It is very clear that David truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. My orientation experience made me even more excited to begin. Meeting staff members from different departments gave me such a positive feeling because I could see that there is an entire team ready to support, guide, and encourage students throughout their journey. I left orientation feeling like I would not be going through nursing school alone, but instead would have a strong support system behind me. Life got in the way a couple of times during this portion of the class and I was able to talk to Mika and figure out a plan so that I wouldn't have to miss class. I also loved listening to her real life stories of working in nursing. The course I took was 5 weeks, 8 hours a day. The first two weeks were online. There is a lot of reading, a lot of quizzes, and several tests, but you get the hang of it quickly. The second week was practical where you learned the skills. I got pretty frustrated when I didn't get the skill right the first time, but the fact is that there are a lot of steps to the skills and these are brand new things that I'm learning. It all falls into place when you go into the clinical. You get to apply what you learned in class and in your practical learning. I especially loved my clinical rotations at the hospital. It gave me such a bigger perspective on the healthcare industry and patient care. I learned so much and discovered that I really liked working in ER. I look forward to applying everything I learned in my future career.

She also works full time in order to pay for school and the director and student services are not willing to work with you but they are very quick to take your money. As much as they charge for schooling they can't even provide a copy of the students transcript without charging you. This school is money hungry and they do not care about their students.
