Corresponded with me through texts including giving me a quote for the job which I found to be a great value. He arrived on time and safely cut down and removed a 30-foot-tall tree in the front yard and he and his son cleaned up the lawn, sidewalk, and street. No mess at all left behind. On the second job two weeks later, he came alone, followed my request to trim off the lower branches of four large trees in the back yard. There were a LOT of branches! These would surely be on the lawn in the next ice storm! And just like last time, these branches don't rebound. This was disaster prevention. He hauled away all the branches off the lawn, then raked the entire length of the 63 feet long by 8 feet deep bed underneath the trees! I did NOT expect that kind of cleanup! I haven't seen that bed so clean in years! He used a blower and cleared the driveway, sidewalk and street of anything that fell during the removal. Again, I was left with no clean up task after he left. Seriously folks, if you need this type of work done by a professional, look no further than The Woodcracker. Highest recommendations!

He was great at talking/walking through what I needed done as well as offering suggestions. We decided to have a lot more removed and the price was great for everything being done. Avel, Roman, and the rest of the crew came out the next day and got right to work. Their communication was great, they made sure we were all on the same page, and answered all of my questions. There were 4 people working and they got every single thing done within about 6 hours (wow!). They were careful with my yard and left the place looking a lot better than when they came. The price was very good, the communication was great, and I was very comfortable with all of them. Overall, this was an awesome project with them and I'm so glad they did the job. Original review: Pacific Tree was quick to respond to my request. A team of three came out to my home to quote the job. Their price was reasonable for the work they suggested. Roger is very enthusiastic about trees and seems like he loves what he does. Avel and the other business partner who was out seemed sometimes at odds with Roger's suggestions. The dynamic was a bit weird. It was a little unclear whether the quote would come from Roger or Pacific Tree. It came from Roger's inbox. If I was hiring just Roger alone, or if the approach was a little more cohesive/collaborative among the folks who came out, I'd have hired this company.

Quality Performance was used to trim a laurel hedge and remove a tree on the property line with my…read moreneighbors. The trimming and tree removal went fine, but they neglected to trim about 6 ft of the laurel hedge. In the written estimate that all parties agreed to it stated "reduce laurel to 10ft." When I called Quality Performance to discuss finishing the laurel job they explained that the whole hedge was not part of the estimate. I explained that nowhere in the estimate did it say they would not trim back the entire hedge. They began blaming my neighbor for the miscommunication when it is Quality Performance's responsibility to clearly indicate what is to be completed in the estimate. When I read "reduce laurel to 10ft" I assumed that meant the entire hedge and not a partial job. The worst part of working with this company was their customer service. What is clearly their responsibility they turned back around on me and my neighbors and were not open to listening or making the situation right. I will not work with this company again and I recommend anyone deciding to use them to be extremely clear in their written communication about what is to be completed in the job.
