Yes, I did receive my "Winter Detailing" in May that I ordered in March. Also, I have NEVER paid the tax on a Groupon before. That also wasn't mentioned to me on the phone. While the work itself was fine, they took my aftermarket floor mat out of the vehicle and did not return it. I contacted them to see if they just misplaced it but they didn't know what I was talking about and said they would call me back but have not done so. Don't go here. Life is far too short. read more

I found and read these reviews today when I went online simply to find and remind myself of Johnny's phone number so that I could schedule appointments for detailing my family's two cars. I was shocked to see some poor reviews. I can't question the experience these other customers had, and I've never used a Groupon at Johnny's. What I have done is take both cars to Johnny each and every year for his full interior and exterior detailing service, and each time I'm completely impressed that the cars come out looking brand new. I am totally satisfied with the work and service I receive at Johnny Buffit's and recommend him to friends often. Once I even had a maintenance appointment for one car at the dealer shortly after having it detailed by Johnny. The person at the dealer who is responsible for portering and prepping new cars for customers asked me where I'd had it detailed because he had never seen a car that was a few years old as our was look so perfect and new. I completely trust and rely on Johnny Buffit's to service and detail my cars and will continue to do so. read more

I went here based on a recommendation of a friend. The crew was very nice but I was not happy with the service I received. I made the appointment on a Wednesday for Saturday . As I was there in person I saw that I was the only person scheduled. I dropped off the truck at 845 Saturday morning and was told it would be ready at 1pm. Well I received several calls extending the time even asking if I could pick it up Monday!! What was I supposed to drive to work!? I ended up picking it up at 430 Saturday and was told they overbooked! Well I was the only one listed did the take others ahead of me? The job was ok for the price but not complete. Woke up at 8AM with my car window mash out, writing this review just over 24 hours later and it is fixed. Made about three calls locally based off google results and Facebook reviews(which Johnny Buffit's is 4.9/5) and Johnny was the lowest by over 20% total. Kept me posted via text, which i liked, and did the job overnight for me and had it ready in the morning. Cleaned it out real nice and everything. Real nice guy just running a fair business, even gave me tips of how to solve another car issue I had without trying to add on to the bill. Looking for a quick fix I highly recommend! read more

I purchased a Groupon for detailing of my Rogue. I redeemed it yesterday and at pick up I have to say you get what you pay for. They didn't even wipe down parts of the interior or the back hatch area. I wouldn't take my vehicle there again. Go elsewhere. read more

I was supposed to have my car detailed today at Johnny Buffit's, however when my wife went back to pick up the car at 3 it wasn't even started yet. I understand that it's Mother's Day weekend, but don't take appointments if you can't keep them. I would advise against buying a discount promotion on Amazon for this business, unless you like being treated as a 2nd class customer! We are very disappointed with this service!! read more

I'm surprised to see negative reviews for Johnny's. I've had three different cars detailed here, many were done multiple times. I also live in the area, his lot is always packed and he has plenty of business. Johnny always gets me in, usually in less than 48hrs, picks me up once it's complete and I couldn't be happier. They offer interior and exterior detailing. I'm going for a clay bar for my spring detailing. I've shopped around, his prices are the best, the car is always done on time and I'm always thrilled with the end result. Johnny has a great market with many DT condo complexes nearby, I was originally recommended to him and have since recommended him to a number or neighbors! read more

I had them detail my pickup truck. The overall job was mediocre at best. But they never even touched the console between the front seats. I'm talking about the top surface, not even the inside. On an F-250, its not an easy thing to miss. Its probably over a foot wide, and runs the length of the seats. And not that they cleaned it poorly. It was never even touched. One thing that they DID touch which bothered me was on their exterior cleaning. The fuel filler door closes against rubber bumpers which holds the fuel filler door flush with the surface of the side. They buffed all the rubber bumpers off and left the fuel filler door closed a good inch inside of flush with the side of the truck. I had to go to the Ford dealer and purchase a new package of rubber bumpers to make it all look normal again. Clearly nobody there took the time to look over their work and make sure they had completed it and hadn't damaged anything. This is probably the reason they are always on Groupon. read more
