You should be able to do more for the pain. That's what pain killers are for. I should not have to go through all this just to get a little bit of comfort. Just because some people decide to kill themselves by being stupid with drugs that they aren't supposed to take doesn't mean I should being going through all this. Let the people that need what they need get what they need. As the receptionist reads me the date and time, I enter it into my phone and repeat it back for confirmation. Showed up yesterday to my appointment and they tried to tell me that it was not at the time I had in my phone and when I told them it was the date and time I read back to them 6 months ago, she insinuated I was a liar and said she would never make if for that time because it's 30 minutes before lunch (their cleanings typically only take 30 minutes). Needless to say, they would not take me and expected me to take time off work to drive back out there another day. I asked them to have the doctor call me before the end of the day. He did not. I can only assume my family's money is not needed there so I guess we'll be giving it to another dentist that doesn't call its long-time patients liars.
