Dr. Peric is the nicest doctor I have seen in a long time! He was efficient and thorough, took care of all my needs!!! Friendly and welcoming staff also! read more

Dr. Peric, is an amazing professional. I just want to extend my gratitude for the care and skill. My fist experience was a bum pinky finger, which my previous "Doc" recommended surgery for. However Dr. Peric refered me to a "pinky" specialist (Dr. Raven) who sent me to physical therapy and all is well. No slice, so nice. read more

The doctor has a great bedside manner and the staff are very kind courteous and helpful ! Thank you and please give everyone a raise!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Peric this morning when I accompanied my husband for his physical. My good news is that it seems Dr Peric might have seen the previous reviews about his unfriendly office staff. My husband has also mentioned the very poor office staff, HOWEVER today's nurse was kind, gentle and attentive. And making the necessary follow up appts was an easy pleasant experience. Since i was not the patient, i could easily observe Dr Peric's excellent listening skills and kind bedside manner (from my experience not all Drs are good at listening!). I have full confidence that he will continue taking good care of the love of my life. read more

Dr. Peric is super knowledgeable and possesses the lost art of taking care of his patients.

PROS: Dr. Peric is a skilled and thoughtful practitioner, who has the kind of medical background that makes him perfect for primary care. Having experience in emergency care and trauma, makes a practitioner that much better at understanding medicine in a way that many PCP's do not. I give Dr. Peric five-stars because these days it is difficult to find a physician who takes their time to listen and properly evaluate their patients-It's difficult to find one who actually makes eye contact, let's be real. CONS: The only thing I do not like is the MA (maybe she is a CNA?) who works in his office. Let me preface this by saying that I am a former 9-1-1 paramedic so I have a little more perspective as a patient. She is condescending and rude, and seems to take pleasure in spreading her misery (that sounds dramatic but seriously!). She seems sufficiently burnt-out and should consider finding a new career, in my opinion. I will give you an example: On my first visit she didn't introduce herself and seemed annoyed that I was even there. When she was putting the blood pressure cuff on my arm, she was angry at me that I couldn't turn my arm more. She said; "you have to turn. Your. Arm. Turn your arm more." I told her that was as far as my arm rotates, to which she replied with a purposely loud sigh and said; "well if you don't turn it I can't do this properly." It was incredibly uncomfortable. Side note: I want to say that it's suspicious that my BP is always 120/80... She had to do an EKG once, and wanted me to remove my shirt AND my bra. I removed my shirt but told her that I know it isn't necessary to remove my bra and that I wanted to retain my modesty and not expose my breasts. She got so mad that she loudly sighed multiple times, said things like "Jesus" under her breath, and was unnecessarily forceful when she was placing the EKG leads and electrodes. I can't explain how uncomfortable she makes me with every interaction. I don't know her name because she doesn't introduce herself or wear her badge, and when she does, she keeps it turned backwards. Let me tell you, that you have rights. And you can always consult with Dr. Peric if you want to ask a question about what she is doing. I have done 15 years worth of EKG's, and have had to remove patient's bras only a fraction of the time. I always tried to preserve my patient's modesty as much as possible, and my opinion comes from personal experience as a former medical professional. Don't let her deter you from seeing this wonderful doctor. It doesn't deter me, personally, but I feel it is necessary for me to share. If you have experienced this kind of inappropriate behavior, you are not alone. I do plan on bringing this up with Dr. Peric at our next visit. CONCLUSION: 5 stars for Dr. Peric. He is wonderful, and the type of doctor that is difficult to find. Personable, kind, knowledgeable, and he seems to really care. 5 stars at every visit with him. Here's hoping that he doesn't have retirement plans anytime soon:) read more

