So I took my daughter here for a consult. To say they are die hard fans of the invisalign would be…read morean understatement. They only spoke on braces when asked about them and that was bare minimum responses. My daughter is 15. Just turned 15. She does not trust that her treatment will be successfully completed in the appropriate timeframe with invisalign simply because theyre removable. They have to be removed when anything passes your lips other than water. She changed her mind after we left the persuasive environment in the office. She sdaid she felt like they didnt want her to have the braces. This was on a Thursday. I called back to them on the following Monday and told them she wanted to do braces instead. I was told at that time they would like her to TRY the invisalign for 90 days. Then if she still wanted to switch she can. To me, you are not listening. I am the paying patient. This is MY childs choice. I was told they already started making her invisalign in the off site lab. I guess they must work Sat and Sun since it had only been one weekday since we had been there. It frustrated me. I then went to Morgan orthodontics where they are SO chill. Never felt like I didnt have a choice. My daughter absolutely loved them! We got quoted way less money and guess what? Same day braces. She got them on that day. They have great payment plans and are so personable. Skip the consult here at this plastic company and go to Morgan! This place wont even give me back the 200 I put down. Its insane. This was their fault for not listening to me in the 1st place. Period

We came here for an orthodontic consult and, unfortunately, it wasn't a good fit. We allotted one…read morehour for the appointment and spent most of it waiting. We ultimately had to leave before ever meeting the doctor, which made the visit feel incomplete and frustrating. The technician first took a full digital scan/photo of my child's teeth. Immediately afterward, she said, "Now we'll do the X-rays," even though we had not consented to imaging at that stage. I declined, and there was some pushback. She then asked for the name of my regular dentist and phoned them to see if x-rays had been taken that they could use. But, those were considered out of date. A few minutes later, she returned with the digital scan and gave a detailed presentation of what treatment would likely involve, including a before-and-after simulation of my son's smile. All without X-rays. After the visit, I followed up with the office to ask whether they could provide any general treatment guidance or even a range for costs based on the digital scan and other information they had available. Each time, they were firm that no pricing of any kind would be discussed until new Panorex and Ceph films were taken. To be clear, I'm not opposed to X-rays once I have decided to move forward with this orthodontic practice. But pushing imaging before providing preliminary pricing created a high-pressure experience rather than an informative consultation. Upon reflection, I felt like this was being done to "lock us in" to their practice. Other orthodontic practices we've visited were able to discuss likely treatment options and provide a non-binding cost range based on the clinical exam and digital scan alone We are intentionally getting three consults and want to avoid having several sets of radiographs done unnecessarily. I raised this repeatedly. Part of their pushback is that the X-ray is "free," but that is not the point. I am not looking to expose my child to unnecessary radiation, in accordance to widely accepted medical safety guidelines. The office emphasized that they follow ALARA guidelines, but requiring X-rays before offering even basic consult information felt inconsistent with that principle. I also made it clear during our email exchange that I would be leaving a review about this policy, so they were fully aware of my concerns and had many opportunities to provide an estimate of any kind, but they reiterated that no estimate of any type would be provided without imaging. This, in my view, is not a useful consultation and a big misuse of my time. Overall, there are many orthodontic practices to choose from, and I'm very glad we looked at other options. While this office is quick to promote its high ratings, our experience did not reflect what those reviews suggest.

So when I was looking for a dentist in the area I had no clue where to go since I just recently moved to this area. Searched on my dental insurance app and found this place and set everything up online. Skeptical because I'd never been there before and don't know anyone to ask about it. Went to my appointment and really didn't have to wait long at all to be seen which was nice. I liked the technology that they had and how they make sure that they have a record of where you started out at. It was a very comprehensive examination of my teeth and what will be needed to get them back on track after the years of neglect. They really seemed to care and to make sure that I knew everything that was going on. Everything was presented right in front of me on a screen and I could see everything happening. I was seen by 3 different people. The first lady was there the whole time and she took my medical history and all the xrays/pictures that was needed. Then another lady checked my gums to see if there was anything wrong along the gum line. Then finally I met the dentist. She looked at my teeth and noted any trouble spots to the first lady. She told me what was going on in my mouth and what would be needed to repair and clean everything. So for a first dental appointment in over 12 years this wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. There wasn't any actual cleaning of my teeth at this time. It was just a comprehensive check of where my teeth are right now and I've got another appointment set in 2 weeks to get started on my teeth. Long review I know, but wanted to give an overview of my first experience with a very awesome dental office. They also have a comfort dog there if needed!

