You should be able to do more for the pain. That's what pain killers are for. I should not have to go through all this just to get a little bit of comfort. I don't know what's going on but pain killers are for people that are in pain. That's why they are made. Just because some people decide to kill themselves by being stupid with drugs that they aren't supposed to take doesn't mean I should being going through all this. Let the people that need what they need get what they need. I don't get to just rest at home for days after an extraction I have a job to do I can't just take off, so going through a job all day long in extreme amount of discomfort and pain is completely unnecessary!!( UPDATE 6:30am) at the hospital doctor comes in. I tell him my dentist won't write me another prescription because it's illegal to write me another one. He looks at me with the most confused look and said that's absolutely false they definitely can write you a prescription... so who the hell am I actually supposed to believe. This is crazy

He wanted me to see an oral surgeon and I thought I would try Jax Emergency after my husband recommended them to me. Dr. Arrow was patient, took his time and rocked that tooth out in it's entirely with no breaks. Took his time and used rocking persistence- something most dentists do not posses anymore with the rush to high priced cosmetic dentistry procedures. I worked for years chair-side in dental offices in my younger years I can really appreciate application of great basic practices as well as talking a patient through the procedure calmly. I also appreciate in this day and age of greed in the medical industry to not have the price be the motivator to the doctor and practice. I like that the actions were whatever was best for me and my situation. I only wish they did root canals on molars so I wouldn't have to go on a search, but I've been referred to 3 endodontists for consideration for the next procedure. Front desk was very helpful and I was seated shortly after arrival. The assistant was efficient and friendly, updating x-rays after looking at those previously taken at another office earlier this year. Smart move. You don't want a dentist working off of old x-rays. Not ever! Another note I'll go in bed at names was I recognized her from being here a couple years ago which says a lot about the doctor. Many assistance turn through cause of doctors that are too difficult to stay with. Yes, some dentists can be rude to their assistant too! My disappointment at the cosmetic over health $$$$ direction dental care has taken can be noted! Implants implants implants are not for everyone nor can everyone afford seniors who want to preserve their teeth and have good health rather than focus on only appearance get any cost. So much pressure to spend thousands and thousands of dollars - patients shamed into signing financial agreements unrealistic for many situations. I was so upset over the pressure for the plants. I waited too darn long to get a second opinion. I still need 2 root canals, but I'm glad I came here and talked to Dr. arrow about my options that suited my own needs and budget. I'm so glad I did. Ha!…read more I have been looking for a practice where the doctor puts his patient first and isn't worried about a checklist that needs to be completed before your personal needs are addressed (e.g. compound billing charges) and boy did I find him! Not only is Dr Tapnio all about his patients but he is also very comical, which I really loved. His staff is also top notch, including receptionist and Becky (Dental Hygienist). Becky was full of knowledge and super sweet, I was lucky to have been assigned to her and look forward to seeing her again. I also love how when you walk into the office it has an aromatic smell, which is relaxing, and can be nice especially if you are someone who gets nervous about doctor visits. The smell possibly comes from the extremely healthy living plants along the walls and table stands. I would highly recommend anyone needing a dentist or looking for a dentistry you can trust, PLEASE go by Beacon Dentistry!!
