This is my 2nd review. 1st was in December 2025. I had my full (lower and upper) dentures made by Aspen a few years ago. The lower cracked on Dec and Aspen reloaded it quickly (within an hour). The lower broke again yesterday and again they repaired it in a hour after evaluation. They also have ordered a spare / replacement be made, no charge. I have not had the negative experience that some have posted but anything is possible. Perhaps personnel changes have made a difference; their facility replaced the former Ruby Tuesday location a few years ago. I found the staff at Aspen personable and responsive, a far cry from other experiences with others in the past (not local to Winchester). I do highly recommend them. read more

I really wanted this to be a positive review, especially because Dr. Gaitan and Fatima were initially great during my first few visits. Unfortunately, my experience has taken a very disappointing turn. I first came in on 5/13 with severe tooth pain. After that visit, I walked away with a $6,000 treatment plan and an appointment scheduled a week out--but no relief. I was told I needed a root canal, two crowns, and a cavity filled. That cavity still isn't filled to this day. When the pain worsened, we reached out for help and heard nothing back. We ended up needing to schedule another appointment just to get something for the pain. Fast forward almost a full month later, and I'm in just as much pain--if not more--than when I first walked through the doors. At this point, I have two temporary crowns--one on each side--and the cavity that should've been addressed immediately has become so painful that even air hitting it is unbearable. Now, the tooth behind the one that had the root canal (but still doesn't have the permanent crown) is throbbing. I understand dental work takes time, but I came here with pain and left with more of it, and with little resolution after weeks of waiting. It's heartbreaking and frustrating to feel like things were not only left incomplete--but possibly made worse. I hope this review prompts a more thorough look at how patients in pain are cared for, because I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. ____________________________________________________________________________________ I recently had my first-ever root canal, and like anyone would be, I was nervous. But Dr. Gaitan and Fatima made all the difference, today. From the very first appointment, Dr. Gaitan has been kind and patient through this process. Each time I've sat in his chair, he's eased my concerns and made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. Over today when I had additional concerns, he sat right through them all with the same kindness. Fatima was a sunny spot in the morning, equally amazing--knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. Today's visit was no exception. They both took the time to go over the procedure as we went through each part of the procedure. The only hiccup I experienced was during a time Dr. Gaitan was on vacation. Unfortunately, dealing with the front desk in his absence was frustrating and lacked the same level of communication and support. That said, when Dr. Gaitan is present, the experience is exceptional. I'm so grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and expertise shown by Dr. Gaitan and Fatima. Highly recommend! read more

Horrible. I called on 5-26 and was told my consultation told be 29 99. On 5 27 I called to confirm this and was told it was correct. Both calls acknowledged i was a former patient. Two hours later I was called to confirm that I understood that I was a returning patient and it would be 165.00. The supervisor i asked for hung up on me. I have gone to Aspen Dental in Winchester for 3 months. Each time the denture would not stay in my mouth. My last visit Ricardo told me they need to send me to a specialist. That's is Leesburg VA. I was told with the last denture top, get used to it, they never made another bottom. Overall !!! My teeth fall out, even after I was given a paper to add a powder to the paste. All I want now is my money back. I have never been so disappointed in any place as I have here. Yes, everyone is so very polite, but no they are not good with making dentures. I have called Bailey over the last three weeks and left many messages but as of today I have not gotten a call back. I just want my money back. read more

Was referred here for a specific situation and was quoted for multiple things. Calling receptionist/ and front desk are horrible. Quick to get you in, but the service after is so bad. Shady on their pricing and when you ask why they transfer you to billing who says to talk your dental insurance. My insurance covers 80% extractions no deductible yet charged a $50 deductible at the office while paying for a service preemptively. read more