Dr. Peric is the best Dr in the whole world. He holds a strong value and deep care for every patient he see's, new or old, something which seems to have been lost in so many other physicians today. Not only is he an empathetic and caring Dr, he is extraordinarily smart and he has the ability to really zero in on whatever the issue might be, oftentimes being the only Dr out if several that is able to find the proper diagnosis. This I can personally attest to. After seeing 2 other physicians, Dr Peric was the only one who was able to see what was really happening to me and immediately admitted me into hospital. Had he not been caring enough to listen to me when I called him, I would have died. My son wouldn't have a mother, my husband wouldn't have a wife, my parents would have lost their daughter and my siblings would have lost their little sister...... 3 other ER's / Urgent Cares had misdiagnosed me, told me to suck it up and sent me home I won't get in to specifics but after Dr Peric admitted me and ordered tests I will tell you that I woke up 3 days later in ICU, was in hospital for 3 weeks and had a home health nurse for 6 weeks after getting home so for him to know what was happening to me just by my telling him over the phone, well, it's pretty clear to me that he knows more than the average Dr. Aside from that experience, he had been my personal physician for over 12 years. He is always so nice and so personable all of the time. I don't think I've ever seen him be in a bad mood. Oftentimes I'd get a funny joke during our visit which I totally loved! I did have some minor complaints about his staff from time to time and over the years however I must say that the last several visits the staff, all of them, have been wonderfuly kind and I really appreciate that! Dr. Peric is a phenomenal man. It is my belief that if anyone has a problem with this wonderfully kind man that they must be the kind of person that is never satisfied with anything. read more

I NEVER leave reviews, but I have never been to such an unprofessional institution, and would strongly advise others to steer clear of this doctors office. Trying to get ahold of anyone in the front office is extremely impossible. I have been calling multiple times a day for the last MONTH trying to get a surgery clearance letter. I have never met a more rude and pathetic excuse for staff in my life. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other doctor out there :) read more

I'm so happy with my experience here! Dr. Peric is professional and listens. The nurses are kind and fulfill my prescriptions immediately! Would recommend! read more

Dr. Peric is a very kind, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. Was grateful for his support and wish I could continue to have him as my PCP. His staff on the other hand is impossible to deal with. They don't care at all, they will not help you, and they make it impossible to continue seeing him. read more

Well... Dr Peric is good, however his office people are another story. They are consistently late to come to work, 45 min or more. People with appointments are waiting in the hallways. There are always the same excuses about commuting from Palmdale or Lancaster. I am not sure about you, but if I was consistently late to work, I would loose my job. I think there is a room for improvement there. Word of advice- don't get an appointment before 9 am. (Sad). read more

They do not answer calls or return call! I have been trying to schedule an appointment since beginning of March still unsuccessful. I must have left at least 5 messages. Finally I did give up calling them again! Today was my last attempt. read more

Office staff is rude and they weren't wearing masks, despite it being a mandate for health care offices and facilities in Los Angeles county. The nurse is incompetent and rude, couldn't draw my mother's blood and kept complaining about it in front of us. The doctor didn't have any of my mother's records despite having ample time before her appointment to get them from her previous doctor. Overall it was a bad experience for my elderly mother. read more

First time patient. Wonderful experience from start to finish. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Peric was very affable, funny and informative. I would defiantly recommend this office. Overall very good office visit. read more

This is the most unorganized and unprofessional medical office I have experienced. I had an appt. for a basic check up, I was on time, they made me wait 45 minutes to take my vitals, blood, urine etc. The nurse poked my veins about 8 times until she was able to draw blood. Very painful. 2 weeks later I get a call from the office saying they couldn't process my blood and had to redraw. They had made mistakes in the lab process. I set up a telehealth appt for two weeks later, 8/24/22 at 1:30 pm. I checked in after receiving a text and waiting until 1:35. I then called, no response, I kept calling until about 1:45 when I was told my the receptionist that they had just got back from lunch and he'd call me in 5 minutes. He never called me back, I kept calling until 2:30 pm and they did not pick up once thereafter. Finally at 2:46 pm the doctor called me, the call came in as Spam via my ATT caller ID. I fortunately picked up, and he spent about 3 minutes with me, not going over the specific test results, just telling me I was health and fine, nothing more. I am very nice and fair, but when you abuse me, my time, and my patience you leave me no choice but to seek whatever recourse is available. Will not go again and I recommend you dont either. read more

