We wanted to be certain our furniture remained in good condition and spider free. It's kinda out of the way, but that's fine with us. There's a security gate to get in, then another security access point to get into the climate controlled units. There's even a dolly and rolling cart for customer use! That was super handy. Elite does require customers to have a very specific lock, but that's wasn't a problem since we had it already. Our payments were deducted online monthly and we've never had any trouble with management. We found this place online and it all started with a call. Now that we're coming up on the end of our use, all we have to do it cancel our service with a phone call, as per the instructions of the office workers. As soon as we do that, our pin to get in is no longer good, so we'll wait until we're all packed up and out to do that. If you're looking for a secured place and climate control, I definitely recommend this place. I really enjoyed keeping my stuff here!

Well, that didn't happen and we got a string of excuses why it didn't get done. Frank, the owner and our contact is now ghosting our phone calls and text messages. He gave some many reason why the money wasn't in our account even told me he was at the bank to get things figured out. If you deal with this company, be sure your freight is COD.

Given that the plan was to unload our vehicle and immediately leave for CA, and it was 4pm on a Saturday, we were in a bit of a panic to find a place that was still open. Best storage was one of few places with office hours till 5pm on Saturdays so we rang them up to confirm availability. The gentleman in the office set us up with the perfect unit size, at a rate that was great compared to other storage facilities. Drove through the gate (which you can access from 4am (I think?) to 10pm, loaded up our storage unit (all first floor!!), locked up and then headed along our merry little way. Or so we thought... Right at 5pm, while buying snacks around the corner for the road, we discovered that the ID we used to photocopy for their records had been left behind, so we frantically dashed back. The office was closed so we emailed and called, and within 10 minutes someone reached us and returned to the office to give the ID back. Can't even begin to explain how grateful we were, since having your drivers license is pretty important when traveling through multiple states. Even without customer service that went above and beyond, Best Storage would have been 5 stars for pricing, availability, operating hours, and unit accessibility. But returning after hours to get our ID back really meant a lot to us, which definitely put Best well above all the rest.

3 weeks prior to our move we reserved a truck and paid approximately $700 for hiring movers through…read morethis Uhaul location. The day before our move no one had reached out to confirm so we sent a text to Comfort Delivery who we hired through Uhaul. The owner, Thomas Winters, replied to the text stating his moving company had dissolved and he wasn't coming. No one from Comfort Delivery or Uhaul let us know that and if we had not sent a text to confirm the day before, we would have been sitting here on moving day with no help. We reached out to this Uhaul location and Anthony answered the phone. We let him know that the movers we hired and paid for through their website are not even in existence and his first response was to laugh and tell us that yep, they should have let us know that. The owner of Comfort Delivery called us fat c*nts and said we need Jenny Craig for hiring help with our move. When we got there to the Uhaul store to pick up the truck the computers were down and we couldn't fill out the checklist at the store, so now we are just waiting to see if they are going to screw us over on drop off even though we had no option to fill out their checklist on the condition of the truck when we received it and we were given nothing showing the state of the truck when received it.

They never missed payments and actually even paid in advance monthly. My grandmother prepaid for the month of May on April 15th. My grandfather passed away on April 23, so we went through and cleaned out the unit on April 24th. We called on Monday April 26th (because the office is closed on weekends) to see about getting the May payment refunded since we no longer needed the unit. The man in the office REFUSED to refund because "the check already cleared the bank". He would not provide a name or number to call his supervisor or owner of the facility. We called another location only to find that he had already talked to them about us and so they also refused to provide any contact information, or even the last name of the man in the Ozark location. Only once we left a comment on their Facebook page did they respond in a helpful tone asking us to DM them. They called my grandmother directly from a restricted number and left a voicemail saying that they would not refund the May payment because we did not provide a 15 day notice per the contract and they couldn't give us special treatment...even with the extenuating circumstances of a DEATH in the family. We were not asking for anything other than a return of the prepaid $48 for a unit that will be sitting empty now for that entire month. A slap in the face from a facility that never fixed the door that was broken for almost a year, regardless of it being brought to their attention more than a couple of times. It's clear that they do the bare minimum maintenance because there was also barbeque sauce smeared all over the door handle and pin pad that had been there so long it was almost dry...but not quite because it ended up all over my hand. Customer service 0/10 Maintenance of property 0/10 DO NOT RENT HERE.
