There's plenty of parking space and open availability. My only complaint is the lack of assistance for people that are coming in for their appointments. Speaking of, there's a parking next to my car right in front of the doors as I speak! Lol. The business was prompt in contacting me to schedule appts. I scheduled all 6 appts ahead of time in order to avoid booked out days, which they do get booked up pretty quickly. My first appt was my eval in which they determined my treatment plan. Everyone is so laid back & friendly, always smiles all around. They made it feel like home, as if I was working with a friend. In the most professional way possible. Making the appts go by quicker. Everyone remembers my name, or at least my face to the point where I don't need to check in. They already check me in just seeing me. Making my experience all the more personable. Everyone that I've worked with has been amazing. The equipment itself looks new & up to date. I love how they have floor to ceiling windows all along the front of the building. It brings in so much light in & makes the space feel bright, open, clean, airy, & fresh. The AC is always on & you can noticeably feel it. Which is great because everyone is basically working out & breaking a sweat. & definitely no funky smells. Lol. One treatment I initially mentioned to my doctor that I refused to do was PT. I thought they were just "exercises I can do at home." Now, 6 appts later I can definitely say those "little exercises" alleviated my pain. I feel way better coming out than I did going in. I wanted to provide additional great feedback about Julio - I met him during my initial eval appt the first time I came in. I got the chance to work with him personally 1 out of the 6 appts. He definitely goes above & beyond to make patients feel comfortable. His outgoing personality made the appts go by quicker. Which is something I needed after coming to my appts after an 8hr work shift. I work in management & Julio is someone I'd love to have on my team. Seems like he never has any bad days! Lol. & if he does, it definitely does not show in his work. Every time I've came in, he always greets me with smiles. Attitude is always "can do" & bubbly. Love his love for his little family. If you're having a bad day, expect him to make you laugh when you come in. I brought my toddler son in with me. During the appt, Julio went beyond to make my experience as comfortable as it could be with no judgement. At the end of my appt my son began getting antsy for being here too long & Julio took the initiative to help me by taking my son for a ride along as a day in the life as a PT. My son is FOUR. We even joked about them being "coworkers." Lol. Dan has also been great! He was the last person to help me with my last two appts. He was patient & welcoming. We spoke about our backgrounds & I guess we just all relate. Being that we (myself, Julio, & Dan) all trauma bonded. Lol. I asked them why were doing what they currently do... The story behind their traumas are the EXACT reason why they are the most PERFECT candidates for their position. They actually CARE, they've been through stuff, they have a passion behind the reason for their work, & they're compassionate. I highly recommend this business & the ppl who work there. If I ever in the future need PT services (hopefully I won't ever), this is the place I'd be. Thank you everyone!

He actually listens to you & focuses on the issues you have. From headaches, back & bone pains & Carpal Tunnel, he's great for all of it & you can tell he cares. And him & his staff don't try to hustle you or sell you a crazy package. He'll advise you when to see him again with no pressure, it's up to you when you can come in & if your getting better & don't need to go for awhile he'll be honest & let you know. His whole staff has been great every time I've gone, their quick & friendly. They accept many insurances too. I've actually bumped into a few friends here & they all love coming here. He's also real good with the neck cracking, so don't be scared. Come get a crack & adjustment then treat yourself & go a couple doors down & get a raspado from the little Mexican shop. Thanks Dr.B & keep up the great work!

I had just experienced another flareup and was feeling desperate. They were able to get me in to see Dr. Shane quickly, and when I tell you that I felt like I was with a miracle worker. We went through several motions during the intro session, and he was able to diagnosis my issue (piriformis syndrome and tight hips). He performed cupping and massage, and he was able to loosen up my stubborn hips. He then had me perform some PT exercises, and I IMMEDIATELY felt relief. I honestly couldn't believe it. I thought the relief would go away after a few hours, but it stayed for a few days. I've worked him for about 6 sessions now, and I've felt drastic improvements. He tailors the training session to my problem areas, and he doesn't increase my load too quickly, to make sure I don't reinjure myself (which had been happening before). It's a bit pricy, but it's honestly been a lifesaver for me. Would recommend to anyone!

