I don't know what more I could ask for in a service situation…read more I submitted a Yelp request for service on my Maytag dryer that wasn't heating up so 6 service professionals respond, but SMA was able to do same day service and work with my schedule. The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.

They were able to come out within a couple of days of hiring them and brought the needed repair items with them; no "oh we need to run out to shop/store/warehouse to get such and such" to drag out the repair time and try to charge extra or require a 2nd visit. The technician was done in about two hours after replacing the rollers and giving the insides a thorough cleaning. Dryer is working like new. Looked up the parts he replaced and the $290 price was quite reasonable, would definitely use again.

The delivery process went great - The gentleman from the apparent outside contracted delivery service were kind and careful. After installation it was found that Maruszczak Appliance did not include/forgot the refrigerators filter, which comes standard with purchase. As a result the delivered refrigerator screen is showing red error messages along with no running water/ice As the filter is needed for said function. Purchase was made on a Thursday, delivered on Saturday morning. Gentleman who installed said they would reach out and have a representative deliver the filter same day. After doing my own due diligence after not hearing any follow up, I called in and spoke With a Maruszczak representative, who offered no apology. Simply stated that I myself could make the drive to pick Up the filter today or would have to wait until Monday for someone to be able to drop one off. Perhaps I expected too much, but when you pay in full for an appliance along with a delivery and install fee, don't you expect to receive said appliance in its full working condition? I simply asked if I took the time to make the trip up today, could a spare filter then be included -"Nope." We love the fridge, but The reality is we will be looking at red error messages and no water/ice feature for the duration of the weekend because The company we purchased through failed to assure it was installed or present prior to its delivery preparation.

After making an appointment with someone else, someone I assume is Roger called me finally. The call did not go well. He then said "Oh, yeah...I was just about to call you back about that"...to which I responded, I needed the work done, and 20 hours had passed. He then said he didn't respond because I left the message "after hours"... I pointed out: I left the message at 10AM the previous day. He then acquiesced and stubbornly said "have a nice day". If you want business, return messages. If you want business, make sure you have a single phone number people can reach you at. (there's about 3 for this guy if you search the web)...but most importantly, if you want business...don't argue with a potential customer, or make excuses. Part of being in the service business, or any business is the skill of knowing when to own your mistakes. This was a pretty ridiculous experience.

(Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. But, Fuse did not ask me to write my review.
