Dog on the Job LLC took a look at the front and back yards, gave me a quote, and when they did the work, they did an AMAZING job. My property looked GREAT. They really came through for me. Their yard work entailed digging up 3 trees, trimming the bushes, removing blackberry from my vines, cleaning up the walkway, cleaning up the small water feature, cleaning up the flower bed from all the weeks/grass, cleaning up another larger garden bed from all the tall plants and weeds, and pressure washing the back patio. The quality of the service I got was definitely worth what I paid for the work. I will definitely be using them on future yard jobs and I highly recommend them for any yard work anyone has!

We have felt so fortunate to have worked with Brittany from Juniper Rose Landscaping for the past…read morethree years. She was recommended by a friend who had also contracted her do landscaping projects. Brittany's business was completely generated by word-of-mouth. Now that she has located to Salem, we are in dire straits trying to find someone as competent and experienced. There are four community flower beds that our foundation maintains in Portland. Two are small, with the other two beds being 80 feet long. Brittany has monthly pruned, removed, and replaced shrubs, perennials, and planted spring bulbs. Fall clean-up was seamless because of her willingness to extend her hours to complete the amount of pruning, leaf gathering and hauling of debris that was needed. Her knowledge, and professionalism has made our foundation's project successful.

Complete mess - avoid this company at all costs" We hired…read moreVargas landscaping (or whatever their name was) in early March to do spring cleanup, mulch the beds, trim the shrubs, and edge the lawn at our house off Highway 99W in Sherwood. They quoted us $1,850 and promised it would look "professional and clean" within two days. What a joke. They showed up late both days, left huge piles of old leaves and branches scattered across the yard for us to deal with, and barely touched half the shrubs. The mulch they dumped is uneven, full of sticks and weeds, and they spread it way too thin in some spots and piled it up against the house in others--like they were trying to hide the fact they didn't weed first. Now my foundation is probably going to rot. The lawn edging looks like it was done with a drunk weed eater. Crooked lines everywhere, and they scalped the grass in several patches so bad it's brown already. One of my rhododendrons got completely hacked up--branches just snapped off and left lying there. When I called to complain, the owner got defensive and basically said "that's how it's supposed to look" and "you should have been more specific." We paid half upfront like they asked, and now they're dragging their feet on coming back to fix anything. I had to spend another $300 just to have a different crew come clean up their mess so our yard doesn't look abandoned. Save yourself the headache and money. There are plenty of honest landscapers in Sherwood and Tigard who actually know what they're doing. This company ruined our spring curb appeal and wasted two weekends of my time. Never again.
