Does not respond to requests via their "Contact Us" form. Or at least not if they don't like the job you are offering them. I had a canvas job for my boat, altering the current canvas, and had no response after three weeks. Upon calling the shop, I was told that they "..really don't check that web input". I visited Joe's to discuss work to be done on my '65 Corvette. the work was relatively simple: carpet replacement and seat foam replacement and new leather seat covers. They seemed rather disinterested as they were very busy. I said I'd follow up in a couple of months. Upon calling Don, I was told they were busy and he would call me in 3-4 weeks. They never called! I got the work done elsewhere and it is perfect. I'd pass on Joe's in the future, they don't seem eager to satisfy new customers. read more

I was referred to Joe's to do a headliner on my 2005 Accord. They broke a plastic piece off the back which could not be put back into place. My sunroof also suddenly did not work after they installed the new liner. They didn't take responsibility even though the sunroof worked before the service. The liner itself looks good which is why I will give them two stars. Now I have to go to my mechanic and fix the sunroof issue. It is a strange coincidence that I have never had a sunroof issue until now. read more

I am extrememy disappointed in the repair of a small tear in the perforated leather panel on a backseat in my Lexus. The tear was from the corner of a frame. When I picked my car up, the repair job looked like it was done by an elementary student!!! When I showed it to Ron Jenkins, he stated "it was the best they could do". I told him that he said my seat would be taken out of the car and repaired from behind the leather. Instead, the tear was made larger. pulled forward and glued and put back in place. It looks hideous and extremly unprofessional. No offer was made to correct the unslightly job, by replacing the perforated leather panel. I was told I could buy a $1,900 seat cover from Lexus or get a seat out of a junkyard...WTH!! My car's interior was pristine, but not any longer. Now I am left with a big, sloppy glued repair job on my seat. The owner, Don Jenkins, offered no apology or offer to right the sub-quality work his employee performed on my car. Honestly, I wouldn't want them to touch my car, or believe anything they would say. The quality of work and customer service is unethical. If you value your car's interior, look elsewhere for a professional looking repair. Avoid this business. You will be disappointed. Work ethics are shameful! read more

I need to clarify my rating. The work they did was very nice. The bait and switch they tried to pull on the pricing is why they get 1 star. I received a verbal quote for labor and materials at my car when they were inspecting the damage to a rear seat to repair. When we went into the office to write up the ticket the price was increased. I called them out and they changed it back to the verbal amount. When I picked up my car they had changed the entire bill of sale to new numbers increasing the price. I did not receive a copy of the original quote, my mistake, but it had the original crossed out upgraded price. This new quote had no cross outs and the price was over $25 more than the agreed upon price. Shame on me for not receiving a copy of the original quote. Shame on them for trying to taking advantage of me, twice. Not reputable if they will stoop this low. read more

Joe's Upholstery was highly recommended to me so I talked to them and got an estimate for $1,000.00- $1,100.00 for reupholstering my pontoon boat seats, repairing my carpets and patching three small holes in my cover. The estimate was fair so I agreed to the service and brought everything to their shop in Feb.(Actually the cover and carpets were dropped off in November 2014). I told them I wanted to sell the boat and would like the work done by the middle of April so I could show the boat at the beginning of spring when most people buy boats. They said no problem. Around the first of May, not having heard from Joe or his son, I dropped by the shop to see if everything was done and was told "not ready" will be starting on them next week. two weeks later I called and was told they couldn't find any of my items. The next day I went to their shop and we found the seats right where we had unloaded in the 2nd building 3 months ago. I was then told they would have everything ready in 2 weeks. I called Joe's 2 weeks later, surprise, not ready. Finally June 17th Joe called and said the seat were ready. Great, finally, still time to sell the boat this year. I asked how did the carpets turn out? their answer was what carpets? What boat cover? I had my wife pick up the seats that day for which they charged her $1,168.00 for just the seat work. I own an AC repair company, so I know you sometimes run into more expense on a job than you expect so I said nothing about the price increase. The next day I went to Joe's and helped them find my carpets and cover right where we had unloaded in the 2nd building 7 months ago. I was told they would be ready by next week. July 9th I called to check on the repairs again. Not ready. July 28, not ready. August 10, not ready. August 28, I called again. Not ready and Joes not here, I will have him call you on Monday to tell you when they will be ready. After never saying a word about the continuous delays for 6 months, I then lost my temper and told the women on the phone (Joe's wife?) that I have been waiting 6 months and was considering calling my attorney. She said she didn't know about that but she would have Joe call me and hung up. 30 seconds later she called me on my business line and said that I could pick up my cover and carpets, that they could not do the work for me and that my items would be outside. (evidently they now have at last memorized where they have stored them for 9 months). I picked up my items immediately as suggested and will be filing a complaint with the Maryland Attorney Generals Office. read more
