Dave was awesome! On the phone he gave me all the info and possible scenarios when cleaning out an old house's (1907) sewer line. When I asked about setting up an appointment he said he could be there the next day and then was able to come in the evening when I'd be home from work. On arrival he went on a mission to understand the plumbing in my and my neighbors (we share a duplex) house by checking the pipes in the basement, just to make sure before he got to work. Very thorough! He cleaned the sewer easily and even helped get a stripped pipe cap off that the house inspector couldn't. He explained the part I needed and told me it'd be easier if I got it from home depot and screwed on myself rather than paying him for all that time (although he said he would be happy to do it). That ended up working perfectly. Throughout the hour and half he was over, he kept saying "the good news is..." and I was just waiting for the classic move for a tech to drop the bad news bomb and double his quote...but this never happened. Everything went smooth. If I wasn't already convinced Dave was a super honest guy by then, he tells me "dont call me to come back every year or two like your inspector suggested, this is a clean, problem free sewer line, just call me when you notice an issue". I was impressed! read more

My sink has a clog that is causing the water to come out of my dishwasher. My super tried to snake and clear the clog but the problem came back. I read all the wonderful yelp reviews that SSM gets and decided to give him a call. I was anxious as I find that most repairmen and brusque and impatient with women customers. But as described by other the yelp reviewers, Dave has great bedside manners. He patiently explained to me what could be wrong, looked at the pictures of the pipes that I sent, gave me the pricing and sent Eddie the man to fix my sink on the same day. Eddie was great! It took him less than 10 minutes to unclog the sink and he cleaned up too. Dave gave me a follow up call while Eddie is still in the apt and reassured me that they had gotten to the bottom of the problem. He also told me that his work comes with a 30 days guarantee which I really appreciate. I am running my dishwasher now and so far so good. If their work holds up, SSM has a loyal customer in me! God knows I clogged up my shower all the time with my hair! read more

This is the best plumber around, period! Dave is the rare honest guy to work with. I needed a new sump pump setup, I wanted redundant battery backup setup, I wanted something very over the top and Dave basically talked me off the ledge, educated me on why my thinking wasn't the best and in turn Dave actually saved me over a $1000 doing it his way and not my way (which wasn't the best way). Dave actually fought me to not spend money that wasn't needed. Its pretty rare the guy working on your home tries to save you money. Dave spent two days at my house, he returned all the equipment I originally asked for, replaced with the proper equipment and after all that, something that was never part of the discussion, Dave completely redid the exiting of the sump, re-piped over 30 feet and left me with the perfect setup, this was done by Dave without charging me since he knew it needed to be done. I would highly recommend Dave and his company to my own family without hesitation! read more

My older friend in his 70s has a walk-in bathtub that was leaking from the connection. He had a plumber come in to take a look to find the problem. The guy came in and ripped the connection from the drain and told him that the tub was shot he had to buy a whole new one. I found Dave online and gave him a call explained what was told to us, sent him pictures and he called back explained everything perfectly clear. He came out the next morning, it wasn't an easy fix since he had a small area to work in which limited how much he could move. he had to try 3 different ways to get it done without having to rip open the ceiling and do it from below (which would have cost more but probably would have been faster for him) he didn't give up and got it done! The whole time he took pictures and explained to my older friend exactly what the problem was and what he was doing to fix it. We will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber!! He was fantastic, thanks Dave!! read more

Dave just turned our day around. After a morning shower we found our basement to be flooding. I contacted Dave as a first time customer, and he treated me like family. He made it to us in under 45 minutes, and also walked me through some things on the phone while he was on his way over. Not only did he take care of the problem, he also taught me a ton in order to understand the problem and prevent it in the future. If you call Dave and get anything but 5 star service, you called the wrong Dave. This guy really did save the day for a couple of people who know nothing about plumbing. Due to the quality of the experience, I don't expect to have any issues for a long time...but if I do, I know who to call. I saved him to my contacts before he even wrote the bill. I'll be looking forward to recommend Dave to friends in the future as I know they will be happy with the quality of his work. read more

Unfortunately i had a horrible sewer problem in my restaurant and i searched Yelp for someone to use. I came across Super Sewer Man and went on their website. The site was straight forward and easy to use in a time of an emergency, very convenient! What also stood out was the name of the company, I love the concept. After i called they showed up a few minutes ahead of time and walked me through the process and what was going to happen next. The problem was fixed easily in a timely manner and relieved me of my headache. I was such good service i'm actually taking the time out to write a review. I must say they are professional and knew exactly what the problem was, the did a phenomenal job. I'd suggest them to anyone on here because they are who you want on your side. Wow!!!! It was early morning on saturday and I Needed an emergency main line cleaned out at my house. I called over 50 24/7 plumbers and rooter service companies through out the night and Super Man Dave was "THE ONLY" one to call me back and cone to my house within 45 minutes. Together we made a tough job seem pretty easy. Dave was prompt, timely, well knowledgable and happy to teach me what had happened how to avoid it again. The process was quick and easy! He will be the only rooter sewer man i will ever call or refer to others. Thanks for the quick turn around time and for treating my house and family as if it were your own. 5 STAR rating is definitely deserved to this company because the service, contact updates, and hard work I received made our rough night much easier and everything works perfect now. Thanks Dave Best of luck Dave read more

