Every year we open our cottage during Easter weekend just so our children can participate in the Ramona Easter Egg hunt! Ramona provides a positive, safe, fun environment for children and families. They have several skating games like limbo and four corners. Rollerblades, High Top and Low Cut skates are all available for rental and the staff is always very helpful. Ramona also has a snack bar with basic foods and pop. Its a snack bar so don't expect gourmet but it provides that little boost you might need as you skate your night away... They recently built a mini golf course next to the skating rink but we have yet to try that out. For fun,affordable family time check out Romona!

With the rearranging of the picnic tables, the small party space now seems to be a bit bigger. Upon arrival I was pleased to see it decorated per the parents decorations, so it would appear my last review was taken into account by letting future parties in a few minutes before to decorate. Staff was very polite & helpful. Again, not much has changed in leu of decor. Walls surrounding the skate floor look like they were painted by a toddler. I don't think it would cost the owner much to think of a more aesthetic alternative. Perhaps let artists from the local high school have at it? As for the food.. imagine my surprise when the parents didn't bring their own pizza & instead opted for a dozen 6" mini pizzas from the snack bar. I watched dumbfounded as the staff shuffled the pizzas between two microwaves. Every food item available seems to be nuked, there are no fryers that I see. I ordered my son some mozza stix, they had a really strange taste.. I hope they're not expired or bad. I'll update my review should we get sick later. All in all, the kids had a good time. I remember seeing hot chocolate and remembering the good ol' days when it was so cold outside and when your mom told you to come in, she had a hot cup of chocolate waiting. The staff was friendly and were very informative as to the difference in skate types, figure vs. hockey. Parking was pretty accessible and there was plenty of it and free! I came back in 2009 with my own daughter to see if they were open still and since then I am hooked again. It was wonderful to teach and share in the Tarry Hall Experience with my own daughter. The rink is so well kept and the staff and owner are very friendly. The lighting system and sound system are off the hook!! They run some special deals often and have some theme night skate sessions like 80s music. The Flok app has a lot of special deals for this rink too. I have nothing but the best feeling of nostalgia and a place that rivals all other rinks in the area.
