The problem with this company is that it is so disconnected from each other, because they operate…read moremultiple offices, that it causes unnecessary delays treatment of patients. Even when they receive correct paperwork, different offices won't be updated for days until 'owner' decides to make it available. They operate two offices with single email and fax number. This causes delays when the main office doesn't update other offices in a timely manner. This can lead to receptionist not knowing what is going on without the proper information. They should add Fax number for each office so Doctor's can send faxes to each one as needed.

I'm not too sure about the closing hours as I have not been there at that time. Such awesome service with Ashlyn - Jinn and Hero. All are great. The space is clean and up to date You can text for appointments after being established. They also give a printout with the times of the sessions I have to say this is the best physical therapy location I have received services from.

A customer's experience with such personalized service usually banks on their relationship with their therapist. In this case, we are fortunate to be aligned with Summer. She's a pro - patient, clear in her exercise instructions, encouraging (yet firm), and flexible with some of our last minute scheduling issues (Niu Valley is quite a commute from Moanalua). The facility is right behind Jack in the Box on Kalanianaole Hwy; the light at the left turning lane can try your patience. Parking during lunch hour can be a little challenging; fortunately it is very large parking lot shared by other businesses. They do a nice job with scheduling/changing your appointments, and the email reminders really do help (as does the $50 penalty if you cancel in less than 24 hours). All in all, the experience of going through this form of PT along with the physical exertion without impact to your joints is definitely worthwhile!

Dr. Dean Yoshimoto is AMAZING!!!…read more My mom has been suffering from extreme knee pain for some time now, and even seeing a sports medicine doctor and physical therapists back at home in Chicago, nothing was working - the pain was still there, if not more so, and there was never a clear answer or a treatment plan that was offered by any of the specialists. Here comes Dr. Yoshimoto, who literally decreased my mom's knee pain by 90% after 1 visit. Yes, you heard that right - 90%!!! He was extremely patient, kind, and really broke it down in terms of pinpointing what exactly was going on, what treatment was needed, and what exercises to do at home. He was so shocked and was left speechless that my mom was dealing with inept individuals all this time - clowns, I tell you! Unbelievable. You can tell that Dr. Yoshimoto genuinely cares for each of his patients. He's not the typical physical therapist who gives you some stretches to do, hooks you up to a muscle stimulating machine, and/or gives you a head pad and calls it a day. He actually tries to target the source of pain! I am so grateful that I was able to find him for my mom, and I was actually kind of serious when I told her that maybe she should consider moving to HI permanently, just for him. AHAHAHA Thank you, Dr. Yoshimoto - you are the bomb dot com! +Dr. Dean Yoshimoto! +friendly front desk

I was assigned…read moreto a therapist who was young and whose response to any comment or a question was a high giggle and a murmured "Oh, I see I see". I was assigned a bunch of exercises and she did not know how to print out instructions for me. She instead uploaded them to an app instead, which had me do some basic exercise exercises for up to three minutes. When I came back ten days later (she was unavailable before then) and I asked why they were so long, she said that was incorrect, but she didn't know how to change the routine in the app. She had me go back to my previous workout routine. So in the end, some of the issues with my shoulder did go away. But honestly, it did not inspire confidence in the quality of all the therapists. I think with some you're good with others not so good.

I've been an athlete for many years and unfortunately have dealt with my fair share of injuries. I came to Hawaii Move Lab with several lingering issues that other physical therapists were unable to fully treat, and after just a couple sessions, my pain was gone. What I really appreciated was their individualized approach. They don't believe in a "one size fits all" treatment plan. Instead, they take the approach of not only getting you healthy again, but helping you come back even stronger than before. Peter and Jamie are amazing at what they do, and they've built one of the best rehab and performance facilities on the island.

My last visit I had to keep looking for the assistant helping me. And when you go in to greet the receptionist they don't seem to hear you say good morning. Or maybe they're just too busy or have headphones. And what changed my mind about continuing with them was after all my exercises the therapist came in for a "check" and asked me "do you want me to check on your leg?" How does one answer that? Isnt that why you're seeing them? I cancelled the rest of my therapy. If I'm paying for physical therapy I should have one at least observe if I'm doing the exercises correctly or need any adjustments. They cattle people in and leave them to do whatever they need to while the therapists and assistants go to their "break room" and you can hear them chatting and laughing.
