After studying for GMAT on and off on my own for a couple years and seeing disappointing exam…read morescores, I had to try something else. It was November, and I wanted to make sure that I can get the score that I was aiming for in order to apply in April. At first I had no idea what to expect from working with a tutor. However, looking back on the journey now, I cannot imagine going through the process without Stuart's support. He was always an invaluable resource and guide, supporting and encouraging me every step of the way. For the GMAT preparation, Stuart really helped me stay focused on areas that are truly important and improve on areas where I had trouble. He clearly explained and broke down complex concepts in a way that I can understand and grasp the core underlying ideas. His insights and strategies also helped me approach different types of problems with more confidence. Just after 2 months, I took the exam in January and achieved my personal highest score, an increase of 100 points. After the exam, I also worked with Stuart to prepare for essays, resume, and interview. We worked through brainstorming sessions that really helped me think through the different ideas and build a clear and cohesive story. With every edit, Stuart really made everything shine and crystal clear. Stuart is truly excellent, and I could not have asked for a better tutor. I highly recommend working with Stuart.

I only had three sessions with him, but I'm sure if someone had multiple sessions with Stuart, it would be even more beneficial. I'm the type of person who thoroughly researches before choosing a private tutor, and I would recommend Stuart to anyone taking the GMAT!

We sent our daughter to CHMS for three years, and we'd do it again without hesitating…read more The education is excellent. She left reading and doing math at a level we couldn't have imagined for a five-year-old. What makes it work is that CHMS makes learning feel fun and intuitive rather than forced. Some of our most cherished memories of these years are of her coming home excited to show off something she'd written or a math puzzle she'd cracked. The administrators, teachers, and staff are friendly, accessible, and accountable. Communication is consistently clear, an app makes messaging simple, and our questions have always gotten thoughtful answers. When there's a bumped head or a similar incident, we hear about it promptly and in real detail. Not once in three years did we wonder whether our daughter was safe, whether her time was being spent well, or whether someone who cared about her was paying attention. The school also hosts back-to-school nights where parents meet one-on-one with their child's teacher, along with other chances to observe your child at work in the classroom -- a rare gift, and something we'll always be glad we got to see. The community events are lovely. The children put on a concert every winter and spring, and there's an annual pizza party and a trike-a-thon where the kids show off their cycling skills while raising money for a good cause. These are the occasions where we got to watch our daughter with her classmates and teachers and see how much she'd grown. CHMS is thoughtful about food, too. A monthly calendar lays out exactly what's being served each day, the meals are genuinely healthy, and lunch here meaningfully broadened the range of foods our daughter will try at home. CHMS has never been merely a place that watched our child during the workday. It's a caring educational community that helped her flourish, and one we've felt privileged to be part of. We'll miss it dearly as we head off to kindergarten this fall -- though we're thrilled at how ready she so clearly is for what comes next.

We are so grateful our kids had such a wonderful experience and recommend CHMS to any parent looking for an exceptional early childhood experience!

Price wise, it's unbeatable in this area. As far as what the price gets you...well a student edition that's slower and therefore abridged. There's a lot they simply don't have time for as the student tries to rush through everything in about 45minutes. The first time takes longer as there's a review of your intake forms, and a discussion on what products to use during this facial. After cleansing, an instructor comes in to check your skin and advise the student on what to do and what products to use. I found this process useful for determining what products I should and should not use. I came back and scheduled with the same student just to get an idea of how much my skin might've improved after following the instructors advice. Very useful. They student double cleanses while streaming your skin. There's always makeup removal even though I've tried telling them I have permanent makeup and no additional makeup on. I really wished they would add this to their chart so we can just skip all this "makeup removal" when no makeup is worn. Anyway, after double cleansing there's an inspection, in my case exfoliation, a mask, and then some treatment as necessary. I assume not everyone has the same treatment as we have different issues to address. Overall the rooms and tables are comfortable. They play pleasant music. It's meant to be a relaxing spa experience. However, as they don't have any lymphatic massage included, or bring any of the facial down to your neck/chest, it really feels a little j complete. There's also not been any extraction even though estheticians usually would extract.

Her level of knowledge with problem/acne skin has impressed me. As someone who has tried almost everything in the industry and visited countless dermatologists for years to treat my face, I've never been treated with such great attention to my skin and such a personalized action plan. She has been working to lighten my hyperpigmentation and I already see great improvement. I've done regular facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. Now that my hyperpigmentation has been improving, I hopped over to their location next door (the Esthetic Laser Clinic, not to be confused with Esthetic Institute-where the students are) and got microneedling (Skinpen) done. I am excited to see the results. The Esthetic Laser clinic is the real deal and it is not done by students. Pricing for the Esthetic Institute is wonderful, especially for this area where everything seems to be on the higher end. I'm sad to be moving from the area soon but I know that anytime I'm back in town, a trip to the esthetic Institute will be on my list!
