After years of our guesthouse HVAC system operating somewhere between "mildly haunted" and…read more"emotionally unstable," Adam Eck HVAC finally solved the mystery. For literally a couple years, our previous HVAC company serviced the unit twice a year, came out for additional service calls, nodded thoughtfully at the equipment... and somehow never fixed the actual problem. We eventually accepted our fate and furnished the guesthouse with a space heater, a fan, and what can only be described as climate-related trust issues. Then came Adam Eck HVAC. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time (already a miracle these days), communicated clearly, and actually diagnosed and fixed the issue. Apparently the system was capable of heating and cooling all along. Who knew. They've now taken over our biannual HVAC maintenance for the entire property and did a fantastic job with that as well - thorough, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Now the guesthouse works consistently, our guests no longer need to dress in layers "just in case," and the portable heater has retired. Professional, responsive, honest, and - most importantly - effective. Highly recommend.

After 25 years, my Concord home needed a full HVAC replacement. I did my homework -- four quotes,…read moreverified equipment certifications, asked hard questions about duct sealing, zoning, and equipment sizing before deciding. A-1 answered every question confidently, corrected a spec error in their own quote when I caught it, and put everything in writing before I signed. Install day: Austin, Joey, and Edgar showed up on time. Floors covered, shoes covered, house treated well. Two days -- day one removal and new equipment, day two ductwork and zoning. Heating and cooling tested before they left. Full documentation handed over on the spot. No hidden charges, no surprises, no change orders. Price was mid-range among four quotes, but the warranty structure -- lifetime workmanship, no-lemon guarantee, payment at completion -- made it the best overall package. Still have HERS test-out and city inspection scheduled, but based on every step of this process I'd recommend A-1 without hesitation. Austin, Joey, and Edgar did a great job.

I reached out to A1 because I am a repeat client who previously arranged installation of a heat pump water heater and a heat pump HVAC system in my home. This visit involved checking a UV lamp that my Ecobee app indicated was overdue for replacement. I discovered, however, that my system lacked a UV lamp. Even so, Jonathan shared more details about my setup and showed no annoyance over a call that differed from the initial report. He described the UV lamp options available for my unit and noted that he would gladly return to install one if I chose to add it to my heat pump system. For all your heat pump system needs, I strongly recommend the team at A1 Guaranteed Heating & Air.

Derek…read morecame out to my house on one of the hottest days of the summer after I called that morning, and he arrived the very same day. After evaluating the situation, he determined that the issue was a damaged power line that needed to be rewired, which was outside the scope of an HVAC repair. Instead of simply leaving, Derek took the time to explain the problem and gave me the knowledge I needed to make the repair myself. It's rare to find a company that is this responsive, honest, and helpful. Having an air conditioning technician show up the same day during a heat wave is impressive, and the customer service was exceptional. I texted Fred yesterday, on a Saturday, because our unit in our new house (Not the one he installed) was having some issues. He came out on a Sunday and fixed it in 30 minutes, and DIDN"T charge us. I contacted Bell Products to repair my air conditioning unit. They sent a technician who charged me…read more$902 and misdiagnosed the problem. The system was still not working after his visit. When I contacted them again, they sent a second technician who told me I needed to replace the entire system for $10,000. I then contacted another HVAC company for a second opinion. They confirmed there was nothing wrong with the system. The problem was a small pump, which I replaced, and the AC now works perfectly. Bell Products took $902, fixed nothing, and then tried to sell me a completely unnecessary $10,000 replacement. In my opinion, this is dishonest and unethical. This company appears far more interested in selling expensive new systems than repairing what can easily be fixed for a fraction of the cost. This experience caused me significant anxiety, and I would not recommend Bell Products to anyone. I am requesting a full refund of the $902 I was charged for a misdiagnosis and no repair. Charging for work that did not fix the problem and then pushing an unnecessary replacement raises serious concerns under consumer protection laws. I expect Bell Products to address this promptly and refund the charge.
