By the end of these programs, students, including myself, cannot remember a single piece of valuable information. This score was a massive 300-point improvement from my PSAT that I took the year before. Initially, Jen's class helped me to familiarize myself and solve the different types of reading, grammar, and math questions, giving me the initial bump to the 1450 range on a practice test. Then, she taught me to be more vigilant regarding the more deceptive questions, ultimately allowing me to get consistent scores in the mid to high 1500s on the College Board practice SATs. At first, I wasn't able to even complete the first few questions in a practice test and after learning and studying was able to complete the entire test and do well on it. This is not just the sit down and stare at practice tests all day tutoring spot. They teach why the answer is the answer and why other answers are not the correct one. They really do help the ins and outs of the test, showing you SAT tricks and tips as well. The people there motivate you to work harder and do your best. I never liked studying as a kid and to be honest, who does as a kid, but going to tutor was a fun time. There is laughter and fun there, but don't get me wrong, studies do come first. It is not a place I would dread to go to. Its a place where I met new people that I now consider family. She also helped me in my normal high school classes, where I struggled in some math and science. Shes a huge help and got me through some tough times.