Finally, a doctor who is thorough, kind and who actually cares. Sadly, this is too rare! It's been literally decades since I had a doctor who, during my annual physical, actually examines my ear, nose, throat, heart, prostate, etc, measuring and testing and asking questions instead of simply filling out paperwork and rushing you out the door. I am grateful! read more

Dr. Peric was great, funny and a good doctor. His staff are the most disrespectful people i've ever had to deal with. his "nurse".. idk if terrible is a strong enough word for her. i can't think of one that effectively describes this person. treats you like you're trash and like it's a problem she has to do her job. trying to get an appt is also impossible bc the front desk either doesnt answer or picks up and hangs up immediately because it's a lot to ask them to do their job too apparently. Dr. Peric is a 5 but his staff is bad enough to drag them down to a 2. Doctor, if you read this get rid of these people read more

Dr. Peric is an amazing doctor. He's kind, empathetic, and has a healing sense of humor. Unfortunately, dealing with his staff is like dealing with hostile creatures at the zoo. They are rude, and disrespectful and make you feel as if they are doing you a favor. No one should walk into a doctor's office and feel like they are walking on eggshells or a minefield. I will be finding another doctor for my wife. read more

Dr John Peric was my dads Dr for years. My dad had to ask him for tests. After complaining for months of pain. Other docters after were surprized. My dad would have had longer to live. Would have suffered less. BEWARE!! Heartbroken! He said Drs dont give flu shots anymore? He just wanted to talk about books. Didnt care about my dads health!! read more

Since I moved to Burbank Dr. John Peric has been my doctor. He always take a good care of me. He always listen to what I have to say. I like him mostly because of his schedule. I call his office and they are always happy to help me. I would highly recommend doctor John Peric. read more

Dr Peric is a new doctor for me. I met him last year as I transitioned to him in order to have a doctor who is closer to my home. I am happy that he is not only closer, but more knowledgeable and sensitive than aa previous doctor. Dr Peric is very personable and very detailed in his multi-modal assessment of patients. He is also clear in giving rationales for why he does things. He explains simply and clearly. With items that I need specific assistance, he goes the extra mile to make personal phone calls to other agencies and to confirm by calling me afterwards. His office is modern, too, in that I can send and receive texts to his office workers. I have been quite satisfied so far and highly recommend Dr Peric. read more

I have been going to Dr Peric for annual check ups for several years. For some reason, their office staff is no longer answering their telephone during work hours or listening and returning their messages that are left. I have been trying to get my CVS pharmacy prescription filled and need Dr Peric's approval before they can fill it. I have called 5-6 times over the last 2 1/2 weeks to no avail. Nobody answers the phone and nobody returns messages either. I'm not sure how any patients schedule their appointments unless their staff calls patients to make the appointments. I will be looking for a new primary care physician! Very disappointing how this office is run. read more

I have referred Dr. Peric to coworkers because he is efficient, available, and effective at addressing annual physicals as well as treatment and recommendations for unplanned medical needs. read more

No slack is going to be cut today. I have never met John Peric and I'm sure he's a good physician, but unfortunately it was made extremely difficult to become a patient here. Simply put no one answers the phone. They don't care about new patients. Avoid. read more

Dr. Peric and his staff are amazing at what they do. Whether I have an appointment or not, they always make the time to take me in. They are extremely friendly. Dr. Peric is hands down the most caring and helpful PCP I have had to date. Knowledgeable in his field and truly takes the time to listen and help you out. Something not seen too often in the medical field unfortunately; at least in my experience. I will certainly be and continuing referring Dr. Peric to my friends and relatives. read more

