John Lewis in London St Pancras International is fairly bizarre for a number of reasons. John Lewis is one of those big, famous department store brands with huge impressive stores which anchor shopping malls like at both Westfields in London, or just look great like locations in Birmingham and London Oxford Street, this store is tiny compared to those.
The store is small offers a limited selection of high-end British gifts.
The store felt typical of other stores in the station, it was nice enough with a clock and train times on display on a screen in-store.
No travel accessories, food and drink etc like many places nearby. Surely as they own supermarket chain Waitrose having a small fridge would be useful and very easy to do?
A nice brand in the station but it's a strange branch by John Lewis standards, with a few missed opportunities.
