I've often felt rushed during eye exams in the past, and my prescriptions never seemed quite right. Dr. Casagrande completely changed that--he took the time to thoroughly assess my vision and made sure everything was dialed in. My eyesight has never been clearer, and I truly appreciated how committed he was to getting it right. On the retail side, this is where they fall short. Neither of our glasses orders were completed anywhere near the promised timeline. My wife's glasses are on track to be almost two weeks past the promised delivery date. They send you a text saying you can check your order here and it never updates past accepted and for my wife her order couldn't be found. So their portal is useless. I'd recommend using the eye doctors here but avoiding the retail side altogether--they come across as unprofessional, and when orders are delayed, follow-up calls make you feel like an inconvenience. Expect long hold times if you call, and if they say they'll call you back, don't rely on it. This was my first experience here. I don't know if I will return as I don't know if I want to deal with using a separate retail outlet to order my glasses.

They then requested another appointment so they could make sure they fit. The problem is the wanted to charge another $170 for that visit. That wouldn't have been covered through insurance. They said they sometimes need 3 fitting appointments for contacts which I never had to do before let alone be charged a fitting fee each time. They then kept trying to pressure me into buying glasses which I didn't want to use my insurance for since I get glasses or contacts. I told them I wanted contacts only and they kept showing me glasses saying I really should have glasses too. Ultimately, I got screwed because I used my yearly visit to get a contact fitting which they won't finalize the prescription without multiple visits which are charged the fitting fee. I have to go somewhere else to get contacts and will have to pay out of pocket for the fitting since this place likes to make people pay multiple visits for a fitting fee.
