Both the dentist and the dental assistant were communicative throughout the procedures, which alleviated my anxiety. They were efficient and thorough as well. I was blown away by their use of camera technology that resulted in a brand new crown before I left the office! I also received a post-procedure photo explanation of the work that was completed, and I received info about what to expect over the next few days as well as possible future care requirements. During COVID, they seem be doing a great job with safety. Gentle, patient, and somehow able to carry on a conversation while I'm answering in caveman grunts with tools in my mouth. I went in expecting the usual "just survive this" experience... and left thinking, "Wait... do I like going to the dentist now?" That's suspicious. I needed to cancel my original appt for my annual cleaning and rescheduled for a more convenient day and Meghan is the hygienist that took care of me, she is very thorough and professional. What's nice is knowing too great hygienist maybe it would open more appt available times. Dr. Perrin knows his stuff and what I like is I do not feel I am being upsold any unnecessary treatments. I scheduled this appointment two months ago for my daughter, who has been experiencing mouth pain from cavities. This was the soonest available slot for a new patient under my insurance. To make this appointment, I pulled my daughter out of school early and traveled with my three infants (six-week-old twins and a 15-month-old). Due to light traffic on San Jose Blvd, I arrived nine minutes late. Despite the waiting room being completely empty, I was refused service, with the staff citing that the office was "short-staffed." The most distressing part of this experience was the unprofessional conduct of the receptionist, Lyric. Not only was she unwilling to help me reschedule, but she was also incredibly disrespectful. Furthermore, after we left, I realized my daughter had lost a shoe in the lobby. When I returned minutes later to retrieve it, I found that Lyric had already thrown the shoe into the trash. As a mother who waited months for this care and managed the logistics of bringing four young children to the office, I find this level of customer service unacceptable. If this office cannot accommodate a patient who is less than ten minutes late--especially one in pain--then they were never prepared to honor this appointment. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect at a place of business.