On 9/9/2024 I was injured during a massage at Sports Performance Physical Therapy in Chula Vista…read more The LMT had her elbow in the intercostal space of my left anterior chest when I suddenly felt an incredible amount of sharp, stabbing pain. I cried out and requested that she remove her elbow from my chest. The pain in my left chest was excruciating. I was unable to use my left arm without experiencing an enormous amount of pain. Even breathing was painful. Coughing and sneezing were unbearable. When I woke up the next morning, the pain was severe. Based on my symptoms, I was afraid I had a rib fracture. I contacted Cristianah Comaduran, Operations Manager of Sports Performance to notify her of the injury. She spoke with the LMT, who verified what happened. We stayed in contact over the next several weeks. I informed her that I would be filing a claim with their liability insurance and would contact her once I was completely asymptomatic. For the next two weeks, the pain was severe. I was unable to work, do household chores, and help my 4 year son with the things he needed, like getting dressed, bathing, basic ADLs. I filed a short term disability claim through my employer (I'm an ICU nurse). The stipulation for payment is that the first two weeks are unpaid, and then 60% of earnings are paid. This was a great financial burden for my family. The consequences of this injury were costly with low income for the months of October and November. My pain continued to improve until I caught an upper respiratory infection (URI) that caused continuous coughing. The pain was back and it was severe. Each cough and sneeze was excruciating. Once the URI resolved, my pain improved. For two months, the pain and suffering was debilitating, not allowing me to work, exercise, take care of the household, and most importantly, my son. It caused sleepless nights because the pain medication I was prescribed did little to relieve my symptoms, which lead to chronic exhaustion. The findings of my MRI on 11/14/24, which was two months after the injury, showed asymmetric edema at the level of the left third sternocostal joint. Two months after the injury, I still had abnormal results which were consistent with my symptoms. My thoracic spine MRI from 2022 showed none of these injuries. My PCP's impression was that there was a sprain of costal cartilage subsequent encounter. He determined it was costal-sternal joint strain vs developing costochrondritis. Along with pain and suffering, I experienced anxiety and distress due to financial strain. The injury resulted in thousands of dollars of missed wages. In addition, I was unable to accrue paid time off and contribute to my pension and retirement fund. This set me back two months from being vested at work. When I returned to work, I had very little sick or vacation time due to the inability to accrue paid time off (PTO). In January of 2025, I called out sick for 3 shifts (36 hours) when I was sick with the flu. I did not have enough sick time to cover the hours missed. I also received a double occurrence for my absence, which was not cleared from my record until January of 2026. It was worrisome that despite returning to work, the effects of this injury continued to be a financial burden and was affecting my performance review at work. This incident has also resulted in out of pocket costs, such as co-pays and pharmaceuticals, not to mention I was never reimbursed for the massage that started it all!! Perhaps worse than everything, I had to borrow money from my parents, so there's an element of shame in addition to the pain, suffering, and distress. This injury has been costly in terms of lost wages/PTO accrual and out of pocket expenses, not to mention inability to contribute to retirement and inch closer to being vested at my place of employment. I submitted an incredible amount of documents to Sports Performance in attempt to file a claim against their liability insurance. They were extremely difficult to work with and despite my repeated efforts to present all documents they requested, my claim was denied. Total cost for lost wages and out of pocket costs: $20,224.09. Because of this massage, I experienced pain, suffering, chronic exhaustion due to insomnia, anxiety, distress, and shame...and I didn't even get a fucking apology.

Eventually we went for X-rays and I was there a total of 5.5 hours and I kept making myself vomit to get whatever was stuck. I eventually got it myself without the assistance of anyone. When looking outside of the curtain, there is NO SENSE of immediacy. NONE. All the nurses and doctors seem to walk casually as if there isn't an emergency. I was seen way quicker in the past at the family health center's Urgent Care. The bathroom stank and there was someone's poop on the floor. Never again.
