A couple of weeks ago, I called Don Nichols Plumbing in a panic when my tankless water heater…read moresuddenly stopped producing hot water. Even though his schedule was already full that day, Don made the time to come out between appointments and quickly fixed the issue. When I asked what the emergency visit would cost, he simply said, "Don't worry about it--just call us to schedule your water heater service." Since my system was due for service, I went ahead and scheduled it. They did a fantastic job, taking the time to fully flush and descale the unit and remove mineral buildup. Everyone I interacted with--from start to finish--was incredibly nice, down-to-earth, and genuinely pleasant to work with. I won't hesitate to use Don Nichols Plumbing again and highly recommend them.

I had Copperfield Plumbing out to fix a copper water pipe that was leaking (March 2026). I never…read moretalked prices with them. I was quoted $380 by the repairman after he looked at the problem. It took him about 20-25'. The technician was skilled, polite and efficient. I wrote them a check, but I was not given a written estimate, nor was I given a receipt. NO itemized information on the charges at all. It seemed like a lot of money!!! I called the secretary later that afternoon and she had the owner call me back. He listened to my concerns and we arrived at a compromise. So, just be informed of the charges beforehand and get multiple estimates if you can. Copperfield Plumbing is a reputable and flexible business and a good choice if your due diligence is complete.

Our family has worked with Steve Silva Plumbing for decades, and they are truly one of those rare…read morecompanies you feel incredibly fortunate to have in your corner. They are honest, reliable, responsive, fairly priced, and consistently go above and beyond. Steve himself still comes out to bid jobs and troubleshoot projects, and his entire team reflects the same level of professionalism and integrity. Over the years, they have handled countless installations, repairs, and projects for us - large and small - and they consistently exceed our expectations. They communicate well, show up when they say they will, work efficiently, and genuinely care about doing things right. Their plumbers are fantastic, and I trust them completely in our home. But I have to give a special shout-out to Zac for something that had absolutely nothing to do with plumbing. Zac was recently working at our house when our cat - through absolutely no fault of Zac's - got outside and disappeared. He saw me searching the yard and, completely on his own, took his personal time to help me look for him throughout the neighborhood. Then, at one point, a fox came running through our yard. Zac came flying out of the house, yelling and chasing the fox away because he was worried it might find our missing cat. It was simultaneously hilarious and incredibly thoughtful - and such a perfect example of the kind of people Steve has on his team. There are very few contractors or vendors I would rather have working at our home. After decades of experience with Steve Silva Plumbing, I can say without hesitation that they are talented, trustworthy, hardworking, and genuinely good people. They have earned our family's trust many times over, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Five very well-deserved stars.

Silva Plumbing installed a new water heater for more than $20,000 in 2022. Last month it failed and…read moreI had to pay $885 to replace the ignition piece, which was under warranty. I was told that this was common with this brand and they had many issues with this manufacturer. So you might wonder why they still install them! Before that, they botched the coupling of the water softener to the water heater: I saw a succession of Silva plumbers, more incompetent that the other and ended up paying a bill of more than $2000. The last time they came they left the water heater bracing not properly secured and the expansion tank filled with water (ie. inoperative). I finally called another plumber to fix it. When I dared complain about it: Steve Silva, himself, said and I quote: "Pay your bill and take your business elsewhere" Well this is what I will advise you to do!!
