You should be able to do more for the pain. That's what pain killers are for. I should not have to go through all this just to get a little bit of comfort. I don't know what's going on but pain killers are for people that are in pain. That's why they are made. Just because some people decide to kill themselves by being stupid with drugs that they aren't supposed to take doesn't mean I should being going through all this. Let the people that need what they need get what they need. I don't get to just rest at home for days after an extraction I have a job to do I can't just take off, so going through a job all day long in extreme amount of discomfort and pain is completely unnecessary!!( UPDATE 6:30am) at the hospital doctor comes in. I tell him my dentist won't write me another prescription because it's illegal to write me another one. I scheduled this appointment two months ago for my daughter, who has been experiencing mouth pain from cavities. This was the soonest available slot for a new patient under my insurance. To make this appointment, I pulled my daughter out of school early and traveled with my three infants (six-week-old twins and a 15-month-old). Due to light traffic on San Jose Blvd, I arrived nine minutes late. Despite the waiting room being completely empty, I was refused service, with the staff citing that the office was "short-staffed." The most distressing part of this experience was the unprofessional conduct of the receptionist, Lyric. Not only was she unwilling to help me reschedule, but she was also incredibly disrespectful. Furthermore, after we left, I realized my daughter had lost a shoe in the lobby. When I returned minutes later to retrieve it, I found that Lyric had already thrown the shoe into the trash. As a mother who waited months for this care and managed the logistics of bringing four young children to the office, I find this level of customer service unacceptable. If this office cannot accommodate a patient who is less than ten minutes late--especially one in pain--then they were never prepared to honor this appointment. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect at a place of business.
