Our RV tow car (Ford Focus) experienced some issues when we stayed in Hermiston. The "check gas cap" and emissions dashboard lights were on. I called Fenders By Enders and Pam explained that I should check the rubber seal on my gas cap. She also mentioned their $90.00 diagnostic fee and I made an appointment to bring it in the next day. Jerry quickly confirmed that the gas cap needed to be replaced. He ordered me one and $30.00 later I was out the door with no diagnostic fee charged. I cannot say enough about these people and their customer care, service and genuine concern for helping people who have vehicle needs. A while back I broke down just out side of Hermiston on I-84 with a very obvious/simple problem, one I understood and knew how to fix; but did not have the parts or tools needed. I was towed into a shop and in trying to talk with them about the problem they would not listen to me nor did they seem to care about me needing to get back home to my son as I was a single father. One of the issues was that the nearest BMW was an hour+ away and they would have to order one of the parts and it was going to take 5-8 to get it; the only way to get all of the three parts needed was to special order them off an OEM BMW website and have them drop shipped over night to the shop; the first shop would not agree to this being done despite my willingness to even have the shop add a "fee" to the parts so they could make a little money on the parts. I then called Fenders and they listened, were understanding of the problem and were gracious enough to agreed for me to drop ship the parts to them with the agreement that they could not warrenty the parts (totally understandable) and they would do the work. I had my car towed to their shop and then we looked at the car together and it was decided that yes, it strongly appeared to be the problem I thought it was and that with the ordered parts the issue should be resolved; of course we all agreed that there could be some additional undiscovered porblem that might need to be addressed once they got into the vehicle repair. They gave me a ride back to my hotel and told me they would call me the next day after the parts arrived. The next day they called me, said the parts had arrived and that they could find no other problems and that my vehicle would be done in about an hour and that they would come and pick me up. My car was done before Noon , they came and picked me up and I was on my way home. I hope that others find these owners and business and get to experience their quality service, and genuine care for people; that this rating/endorsement is used to avoid the original hassle and extreme poor service I experienced with the other shop in town on the main street with high visibility. All I can say is communities need more people like these folks and we need more business like this one! There are not enough "stars" on here to give them the recommendation they deserve, THANK-YOU for caring about me and helping me get back on the road with a high quality of customer service, and job well done on my vehicle, and a price that was reasonable!
