Jerry quickly confirmed that the gas cap needed to be replaced. He ordered me one and $30.00 later I was out the door with no diagnostic fee charged. I took my truck in to have cooling system flushed and new motorcraft antifreeze(provided by me)…read moreput in. I was hesitant to allow them to do the work after finding out that they use tap water instead of distilled or better yet de-ionized water(automobile industry recommended). The problem with tap water is it will induce corrosion throughout the entire engine cooling system. I wasted $200 bucks between labor and antifreeze. I will now go to Tri-cities to a business that will drain/flush and replace antifreeze with distilled water(2 weeks after Autokool did their inferior work) another couple hundred bucks but peace of mind. Also the person that was bothered to get away from his newspaper to work on my truck, used a worm screw clamp where the reusable clamp that applies equal pressure to the hose had been(charged me for the inferior clamp he put on) either he's not smart enough to remove the new style clamps and reuse or? Anyway he completed his hack job in about 40 minutes and got right back to his newspaper. Must of been a good article because he couldn't be unconvinced to discuss the work he performed. In May of 2021 purchased a 2017 MKX Lincoln from Tom Denchel's Ford and purchased the warranty for…read more85,000 miles or 72 months. paying $4,250 for the complete coverage with the $100 disappearing deductable. Was told by he financing representative with Tom Denchel's Ford it was a bumper to bumper coverage. Today when I went to pick up my car from Tom Denchel's was told that the rear shocks were leaking and need to be replaced and it would be $821.60 and it would not be covered in the warranty even though they verified I did still have the Complete warranty coverage. They also charged me $105.94 for this diagnosis however I told them when I took it in for the warranty work we had the $100 deductible. Needless to say I took it to a repair shop in Pendleton to have them replaced and they charged $250.00 for the replacing of the shocks labor included. BEWARE OF TOM DENCHEL'S FORD warranty policys! So much for their advertising we are family orientated!

Even with the delay, they got my car done 2 weeks before the shop I was gonna go with would've been able to start. End of the day the car looks great and they even stayed late to get my car completed a day early and looking better than before thay deer jumped out in front of me.