I posted a review for the practice, but this is for Dr Mitra specifically…read more I learned she was the main brains behind the office and building design, which is such a nice difference from most dental offices. It's beautiful and relaxing. My first appointment was an emergency one. She got me in the next day and fixed the problem during the visit. There was a major delay (lots of emergencies, she was the only one in the office that day) but she and her staff kept me in the loop and explained options - hang tight, come back later, or reschedule - and let me pick. I stayed and they were very professional and friendly and checked in on me to give me regular updates. My second appointment was a check up but I knew I would need work done. I explained that to the front desk and they were able to book back-to-back time slots so I could get my check up and then work done. During the check up and dental work Dr Mitra and her assistant were extra attentive to my over all comfort. Which I think is super important in a dentist. She has state-of-the-art equipment and the exam chairs have gentle massage rollers. There are two TV's in each room - one to watch while you wait and another on the ceiling you can watch during the exam. I Dr Mitra has well trained and polite staff. And during the long treatment I needed I think their thoughtfulness was really highlighted.

I was able to get in for an emergency appointment just after I moved to the area. One of the two dentists was out sick that day as well. So even though there were major delays the assistant and dentist herself both checked in frequently to let me know what the status was. Thankfully I could wait, and I was equally grateful they explained why there was such a wait. For routine check ups they were super good with both me and my daughter. They explained the treatment plan and scheduled me around the constraints I had. I believe there are now three dentists there. Dr Austin Westover and Dr Mitra and Dr Bryant Ash. I've only interacted with Mr. Mitra and thought she had a great bedside presence.

She had let me know that once he is asleep they will do additional x-rays and then bring out the treatment plan... once he was back and put to sleep, the assistant named erin came out and shared with me The treatment plan. The treatment plan had stated that he would have one tooth extraction and crowns put in his mouth. once his procedure was finished the doctor had brought me back into the room and had told me that he had three teeth removed. I was very confused for the simple fact that I DID NOT CONSENT TO AN ADDITION TWO TEETH BEING REMOVED NOR WAS I TOLD THAT INFORMATION IN THE TREATMENT PLAN .... I consented to one tooth extraction, and crowns. I said I knew nothing about the other TWO tooth being pulled NOR WAS THIS TOLD TO ME. She had asked me if the assistant had explained this to me. I stated she did not. She only stated that there was going to be one tooth pulled with the crowns. the doctor had told me that she would go out and speak with the assistant in regards to the situation. The doctor came back and stated that the assistant admitted to not telling me about the addition other teeth extractions and was so sorry that she did not mention to it. Also that she was going to handle the assistant. the doctor apologized and stated she was very sorry for what had happened. She would've never done the procedure if I if she would've known I didn't Consent. I said, this is very disappointing and and left me speechless as to how something like this could've happened to my child. I take him to have one tooth removed with the crowns and they had removed two additional teeth one of his mullers and two bottom front teeth. My child was not cared for in this situation what so ever. instead Of the doctor coming out and relaying to me the procedure plan with full and accurate information. They took it upon there self to act freely and preform two UNAUTHORIZED tooth extraction, without my consent. I got the chance to speak with the owner about it and he said that they do not just pull teeth to pull it and that the bottom teeth that were pulled was going to be very beneficial to my son and myself so that he didn't have to get braces when he got older. I stated this is very unacceptable and not ok. I hope no parent will have to endure something like this my 10 year old son is very hurt and confused as to why they pulled his bottom teeth out.