Some time ago, my physician was Dr. Lee Kagan. Dr. Kagan was the personal physician to comedian Bob Hope during the last part of his more than 100 year lifetime. About a year after I became his patient, Dr. Kagan converted to a concierge plan in which patients pay a large annual fee in exchange for Dr. Kagan's unlimited attention to their health throughout the year. Since I'm very healthy, that was uneconomical for me. Upon receiving news of this change, I asked Dr. Kagan's office for a referral to a physician who was still on my insurance plan, and that is how I became the patient of Dr. John Peric. Dr. Peric is perhaps the best physician I have ever had. He listens intently to my accounting of symptoms and treatments, and communicates readily and effectively his insights into my condition. He is extremely thorough, and my visits with him have never seemed rushed. His advice and treatments, in the few instances that I have needed them, have been effective. He's also extremely personable, and seems genuinely aware that there is a person in front of him, not just some thing to be manipulated; not all doctors realize the difference. My most recent appointment this week was made through Jose, who I believe is new since my last visit. I had only a ten minute wait, which was just enough time to handle insurance and other details. The office itself is modest, functional and unassuming. read more

To start, Dr. Peric and his staff were so kind! As a new patient I was nervous about visiting a new office, but I felt very welcomed and listened to. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected, but I understand that there is a lot of paperwork that comes with being a new patient. If you need a new primary care physician, go with Dr. Peric! read more

Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Peric is great and provided a mix of traditional western medicine and traditional remedies (acupuncture) which let me chose which route I wanted to take. Wait time was short; visit was direct and to the point... Dr. Peric himself was very caring, attentive, and informative. Were he in another office, I would not hesitate to return or recommend him. His current office, however, is not just run down and sad, but also well below any other office's level of cleanliness. I was shocked at the disgusting bathroom. The toilet seat was up, the rim was covered with urine and hairs. There was a creepy toilet brush lying by the toilet on the floor with no covering or anything. There were no less than 8 specimen cups just hanging out above the toilet - obviously no one collects them very often. The whole office just made me very uneasy. The swab and cotton ball jars were open and uncovered in the exam room, and there was used looking medical tape just hanging out on the shelf. I wouldn't want so much as a tongue depressed to touch me in that office as it was so unsterile. Very sad, as Dr. Peric was just as nice and as knowledgeable as can be, read more

I have to agree with the other reviews below...Dr. Peric gets 5 stars, his staff and building get zero...kind of a shame...

::The Comi-Tragedy of Western Medicine:: I an in Urgent Care to receive a follow-up x-ray for an injury I sustained a month-and-a-half ago. The x-ray reveals that my cracked tailbone is no longer broken (woohoo!), yet due to the trauma of the fall that cracked the bone in the first place, my coccyx has been displaced (waa waaa). I am still experiencing pain when I rotate my pelvis, walk too forcefully, sit too long... I imagine this is typical of a traumatic fall. I imagine Yoga and Osteopathic work, alternative methods of strengthening, healing, and realigning my body. The Doctor at Urgent Care, however? Talking a mile-a-minute, he scribbles out prescriptions for antiinflammatories and pain killers, offers that if I have children it will likely 'hurt like hell', and if the pain is too unbearable, I can always have my coccyx surgically removed. Oh, and no Capoeira training if it involves horseback riding. With a nod of his head and a slick point of his finger, he closes the door and says, Remember, your health is your wealth.' This Doctor is Dr. John Peric. A kind enough fellow. Though, in my experience, he was impatient, not at all helpful, and a complete sheep to the typical allopathic model of medicine. With osteopathic adjustment, massage, and Yoga, I can say that the pain he recommended surgery for has diminished and is barely a blip on my screen now. read more

I adore Dr Peric. I found him through urgent care, where he works Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's hard to find a good family dr out of the blue (I didn't grow up in Burbank), and I'm so thankful I found Dr Peric. He's trustworthy, funny, kind, honest, and always makes me feel comfortable. read more
