After using another company for my pre-licensing courses which had multiple 3-hour sessions, I was skeptical with this being only one, 3.5 hour class. Well, turns out I had nothing to worry about. Paco was the man and the way he taught the class was awesome. Easily passed my specialty exam and am now fully licensed. Will definitely be using Contractor Exam Preparation, LLC again when I test for other specialties and other state licenses as I expand my business.

Once he has your money he could care less how your child is doing. This place has false advertising and what you see is not what you will get. We signed up for a prep course only to find out we would not be taught the material that was signed up for. They basically "teach" whatever they want and for the price you pay this is unfair and unprofessional. For example, at PLC prep, they only have one tutor. This tutor has another full time job and so she is very busy, and has very limited hours to coordinate with you. They do not tell you this when you are signing up. Also, you cannot reach her for anything. For instance, if you want to ask her updates on how your child is doing or what they studied that day, you will not get any of that information. She will tell you she is too busy and that you need to contact the owner. She shows up tired, over worked (from her other job) and is very unenthusiastic about her tutoring job. When you pay $100 plus for a tutor this is not what you should get!!! I understand if she is tired but then we should be given the option to not continue. The owner is equally unhelpful. This is a toxic environment where the owner is yelling and it is in no way conducive to learning. The building is also very run down and should be shut down. DO not believe the pictures you see online. Your child will be in a small cramped up room with no ventilation and no proper desk or chair. Everything is a scam and is a lie. There are many other centers out there to choose from and are run very differently and are up to par. I really hope this review helps people NOT to choose this place because I fell for the scam and signed up online without knowing the facts about this place. Other centers want to see your children thrive and have a variety of tutors and timings to fit your needs. Unfortunately this is not the case with PLC prime learning center. They just want your money and that is it. The tutor is condescending and could not be bothered with. I hate to write bad reviews but I'm just appalled at their behavior especially in front of children. I don't understand how they are still in business.

From the initial visit Mrs. Jaime put me at ease. She was so warm and genuinely friendly I soon came to know that the entire staff is this way. Not sure about non walkers but I've seen other people bring babies in and it seems fine. They don't do diaper changes so they'll either call or physically find you if there's a bowel movement so I wasn't comfortable swimming but weights, walking or group classes seem fine. You can bring a snack (without peanuts) and drinks to make the transition easier. I guess I've seen some parents bring a meal like pizza. As others have said it's not as premium of an experience as Lifetime or Worldgate but it has a pleasant neighborly feel. Really wish the pool had a bigger leisure area for kids. It's mostly overrun by lap swimmers whenever I've visited.

The trainer was also very helpful in assisting us with dedicating one lane of the track to the applicants. I would love to work out here. I didn't do a full tour, but I never met a gym I didn't like! There was plenty of equipment and again, the indoor track is a plus. I saw women in what appeared to be an aerobics class and I must say, that room is huge! There's plenty of space for anybody who wants to join a class. It's also very bright and airy. I see that they also have childcare which is huge! I saw them playing outside. It appears to be a pretty spacious area. Some kids were down on the basketball court going through a workout. Too cute. But yeah, I'm a fan of the Y and this one looks pretty inviting.

We have been at Eye Level Fair Ridge since 2016. It started out with just our daughter (then 6…read moreyears old) attending to help her with understanding key math skills. We have tried other learning centers, but none compare to what the teachers here did for her. My husband and I did not know why our child just didn't understand simple math, as we explained it to her and she learned it at school. The curriculum, patience and approach at Eye Level is well suited for children of all ages. We used to struggle with how to help our child and now she is independent in completing her own homework. The teachers have noticed the improvement in her skills and confidence as well. Our son soon started attending. He does well in school, but he saw how his sister enjoyed the eye level classes, so he asked to attend so that he could improve his Reading Comprehension and writing skills. Since he started the English portion, he has not only gained confidence in his writing abilities, but he has improved his comprehension skills. Our kids enjoy going to Eye Level every week. Mr. Vijay, Ms. Eunice, and Ms. Pooja are very good at keeping the pace with children and making it very fun and an interactive environment to learn.

We decided to enroll our son at Montessori of Chantilly because after going through a long list of…read morepreschools in the area, I really did not find a place that "felt right and safe" specially during COVID except for this one. I communicated with Ms. Kaltun, the director and I must say, after speaking to her once, I was "sold" at putting my son at her school. She is very personable, very kind and understanding, genuine and just listened to my questions, concerns and answered them confidently which gave me peace of mind sending my son over to a school during the pandemic. We then went to the school for a tour and met Ms. Komala, our son's primary teacher. At first meeting, our son felt very comfortable with her and he never forgot her name even tho it took us about 4 months before starting in class- she sure gave him a good impression and really showed us how much she cared for the children. I have so much good things to say about the school. I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers who also had good experience with them. Overall, this is a place that cares about our children, they do not look at them as numbers like all the others. If you want quality education and a safe place for your children, this is it.

Her reading comprehension is strong and her attention is much improved. The thing that I really appreciate about the teachers is the fact that they want to learn more about the respective cultures of the student body so that they can prepare them for the diverse world that exists outside of the school. My daughter is part of such a warm and welcoming environment, so much so that they even invited parents to come in and contribute towards a special event yesterday to better understand and appreciate the importance of Lunar New Year to my family and the other families that celebrate. As a dad, I will always be thankful for that. Highly recommend.
