John showed up on time and did a great job converting my dryer plug into another room. Very friendly as well. I'd highly recommend him.

Romo came out right away to install chandeliers. Turns out we also needed our panel updated. This…read morewasn't a surprise since we were warned about that year. His team was professional and was so accommodating. They helped clear a part of the garage without a complaint in order to run the wires properly. Now that work is complete, im looking forward to finishing up with the chandeliers. Thanks, Romo!!!

My experience with ER Electric was really bad. I went with them because their reviews were so good…read morebut the negative reviews aligned with my experience.  TLDR:  - random cancellations, no shows, and no response when trying to reschedule - still has not provided a receipt for my $3000 payment, after having asked numerous times - shady payments via zelle. His bank kept rejecting my payments and I ended up having to pay his wife's zelle account (??)  Long version: Romo took almost 2 months to complete my project of replacing the subpanel, adding a 20 amp circuit, and repairing any damaged drywall. He and his team cancelled/ no showed on my tenant more than 5 times and was super unresponsive when scheduling. My tenant had to live in a home with holes in the walls for almost a full month before it was finally repaired. The business operates very shadily. I have asked for a receipt for my payment numerous times, and he still has not provided one. I had to pay him in 3 separate transactions via zelle because his bank kept rejecting my payments. I'm not sure how this business has a 4.8 rating on Yelp, but will not be trusting those reviews from now on.

This project started from a simple inquiry from this Yelp app and Lowell replied quickly. No confusing back n forth chats, just a can-do attitude! We couldn't be more pleased. Lowell came highly recommended. My mom has an older house with just as old electric. The exterior…read morelights would get weird in heavy rains. This went on for about two years and then stopped working altogether. I had a couple of other companies come out for a quote - each had different approaches to repair/replace but they didn't seem confident they could fix the issue despite the cost and wanted to tear open walls and bypass existing outlets and switches. Enter Lowell. He was prompt to bid and was able to start relatively quickly. He didn't talk himself up and was realistic with expectations, but within a half hour, he found the issue and had the lights on and figured out a repair that wouldn't involve gutting plaster walls and tearing up concrete. He updated various outlets and even repaired a glitchy interior light switch. His years of experience, especially with older homes, is exactly what I was looking for and needed. And very pleasant to work with! We've had him repair some other things since and we've been super happy with the work and the costs are fair. I have a list of things I'll be calling him for as I get to them, including a probable upgrade to the panel for a car charger in the near future. Thanks Lowell!!

This review is long overdue. I just returned from my mom's house and that reminded me I need to…read moreleave something here. Earlier this year, we discovered that the water-circulating system in my mom's house was not working. The guys from PL came over and said that we should also replace the water heater. It was old but still working but decided to replace it anyway since we needed to replace the circulator. This morning, she told me that the heater contractor came by to inspect the heater and discovered that the filters were all wet. When they looked for the source, they discovered that the roof vent from the new water heater was never reconnected.....STRIKE 1! Next, I asked them to come and give me a bid to install an upgraded electric service for a new electric car. Gabriel (think that was his name) came by. After looking at our system, he asked to see the inside of the house. He then went through our kitchen and bathrooms and gave us a bid for the e-car hookup buy also a largert bit to replace all of the electric outlets inside. Why can't yoou just give me a bid for what I asked for? Seems like he was trying to increase costs when I was OK with what I have. STRIKE 2! I held off on the car so didn't do anything. A bit later I called them to adddress some GFI outlets tripping in my mom's patio area. Gabriel came out again and gave her an estimate to replace the outlets. He also told her that the two electric panels in the garage and pool areas were decicient and must be replaced. The cost seemed high and I didn't buy his arguement since we installed solar a couple months before and the panels passed city inspection at that time. Plus, now my elderly Mom is worried that her home may catch fire! Since the cost was huge, I called in another contractor to get a second opinion. He immediately told me that the outside outlets were fine and that the issue was that the water pump for her water fountain was bad and that is why the outlets kept tripping off. I purchased a $15 pump on Amazon and everything has been fine since. Again, they sent their "salesman" out to try and bump a bid up as high as possible, except this time they also failed to address the issue I called them about. STRIKE 3! With these experiences, I have come to the conclusion that they cannot identify a basic electric issue and then try to create additional work to take as much of my cash as possible. Three strikes, so they are officially OUT!
