Since staring a new position at work I'm constantly looking at a computer screen and I've noticed some vision changes. I called 3 weeks ago and they gave me the earliest date and time. Arrived today about 7mins before they officially opened at 8am. They have self check in kiosks for both Fog Remington and Insight Vision Center. Easy to use they provide the instructions in English and in Spanish. You simply provide your information, Scan your DL and they also ask for a payment card. The waiting room is a good size and has many seats. The ladies at the front counter are nice. Noticed that people do try to check in with them but they would redirect them to the self service kiosks. I was called back about 10mins later. Dr.Lu is my doctor she's kind and knowledgeable, listened my concerns. My appointment as a whole lasted about 30mins. The place is clean and everyone was friendly.

Since the treatment was at 5:00 PM, I went home chalking it up to my first experience with this type of treatment. When I woke up the next day, my vision was still blurry so I immediately contacted the med spa via email phone call. When they didn't call me back, I had to seek treatment from an optometrist. I've never been to Dr. Yamamoto's office, but she came highly recommended by a few family members and she got me in the same day. She ran extensive tests and was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I was so grateful that she got me in last minute and helped me figure out what was going on. Her clinic was clean and chic and the front office was warm and welcoming. I also appreciated that she has her own eye glass shop. Having this terrible experience with a med spa was actually a blessing in finding my new optometrist.

Every year, I've received nothing but kind, professional, and attentive care. What makes this clinic truly special is the personal touch. Dr. Tovey consistently goes above and beyond, even giving me extra contacts at no charge. It's that level of generosity and genuine care that has earned him a permanent place in my heart. It was a joy then when I went to get glasses or an exam. Dr. Sivas was always attentive and friendly and made the process enjoyable. He would talk to me about life, career, and family. When they moved, I lost track of them initially and went for my examinations else where. Found out later they just moved down Kings Canyon some more. Went it, booked an appointment and I was ready to go. Came in for my appointment on the later date and sat there waiting for someone to greet. There was no receptionist for 15 minutes. Finally told her I'm here for an appointment and she told me to wait. It took over an hour maybe an hour and a half to get brought in. Waiting time wasn't pleasant whatsoever. Moving on, did the examination and choose my frames and then waited a few weeks. When it was time to pick them up, I waited about an hour until I was brought in for fitting. The last straw was the second appointment. Came in and was told to sit down and wait. Only 1 person was in the lobby ahead of me so I thought it wouldn't take too long. 2 people then arrived after me waited less than I did and was brought in. I don't know if they had an earlier appointment or had better insurance than I did but waiting 2 hours was upsetting. Haven't been back here in over 5 years still hesitant to ever coming back. Currently looking for another optometrist, so it reminded me of this place.. Missed the good old days when they actually cared for their customers. Wasn't really on Dr. Sivas but more so his wife. I hope they read this and change for the better. And I won't give them a one star.
