For a group of six, we were seated promptly and our server got us water as well. The experience went downhill after we ordered. We waited over an hour for our food to be served after ordering and to me, this was completely unacceptable because the restaurant wasn't full and we were just ordering burgers and sandwiches. Onto the food - perhaps a 2/5. The ahi tuna sandwich ($17) was fine. There was not a lot of tuna in it and it was quite saucy but I was starving at this point. It came with a side and chose the Caesar salad. It was almost inedible because of way too much dressing. But one of the worst part of the meal while eating was the flies! Oh god, they're everywhere and we were unable to even enjoy our meal without swatting every minute. The worst part after eating was getting our bills. Our server was either no where to be found or was completely ignoring our table. We tried to flag her multiple times and she seemed to purposefully take another route to avoid us. After waiting another half hour we decided to flag another host to call our server over. We were completely disappointed by the poor customer service. Overall bad service, bad experience, mediocre food. Will not come back.

The service was top notch, Mackenzie was there when we wanted her, and understood we would be there a while catching up. For a younger server, she showed experience beyond her years, and was excellent. We should have tipped her more, and I hate the preset tip percentages. Typically don't use them, but I had a brain fart today. Three of our diners loved their meals. The lovely K loved the fish sandwich, our friends their B&S classic sandwich and most especially the Prawn Cobb salad. Unfortunately my Honey Thyme fried chicken sandwich was not good. Overcooked and black with a paltry amount of fries, not a good $23.00 meal. Would we go again, yes I would because I think someone just f'd my food up. If I was to get that again and it looked like mine today did I would for sure send it back.

Just recently my wife myself and my daughter went to Earl's to have dinner and to use the Gift card at that time. We gave the server (Makayla) the gift card, as we sat down. She said that she would take the amount off of the bill. We had dinner and it was decent just not a lot of food on our plates. I usually don't eat there because I find it very expensive. With the gift card it's not so bad. When we received the bill I didn't notice that she had not removed the gift card amount off of the bill. I noticed the next day when I was going though my credit card. I had been charged the full amount of the bill ($123.81). No problem right? I phoned the restaurant manger to have this resolved, and ask to have a refund of the $100 as they had my gift card at the store. He said they don't under no circumstances give any refunds. The manger said they had the gift card in their safe and I could pick it up and use again for a future dinner or give it to somone else. Now I have to pay twice for very mediocre food ($123.81 the first time and $18.96 the second time). I asked him, if I had not seen that my credit card was overcharged what would happen to the gift card. He said that if it's not pick up, then the server would get it. I guess Mikayla would get $100 extra tip. I called the head office and left a message which said they would contact me within 48 hours. I'm still waiting for that call, which was over three weeks ago. Maybe a lot of you like eating at Earl's but just make sure that you aren't over charged.