I had an issue with a clog in my apartment toilet and when I called at 7am on a Monday morning I was lucky to have Dave help me immediately He was very up front and honest about his opinion on what I was dealing with after just a few words and told me his prices but instead of just trying to make the sale he asked me to try something myself first to save me some $$ and a trip out from his crew I was amazed at how well his at home suggestion worked and how quickly, I ended up not needing his team to come out but was very appreciative of his honest approach to help someone out even at the cost of "making the sale" We need more businesses like this especially in a city where everyone is looking to make a quick buck, thanks a lot Dave ! read more

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dave and the work he does. The first time he came to my house this week, he cleaned out a bathroom sink drain and ended up replacing some of the pipes. He was very clear in explaining what he needed to do and helping me understand. The next day the spigot for my outside hose came apart and he came over from the job he was already at to help me get it stopped up for the night. He came back the next morning and spent the day fixing the problem. He explained every part of the process and what he needed to do before he did it. Dave is extremely considerate, kind, hard-working, and patient with my crazy 1950's plumbing. read more

I had a leak that was an emergency fix, a leak in my main water line. Dave took care of me with first being able to figure out where the leak was and then to locate a contact of his that was available since all of his guys where unavailable. I found Dave to be responsible and a conscientious person. Initially when he first told me that he didn't have an available person to come but he would call around for me and told me he would call me back in 5 minutes, he followed through and found me someone to fix my problem with professionalism and a highly qualified workmanship. I would highly recommend Dave. read more

I have hired Dave for a handful of different jobs around the apartment. Each time I am more impressed with his level of professionalism. Not only is his pricing extremely transparent and upfront, but also he takes the time and care to walk customers through their options in order to find a solution that best meets their needs. He has even willingly turned down business he otherwise could have performed when the risk of bad outcomes was high and provided a second opinion over the phone for complicated issues. Dave is definitely the first call I'll make. I can't recommend him enough. read more

I manage a small building in the Village and a tenant's apt completely flooded. Had a vague idea of the problem, had a handyman give it a valiant effort, but it became apparent we needed to call in the big guns. OK, Just TRY to find a plumber @ 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon in NYC. Well, I found him. Super Sewer Man Dave to the rescue!! He fought tunnel traffic, arrived just about when promised, and after asking a few questions, knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it in much less time than I anticipated. Friendly, funny and efficient, he saved the day...like all SuperHeros do.. read more

Dave is the consummate professional! I have over thirty years in the construction business. Plumbing is not my forte , but it's easy to see that it is Dave's. He did exactly what he said he would. He was on time, his explanation of the process was thorough, he was clean, his work impeccable and he delivered much more than I expected. Our family will use buckets in the back yard before I let another plumber into the house. This was a great experience from beginning to end. I'm convinced there isn't a situation too large or small for this man to handle. read more

We had a sewer back up and called a few "recommendations" which weren't very good. I saw all the 5 stars for Dave and gave it a shot. I am so glad I did. We spoke on the phone for a bit and he knew exactly what was going on. Showed up on time and had our problem fixed in no time at all. He was very professional and respectful of my home and time. We have a home warranty and he spent 5 minutes on the phone answering their questions too. Full service for sure. I'd recommend him to my mother! Couldn't be happier. Thanks Dave! read more

Dave is amazing! He is very professional and knowledgeable and truly a good and kind person. He was able to fit the job into his schedule and he texted me when he would arrive which was really helpful. He gave a very fair price and completed the job in a timely manner as well. He was able to work around some wiring difficulties and get the job done well. It was a pleasure to speak with Dave and to hear more about his business and experiences. I would highly recommend him. Thank you so much Dave! You really are super! read more

I had a clog that was causing my wash basin to back up. I knew what the problem was but my snake couldn't handle the clog. When I called Dave he asked questions about the situation and he adjusted his schedule to accommodate me on a day I was working from home. He cleared the clog quickly and even adjusted the P trap which wasn't installed properly so it was sitting crooked. I told Dave the reason he got the job was because of the 100% 5 star reviews. And he totally deserves his accolades. I have a plumber now! read more

Our sewage line backed up and created a huge mess in our downstairs basement bathroom. I called Dave and he immediately asked me a lot of questions and then told me he would be out within two hours. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and friendly. He told me up front what the charge would be so there were no surprises. Not only did he fix the problem quickly he also cleaned up the sewage mess with bleach so I didn't have to touch anything. I would 100% call him again. Hopefully I won't have to. read more

All i needed was a reliable plumber to answer the phone & show up on time, Super Sewer Man did that & much more. The owner of the company Dave was very honest & up front on pricing, informative & helpful from the moment I called. He sent out his best plumber who fixed my toilet bowl, shower drain & sink drain all in one day. I was also charged less than Roto Rooter first quoted me. Don't ever call Roto. Best plumber in Boulder CO. Highly recommended 5 stars all the way, thanks again Super. read more

I have to agree with everyone here. Dave is a rare and extraordinary person. He wasn't even in town but he took the time to talk me through my problem on the phone and also by texting me photos and instructions of what to do and where to go to get a good price on what I needed. The best part may have been that he was extremely friendly and didn't condescend to me at all (when it comes to plumbing I'm a couple notches below novice). God bless you, Dave, and thanks. read more
