He said, yeah just do that. So I ultimately paid 1600 dollars for a sump pump replacement that took 2 hours that I have to go and poke with a stick on occasion. How do I feel about this..? Not good, to be honest. The company had no problem promptly charging for the service, but when I called to report a serious safety issue they had created, I was told no one was available and that it would have to wait until the following morning. I found that response disappointing, especially considering the potential risk. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I have a harder time accepting is the lack of urgency when a customer reports a potentially dangerous situation.
