, Dr. Thomson's assessment and treatment plan and was in full agreement with his plan. The dr. was very gracious and up front with us about the treatment and ins. issues etc. He told us to go where we would pay the least because the treatment and care would likely be similar if not the same. After prayer and careful thought, we opted to stay with Dr. Thomson and his team because we felt we could get the treatment we needed quicker as we already had treatment 1 scheduled and we wanted to give Dr Thomson the benefit of the doubt and my husband liked the interaction and attentiveness he received from Woody in the hospital. In the time leading up to the 1st treatment, a lot was happening in my husband's body and with all these changes, we didn't know what was coming from what, what was the new normal to expect so we needed to have someone to reach out to. They told us they have a texting line that would be the easiest to reach the nurses and get the quickest response. We did not find this helpful as we were not able to reach them often and on the weekends it was terrible. Nobody to reach and they don't even work on Mondays so it was even a longer weekend. We ended up having to go to ER several times because we were not able to get our questions answered or resolved through their office. Again everything is new and a whole lot to process so we give them the benefit of the situations and figure we have to learn to live in this new age of AI bots and telephone systems of no real people. Each treatment is 3 weeks a part. We had the first treatment with no problem. You just go in their treatment room and their nurses give the treatment. The nurses were Kind but not super warm and friendly. The 2nd treatment comes, 1/2 way through they had to stop the treatment because my husband was having severe pain. The nurse reacted immediately and professionally. Within 20 minutes, the pain was reduced from 8-3 and the treatment was restarted. Shortly after restarting, Woody came in and explained that there is a serious situation in the calcium level in the blood draw done prior to the start of treatment 2. He said it is very serious and we need to go to the hospital. He said that they could give the medicine needed there in the office, but they couldn't because they would need to recheck it the following day which would be a Saturday and nobody would be in office to check it. We took him seriously and said that we would go to the VA emergency in SLC. Which we did and did spend 2 days in the hospital getting treated to bring it down. Here is my issue. In the time since July 31, the 2nd treatment. Nobody from Dr. Thomson's office has contacted us in any way. In the records that Woody wrote regarding the situation, he wrote in it that he would follow up. He has not. AND NOBODY ELSE FROM THIS OFFICE HAS EITHER. This IS unacceptable behaviour from any Dr. or their teams. My husband is,or should I say WAS now, their patient who had a serious medical situation happen in their office and they did not even CARE enough to check on him after the weekend nor up to today which is now 16 days past the situation. And Dr. Thomson had the audacity to tell us that another medical facility or dr. would not care as much as he or his team. I firmly felt from the beginning appt.that Dr. Thomson was more set on building his business but we wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now there is no doubt. He surely is more about building his business. It is my feeling after all of this, that they felt that we were going to go to the VA and that they would lose our business, therefore, they were just going to wash their hands of us at this time. They did not say this, as they have not contacted us at all. IS THIS THE KIND OF CARE AND TREATMENT THAT YOU WANT IN ONE OF LIFE'S MOST VULNERABLE MOMENTS.

Employees of Revere Health DO NO care about satisfying you, maybe some of their doctors do, but for the most part, Revere's staff does not care about you. --- I got a blood test done by LabCorp in Sandy, part of the Revere System, a day before I was to see my doctor in American Fork, The LabCorp office manager said she would send the results to the AF clinic the same day. When I arrived for my meeting the next day, the report was not there. I asked the office manager, of their Internal Medicine Clinic to look for it, and she said it was not there. I asked her to call the Lab, and she refused, saying it was not part of her job. As a result, I suffered major discomfort and pain waiting on the lab results for the next 11 days. Neither my doctor nor I have received these results, even after 11 days--after promised same-day delivery. After 10 days, I remembered having similar symptoms 25 years before, and what cured them. I took the same medicine as I did then, an over-the-counter medicine, and it cured my painful symptoms. LabCorp brags about offering high-tech solutions, but still uses faxes and snail mail to deliver results. They flatly refuse to email the results. They spend thousands of dollars on their test equipment, but zero dollars to improve the delivery of their results, even for equipment that will reduce a patient's time in pain or discomfort. Apparently LabCorp does not care about you, especially if you need ANYTHING done out that is even slightly out of the ordinary. Their attitudes towards patients suck, especially when you ask for something they promised and did not deliver. They really don't want to talk to you--their customer service department has an unlisted number. It is 800-788-9738 Revere has a similar pattern; if they can't bill for a service, even a minor request, it simply won't happen, unless you make it more painful for them to ignore you rather than deliver what they promised. This however, takes time, time that patients are in discomfort or pain. -- I had a burning mouth problem, which a Revere ENT treated with a prescription. When it ran out, they took 10 days to OK a refill--ten days of my mouth burning in pain. Revere's office manager said they had sent an Ok to the pharmacy but the pharmacy said they had gotten nothing, five days in a row. I was able to get a refill only after having a conference call with both the pharmacy and the doctor's nurse on the line, which took an hour to set up and conduct. The doctor's nurse finally said she would send "another" approval to the pharmacy, when the doctor returned in 5 days. I said that if I did not get the approval that day, I would tell the world just how uncaring their patient care actually is. That day, they found a doctor outside the clinic to approve the refill. Again, if you need any service slightly out of what Revere Health or LabCorp does on a routine basis, DO NOT count on it happening, especially if Revere can't bill for it, immediately. Their system is set up to manage only their immediately billable, routine services, delivered according to THEIR routines. They apparently care most about making money and doing only what they have to. Based on ten years of receiving their care, I have learned this; they do not care about you, in the slightest. Their mission is simply making money, as fast as possible and at lowest cost.

Is this a title loan company?? Wowza! My father is on social security and doesn't have a lot of money. I ask for them to waive the change. "Sorry! Understanding and feelings aren't part of business, we have policies" Ive never heard anything so cold. Ouch!! Unfortunately you don't always get to shop around when you desperately need medical attention but unless its a matter of life and death we will never go back. I wonder if this is why they are changing their name.

Despite downloading this "my chart" which was promised to be better, easier etc., the opposite is true. I have my results from the Imaging and other tests but my doctor doesn't. Both providers say they sent them to us at the same time. I even offered to provide them. The PFM receptionist told me I must make an appointment with a technician to retrieve my records, felt like I was being hustled for a co-pay, she seemed more concerned with the collection of a copay than resolving the problem. I paid them money on time. I showed up for the appointments on time. Patients have to navigate complicated insurance bureaucracy, pay thousands / year in premiums plus co-pay before services rendered, another copay to make an appointment to get records then another copay. I'm frustrated and confused why the patient has the test results but the doctor doesn't and the technician said they will not make an effort to get the results of the tests they ordered. I guess I will have try and interpret the results myself as Premier won't lift a finger-to get the results of the tests they ordered from the provider they sent me to. Good people in a broken system, who cares? Not the PFM reseptionist.