Yall! I'm new to the area and had to find a new dentist. I've had a looooot of work done in the past (fillings, root canals, extractions, dental implant, etc) so in general, I'm not a fan of the dentist. I'm talking real anxiety. Came here based on google reviews. Took my kids here first to test them out lol. Now, be aware that calling the main line to the office sucks. Not gonna lie. Paying up front or trying to work out insurance issues doubly sucks. But the staff makes up for it. No lie. Eli, Jessie, Fatima, Dr. Marc - ALL GREAT! My treatment plan includes fillings, deep cleanings, extraction and then a bridge. I had the deep cleaning and extraction today. Smooth appointment. I had a lot of anxiety and the Dr was able to prescribe something to help me with that leading up to the appt. My first time doing that and I'll probably do it from now on with major procedures. I had a lot of questions along the way and everyone patiently answered them all. I made an appt one day to just get further clarification on the procedure I was scheduled to get. Even in the middle of procedures, I'm asking a lot and I've never felt I was bothering anyone or it was an inconvenience. I definitely recommend the Winchester office. Don't expect treatment same day...I don't think they work that way. read more

I called and explained my husband had a previous root canal that was obviously infected and they scheduled him only to tell him as soon as he sat in the chair that they don't re-do root canals and sent him home unseen. Then proceeded to charge him for the office visit. Super shady business practice and we will never recommend them! read more

Horrible, when you call it says , they will help if you need a Denture urgently, i did call in March and they told me they couldn't help me till august, that's when my daughter directed me to affordable dentures, they on the other hand were amazing! read more

after waiting a few weeks, I have been suffering with a tooth infection. The dentist put a crown on even though I told him it was very sensitive still,. I had to go to another dentist and have the crown removed. An entire Root was missed and I am back on antibiotics and having to go visit another endodontist in a few weeks. I have made numerous calls, trying to get a refund for the money that they overcharged me and unfortunately, it may have to go beyond that because I am getting nowhere with the office manager or the corporate office. I have dental records and proof of all this that my tooth was indeed infected, and a crown should not have been put on and now I have to pay for the same procedure all over again. read more

I called and set up an appointment to have two broken teeth pulled. This was made known on the initial call, and again to the front desk when I arrived to the xray when doing X-rays, and the dental hygienist when doing the initial exam. Letting all four people representing Aspen dental that I was leaving for vacation in two days and wanted the teeth pulled. I overheard the dentist telling the man in the exam across from that they didn't do same day treatment. But they would come up with a dental plan. The man explained about his pain. I thought I was misunderstanding until the dentist said the same thing to me. I am beyond upset. i wasted 5 hours of sick time from work only to walk out. The staff was nice enough, but when I want a problem tooth pulled and the only options I am given for a replacement so my teeth won't shift is an implant or a bridge and the dentist said he refuses to do a bridge. Well, there's also a partial denture plate that costs WAY less than an implimplant and is mire within my budget. Shame on y'all for pushing expensive implants and payment plans that people keep telling you they can't afford. I'll pull my own teeth before I ever set foot in Aspen Dental again! read more

new patient "emergency visit for crown removal" Asked them twice if they accepted the insurance....Assured twice that they did. Gave my info with insurance! and had me fill out whole history! THEN TELL ME THEY don't accept the insurance! AWFUL FRONT DESK STAFF. I can't comment on the dental assistants or the dentist....we never got that far. From what I am told they are wonderful....what a shame I never was able to meet them and experience their skill. Get rid of your front desk! read more

I wrote a rather lengthy review on Yelp a week or so ago and it did not appear. ???? Aspen Dental is by far my best experience in any dentist office in my life. Quick, courteous, detailed oriented and make you feel comfortable throughout the process. I received new U+L dentures that I have had for quite some time. With my new dentures I never realized that how much pain my mouth was in before -- they fit perfectly immediately with no adjustments and are very comfortable. The staff were great throughout the entire process. Aspen Dental also took care of the insurance paperwork and I only paid for the "net" cost after insurance out of pocket. Other places require that you pay the full freight and battle with the insurance company on your own. Again, kudos to the staff. Keep it up. You have a customer for life. read more

New patient appointment yesterday. The dentist seated my crown in the complete opposite direction it fits. The outside is now inside and it sits up so high that my bite is completely off. I asked the dentist TWICE yesterday afternoon, why it sits so high? That I couldn't bite correctly. He assured me TWICE that it was on correctly. This is NOT the case. Now my husband and I have to take the day off work to return and have their ineptitude corrected. Here's hoping. read more
