He'll put on a video and when it ends, we have to wait between 5 and 15 minutes for him to come back. This is excruciating. It's like detention. The class started 45 minutes late. Then we spent a full hour on introductions- 20 people going around the room stating their name and why they were here. Then Kaz gave each individual person advice- "get a lawyer" were his words of wisdom for most people. "Drive better" was his response for everyone else. If you're looking to actually learn anything from a driving class, don't come here. If you just want to get the certificate and don't care about your experience, go for it. Kaz is a professional and an expert at colossally wasting people's time. Don't get me wrong. I'm here because I got a speeding ticket and the court mandated that I take a driver improvement class. If this class were offered by the DMV and it was free, then all of this BS would be fine. I especially love Rae. + Owner is also a great teacher- for me this is awesome, anyone could have bought this franchise but she bought it knowing exactly what she was doing. I know she trains the staff well. There was one time she was kind of condescending with me but I am going to give that a pass. + Not much staff turn over. These aren't college or HS kids these are professionals who appear to enjoy their job + The brain breaks are really cool. I love the idea of working hard to earn a bit of a break some moving around getting the blood flowing. They say that the breaks use both sides of the brain-- this is probably not a big deal but still a creative idea. + Someone will answer the phone even in off hours. - I am not totally sure how science proven the teachings are. I know that they only compare the kid's test at the beginning to test at the end, and that it's not a test that is credentialed for any kind of learning organization. For this reason I find it hard to assume that going to a learning rx would help a kid advance in class. It's not normal tutoring it is truly "brain training". - Sometimes communication is poor with scheduling. Have to ask several times and get things in writing to change/cancel/add a class.

I have no choice but to go through Pearson Vue for my professional licensing exam, as that is the…read moreonly testing center used by the professional organization that manages licenses in my field. I receive disability accommodations for testing, and have previously dealt with Pearson Vue for my initial license; during that first experience in 2022-2023, I experienced NO issues at all. It was simple to schedule and even reschedule my test by contacting the company by phone. Now, in 2026, the experience has completely changed. I was initially told to use an online form to schedule with Pearson Vue, and after submitting it twice within a two week period, I assumed that the form link must have been broken, as no one ever responded. Then I tried calling using the phone number in the scheduling email; I called multiple times and each time waited for over 30 minutes for someone to answer, and no one ever did. I resorted to contacting my professional licensing organization to figure out how to proceed. I have now been back and forth between Pearson Vue and my professional licensing organization by email OVER and OVER again; each time my licensing organization contacted Pearson Vue, I would get a response within the hour. However, Pearson Vue did not take into account my indicated needs for scheduling based on the limitations of my work schedule ~ I said the same thing over and over again, and they disregarded that, offering me days of the week for testing that were outside of my clearly indicated parameters. Each time I declined a testing day that was not on the day of the week I need, they tossed me back into the cue, and this process has been continuing for WEEKS at this point. If I did not have testing accommodations, it seems that I could simply select a date from an online scheduling system and be done. This absurd process so far has been beyond frustrating, and something has gone WAY downhill with Pearson Vue. Finally today after contacting my professional organization AGAIN, I got an offer that met my parameters, and was told to CALL by phone to confirm... which I attempted to do, but again, I waited 30 minutes without anyone ever answering the call, so I have attempted to confirm by email. What is even more frustrating is that my offered testing date is more than FIVE months away. By that time it will have been nearly a year since I started the process of submitting my materials for this licensure test. What a racket!!! At this point, I can't WAIT to pass this test and never have to engage with Pearson Vue ever again. They are the absolute worst.

The staff does not deviate from protocol or their required scripts unless you ask a question. I wasn't allowed to wear my Nike rain jacket because they said it would make a swoosh sound, but they offered me jackets that had been left at the facility "months ago." I didn't like that the testing center has a weird "musty basement" smell. I like that this testing center is pretty small compared to others I've went to. There's less than 20 computers in the room and they're all against the wall so you're in your own zone. My test lasted 2 fairly quiet hours. When I finished the proctor didn't tell me if I passed or failed but have a little smile that was reassuring. I would come back to this test center because of the small space and testing privacy of the cubicles.
