I called Super Sewer Man today because of all the great Yelp reviews. The bathroom to my apartment has had an intermittent awful smell since I moved in (almost two years ago!). When I first complained to my building management company, they thought it needed to be renovated, so they tore down the entire bathroom earlier this year and rebuilt it over the course of almost a month. The construction people left a wobbly toilet and it took my super a month to get someone to come take a look, at which time they fixed the wobbliness, but the next day a brown ring formed around the base of my toilet bowl. The noxious fumes continued to permeate through my apartment every once in a while, and I would always feels so sick whenever I got a whiff of it. This morning I came home to the awful smell again, and I was already not feeling well. I was super nauseous and thought that I might just have to move out of my apartment I love so much because it truly was making me sick!! I called Dave and he explained to me why this happens and how unhealthy it is to be inhaling MOLDY fumes, and had Nico come within a few hours to fix it. This is a delayed review! But none the less, I had called Dave up a while ago with a plumbing emergency (my shower started backing up). That night Dave and his crew were already booked up for the entire night and so couldnt send someone till the next morning but I had overnight weekend guests coming over that same night and needed someone asap! Dave couldnt have been more courteous, apologetic, and genuinely helpful about it. He told me he "didnt want to leave me hanging" and did everything in his power to try and make it happen. When it was confirmed we couldnt get someone over as soon as I needed, I told him honestly that I couldnt wait for tomorrow morning and would probably have to try calling up a different plumber.
