I broke a tooth - it was a cap that…read morehe had done for me about 2 years before it broke... he pulled the tooth - was literally there for 15 minutes -- was told to let it heal and I would need an implant - and most likely a bone graph because of my age... kept getting letters from my dental insurance Cigna stating that they needed more information from him -- I would call the dentist office - tell them what Cigna said -- and again the next month would get another letter from Cigna - again requesting more information from Dr Daoud -- after this happened 4 times - I gave up and went to a new dentist -- the new dentist had it figured out in less than 10 minutes and when I started the implant/ bone graph process with the new dentist and they submitted it to my insurance to see how much they would pay -- Dr Daoud had already billed my insurance company for the bone graph -- which I NEVER had -- why would the new dentist say I needed it if I had already had it done -- I have contact Cigna several times over the last 4 months and they have also called Dr Daoud's office -- he still claims he did 'part of the bone graph'... he did none of it -- he was told by Cigna that he needed to return the $$ that they sent him and that I am owed a refund -- so far I have paid over $800 and nothing was done -- and I still can't get my took fixed unless I pay the total amount out of pocket -- in my book - this looks like insurance fraud -- billing an insurance company for work that he never did -- I really don't have any hope of getting any money back -- its just sad to me -- I am 69 years old - retired and living on a fixed income -- I am thinking that I am not the only person he has done this to... the sad thing is that I really liked him as my dentist and put alot of trust in him for me dental health -- very sad for sure !

He always gives good pointers as far as teeth/gum/sleep care that I hadn't thought heavily about previously. He is definitely interested in keeping everyone as healthy as possible preventively. After several visits (paid in full and on-time, mind you) and terrible interactions with their rude and acerbic receptionist, my wife and I are opting for another practice. While I understand she is NOT the dentist, I also understand that she is the forward facing employee, the individual you deal with constantly. I, too, assumed she was having a bad day...the first two terrible interactions (both of which my insurance was over-charged for). When I discovered my wife had had independently bad experiences with her as well, the doubt benefit was all used up. The receptionist is rude and condescending, and apparently can't bill correctly. This is hardly the first commentary on this issue. For those of you thinking that she's just a receptionist, and the Office itself is good...remind yourself that the choice of employee is important, and a reflection on the business itself. If you need a good dentist (and a pleasant and accurate bill experience), I would recommend Dr Pyke, all of five minutes East of this location. Remember, this IS a service, and its your money. On top of all of that, I had to have my wisdom teeth surgically removed. They referred me to their oral surgeon at the Fairlawn location, which was fine. However, my appointment had been made for over a week and they didn't call me regarding my insurance coverage until not even 24 hours before my appointment. It was over $1,000 and they expected me to pay it all at once, no payment plans. This isn't the first time something like this has happened with them, either. Save yourself the trouble of going to any Dental Works.
